I found this place on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. I texted the phone number here, to which the owner (Mika?) replied instantly and sweetly. She was extremely nice and accommodating over text, informing me of her available time slots, services, and prices. On the morning of my appointment, she texted me asking if I could come at an earlier time. I said yes. Unfortunately, I was running late, so I let her know over text. She called me and very brashly asked if I was on my way. I reassured her that I was close by, but she sounded very annoyed and repeated several times that it was "15 minutes past my appointment time." I apologized and drove as fast as I could to the location. Upon arrival, I parked in the back of the building and called her again to make sure I was in the right place and did not need to pay for parking. She ignored my question and told me to RUN up the stairs because she had a client coming in 20 minutes and she was "not sure what she could do for me" because I was, again, "WAY past my appointment time." She said to hurry because I also had to sign waiver forms. My assumption is that Mika had booked clients back to back that day because if she had a client coming in 20 minutes, that meant that my entire appointment was only 40 minutes long (which, in my opinion, is too short to give proper care and attention anyway). I had trouble finding the stairs to go up to the salon so called her one more time, only for Mika to say, "You know what, I can't take you anymore, there's not enough time." I said sorry again for being so late and asked if I could just get my old appointment slot back (later that day). She said no, she had already filled it so I had to figure something else out. TL;DR: I was super late to my lash lift appointment and it ended up getting cancelled. Therefore, I cannot speak to Mika's skills as a lash tech or quality of service. However, I am leaving this review to inform everyone of the unprofessional correspondence I had with her. Maybe she was just under a lot of stress today, I don't know. Regardless, there is no need to speak to anyone so rude and condescendingly, especially not a potential paying client. I apologize for wasting her time, but still feel like the bad attitude she gave me was uncalled for. I have made an appointment at a different salon where I hope to be respected as a customer instead of talked down on like a child. read more

I've been going to Mika for my lashes since May 2018. I believe she's a true artist - she understands how to make you look great based on your eye shape and how your lashes grow, and continues to hone her craft by continuously learning new techniques. She takes really good care of your lashes. Her place is very clean and well maintained. I definitely have recommended her multiple times to friends. It only enhances the comfortable ambience she has going (I almost fell asleep). The whole process took between 20-30 minutes and she's happy to answer any questions as well as offer pertinent information. Actual results: I can't speak for everyone but amazing. I've never had my eyelashes played with because well, I've just seen and heard too many horror stories. Studio510, on the other hand, with its already outstanding reviews, caught my eye. Mika is awesome!!! I was looking to get extensions at a new place. After reading reviews, I decided to go with Studio 510. Instead of extensions, I ended up getting ablash lift and tint instead I'm so happy that Mika recommended it! I had extensions done at another place, but the fill prices increased significantly, and the last 2 times, my eyes really stung from the glue that was used. I took a break but missed the look. Absolutely amazing! Considering I have short lashes, I wasnt expecting my lashes to then out the way they did! But they came out way better than I expected! Like FAAAR better than I expected. I'm not a fan of HUGE glammed up lashes so I wanted to give this tinting and lifting a try and I'm so glad I did. I find it unbelievable that you these are my actual lashes just lifted! It's crazy. I got a lash lift & tint for this first time and it was great! If you're looking to do something with your lashes but don't want to fully commit to extensions, you must try a lash lift. I wanted to get my lashes done before a trip and luckily a spot was available to do so. I have very straight, stubborn, naturally downward facing asian lashes so I didn't know how they would react to the lift but it's been a few weeks since I've gotten them done and they're still up! Depending on the person, Mika said they last about 6 to 8 weeks long. Another great thing about getting the lash lift is that it's extremely low maintenance. I haven't done anything special with my lashes to maintain the lift and they still look great. I literally just slap on some mascara and I'm ready to go! I've never had anything done to my lashes and I've heard so many horror stories about lashes falling out so I was hesitant to have anything done with my lashes but I'm glad I gave this place a try. I've been going to Mika for almost 6 months now. Before that my lashes were not healthy enough to hold onto the extensions. Extensions from the prior esthetician were glued on baby lashes or were too heavy and pulling out my natural ones. She introduced me to Rodan and Fields Lash Boost to encourage faster lash growth. Mika explained that she would only put extensions on the "adult" lashes to give the baby ones a chance to grow. My lashes are healthier and retention is great. Mika is the best :). I was looking for a place to get extensions for an upcoming trip. When I called Mika, I was able to book an appointment for a few days later. It was my first time getting lash extensions so I talked to Mika about the various lengths and curls. I showed her some pictures I found on her studio510 Instagram to explain what I was trying to go for. I wanted to have long and curly lashes since my natural lashes are short and straight. At first, I made my appointment for a glam classic set but after talking to her, I decided to go with a medium classic set since that fit my current lashes/eye shape better. It was very helpful that she took her time to cover all of the options with me beforehand. I asked her if I could listen to my music with headphones and she said yes :). The full appointment was very relaxing and it took about 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was extremely happy with the lash extensions. I didn't have to worry about putting on makeup for my 2 week trip!! Mika's tips to retain the lashes were useful! My lashes lasted about 4.5 weeks. I didn't have any problems with the extensions ruining my natural lashes. I found that my lashes actually grew from the lash extensions because I wasn't rubbing my eye during the month of having the extensions. Mika is very welcoming and kind.
