Sanae is the sweetest!! I've done lash extensions in Cali and now here in Hawaii and after going to Sanae for months I must say Eyelash Coco is the best. What the heck! This is such a hidden gem! I wish I lived in Hawaii because I'd go to Akiko all the time. Akiko was extremely patient and gave me suggestions on what type of lash shape works for my eye shape. I got the single plus 160 with cc curls 11 and 15-16mm. They look so good! Great experience. This is my second time getting my eyelash done. Last time was over 10 years ago somewhere else and that experience was awful. I thought I'll give it a try again. Eyelash salon coco was a good choice. Location is clean . sanae did my lashes ans she was very nice and gentle. She listened to me ! Lol even though I barely knew what I wanted but she made suggestions as well. They have a chart for you to narrow down and choose the type of lashes you want . I wanted to look as natural as possible and it did . It's been 3 weeks and my lashes are still on. I followed instructions from Sanae on how to take care of them and change my facial routine in order to keep lashes in longer. The best for me is that they have an online appointment system which is so convenient. The only downside is parking but if you from town . You know how that goes. You will have to street park. I tired to make appointment hut seem like everywhere is fully booked. But I got appointment on the next day with this place. She nicely taking care of me. What I got is exactly what I wanted. I love love my eyelashes. It's totally 1 month and a couple day that all the eyelashes felt off from my eyes. This salon is 100% recommended Before, I really didn't like how my lashes were growing down and I had to curl them up for multiple times a day. I've tried eyelash lift, single plus and flat plus (extension) in this salon. Lash lift was very nice how I never had to curl my lashes anymore. It made my life so much easier ahaha. Single plus was definitely nice for a natural look without them looking too dramatic. Right now I have flat plus on my lashes, and I personally think these are the best. I'm not doing any special care to my lashes but they're lasting great after a month. They don't fall out easily. The inside of the salon is super clean, and has a modern looking. The ladies working here are very sweet and awesome, and they can speak both Japanese and English. Sanae and Natsumi did my lashes and I love them so much *just one thing that's a bit confusing is their location. They're in the building that's behind Walmart (Keeamoku). Went to get my lashes done and this was the only place available. I've gotten my lashes done for years so I know what a fair price for lashes should be. I showed her a picture for reference and she said she could do them for me. I chose the 160 lashes thinking that was the total amount for them. I paid a total of 210 for these. Ridiculous price. I wouldn't pay more than 140 for these if I'm being honest. If you have sensitive eyes I do not recommend coming here. The salon only offers CC curl to be the curliest as well as 15mm being the longest. As she was doing my lashes she kept walking away as well. She was very nice but overall extremely overpriced, did not receive even or full lashes and not straight forwards with her pricing. read more

I should have listened to the reviews. The pricing is a total scam. I was drawn in by the $78 first time customer for 120 lashes, and even confirmed on the phone that this was the price. $78, by the way, is still on the steep side. I've been to great lash salons in New York City and pay less than this. I've been to another Korean lash lady in Honolulu for about this price but could not find her this time. Regardless, upon going in, the menu they presented had steeper prices, and when I asked the lady (Yoshiko) what was $78 as advertised, she pointed to this STIFF FAKE GROSS lashes that would've hurt anyone's eyes. So naturally, I was already there, I bit the bullet for the 120 lashes for $122. Workmanship was ok, no better than my other experiences for double the price. When I went to pay, I handed her $140, and she suggested she kept all of it because of the 15% tip, which I thought was included in the exuberant price. I just had my first (of many) lash appointment with Sanae T and I cannot stop smiling. I will try and list as many details as I can and hope to not leave anything out. I booked my appointment online and it was very easy to navigate their website. It allowed me to choose the date and time of when I wanted to come in. When I first got into their suite, I had my temperature read and was given hand sanitizer. I filled out an info sheet with my contact information and answered a covid screening questionnaire. Even though I have gotten lash extensions previously, I never remember the information of the style etc. But Sanae kindly showed me the different sizes and pictures of her previous work so I would get the lash look that I wanted. I got to lay on a massage table type bed and was very comfortable during my entire appointment. Sanae was very gentle and always asked me if I was ok. There was no pulling or tugging on my eyelashes which I had previously experienced at other establishments. I also liked that there was a towel around my hair and on my forehead. For my full set, it was roughly around an hour and half and she was fast and efficient. I left smiling and feeling like the best version of myself. I immediately scheduled my fill with her and they also send text message reminders for your upcoming appointments also. I 10 out of 10 recommend this place and Sanae. I am beyond satisfied and excited that I found a lash tech that I can consistently go to to keep me feeling amazing. Thank you thank you Sanae. read more

This is my first visit to an eyelash salon. I always use Yelp as my reference guide. Since Coco had great reviews, I decided to make an appt thru their website. Sanae responded quickly. Love that they have the "first time" rates. I was nervous about this but Sanae explained the process, what's the difference between 120 or 120 plus, etc. I was totally pleased with the choice she suggested. Everyone that saw me after, thought I had Latisse. They were totally surprised that it was extensions because it looked so natural.
