Studio is in a two story building! Kiki was very professional and careful. I made a last minute appointment for a foreign fill. I honestly did not know how much lashes I had left, so I wasn't sure if I needed a new set or fill, but Kiki agreed that it was a fill. It took about an hour and 20 mins for the fill! She is super gentle and careful with her work! I didn't have to explain much, I just told her the length I usually get and told her to do whatever she thinks is best. read more

I'm sad because I really wanted it all to work out because her prices are great but man oh man. :/ a bunch of her fans were glued to multiple lashes. I couldn't even comb through and it ended up hurting and being itchy. I decided to go to another salon and get these taken off and have some one redo them but I was pretty disappointed. It was a bit hard to find the lash salon itself; it's tucked into the second floor and reachable by walking down a long corridor through the door on the left side. I had trouble finding the place but Kiki was able to guide me there. I was also able to book an appointment through the online booking system which was quite convenient. I asked for Angel Light Volume which ended up looking more dramatic than I thought on me, but that might be due to the lash lift I got previously. The lashes themselves are light and not tangled, and I didn't have any redness or burning sensations in my eyes at all when Kiki was finished, something that I've experienced at other eyelash extension studios. I also had great retention even after snorkeling and showering. There is a bit of a gap on my right eye, but Kiki advised me that it was due to some lashes being damaged from the lash lift I got (from another technician). All in all, I would go back to get a fill but I'd probably ask for a more natural set on my eyes. read more

I felt bad because my eyes are so sensitive and she had to prep extra around my eyes so that I wouldn't disturb the glue! She did such a fantastic job. Book online through the website or request an appointment through Yelp. She books up fast- so don't wait! The salon location is a little tricky if you haven't been before. If you park at 818 Sheridan (right across the street from HMSA building), go to the 2nd floor and enter the door on the far left of building- right at the top of the staircase. Walk down, take a right and walk all the way to the end take a left and it is the door at the end of the hall. You'll see the sign for Beauty Babe Salon. Let me start off by saying my lashes look GORGEOUS! My previous artist moved to a farther location so I decided to give Kiki a try. I'm so glad I did! The salon is conveniently located near Ala Moana Shopping Center and they have tons of free parking in front of the building. When you enter the salon it's bright, beautiful and clean. Kiki started my appointment with a little consultation. She's been lashing for years and she is extremely knowledgeable. Kiki is state licensed and certified (**VERY IMPORTANT**). We went over the eyelash extensions that I like and what I usually get. Then, Kiki went over the style, length, and curl that she was going to do for me and I felt comfortable and in very good hands. Kiki works with very light and gentle hands. She also places a towel over my forehead as she works, which I like. I makes me feel more comfortable and relaxed. I do tend to sleep during my lash appointments so most of the lashing portion is a dream filled blur lol. When she was done and I opened my eyes, there was no discomfort (which I would sometimes have with out her artist). When I saw my lashes.... I LOVED THEM!! They were so full and fluffy! It was even better than I expected! I like my lashes super full so I went with the Hollywood (full) set and let me tell you... I felt like I was ready for the red carpet ;) I've had my lashes for about 5 days now and my lashes still look like I just got them done. The glue she uses is great and it did not irritate my eyes at all. The pics I've added are my lashes at day 5 and they look AWESOME!! Her prices are also really reasonable for full sets and fills. Kiki's prices are definitely lower than the industry standard but the salon, service, certified and licensed artist, and lashes that you get are better than most! I was going on a girls trip and decided last minute to get my lashes done and only could do them on a Sunday and Kiki was one of the only ones who was open on Sunday and also not booked! I never leave reviews on Yelp, but just has to because of the experience I had when first going to Kiki. I met Akiko when she worked at a salon and followed her when she opened her own business. She is sweet, kind and honestly cares about your lashes. She does a fantastic job! She shares a space with other businesses but there is privacy. Lots of parking off the street, too. I've been getting my lashes done for years and I like a natural look, which is perfect every time.
