My lashes have never looked better! The application was comfortable, and the results were flawless--full, natural-looking lashes that lasted for weeks. She truly listens to what you want and customizes the look to suit your eye shape and style. The attention to detail is unmatched, and I've received so many compliments since my appointment. I have always wondered about eyelash extensions. From what I understood, they're very high maintenance; you can't get them wet and the prices to put them on are crazy! Plus, I'm not very girly girl. I hate putting on makeup and getting done up. I rather live au naturel. Unfortunately, being that way makes me look like a guy and that does nothing to attract the opposite sex. Anyway, back to the eyelashes. Why did I get them? Well, I was going on a trip, and from what I understood, having eyelash extensions does cut down on makeup time. Heck, I'm down for that since I hate putting on makeup. Less time getting ready equals more time for sleep! Goal! Isn't that what vacations are about, relaxation and experiencing new places? So, I figured, heck I'll do the extensions. I'll try them out and if I hate them, I just won't get them put back on. But once Karen-Marie was done putting them on, I was all like, whoa baby, I look so cute! I loved it! The whole flight there (the 6 hours flying) I was staring at myself in the mirror, taking selfies, fluttering my eyelashes, my friend thought I was crazy! But I love it. The eyelashes opened up my eyes! Without putting on makeup and makeup and makeup. My vacation did involve serious pool time and in the water, but I was careful. I wasn't a pain and said, oh don't get my lashes wet. They got wet, but I did my best that the water didn't pull too much on them. Yes, I know, that sounds weird, but once you have lashes, you'll understand. So that nixed that myth, you can get them wet. Not excessively wet, but your lashes won't die if you splash some water on them. My verdict on eyelash extensions? I can not not have them. It makes a world of a difference. All I have to do is wake up and go! It's that easy! I get fills every 2 weeks, but I rather save myself time than money. But her prices are not ridiculous! They are very affordable unlike some other places. The thing about the lashes is that I don't have very long ones. Karen-Marie tried the longer ones on me, but they didn't look right. Maybe for other people it would be ok, but I trust her judgement on how she makes me look so beautiful! Karen-Marie is very professional, but is a one-woman shop. Because she runs everything, she prefers texting. She does have an on-line appointment system that makes it very easy to make appointments. There isn't any parking at the building, but Ward Center has tons of parking. Just go to Jamba after you park! So if you are curious about eyelash extensions, check out Karen-Marie. And if you don't like them, then you don't have to get them refilled. But you'll look funny with stray lashes on. Good luck! read more

Karen is incredible. She's professional, caring, careful, quick, and very generous. She truly showcases the art of eyelash extensions. And it is an art! The prices are reasonable, especially for the meticulous placement and quality of products used. Karen is careful, but surprisingly very quick. She really does a great job--I cannot emphasize that enough. The extensions are light and NOT pokey. The spacing is perfect! She knows exactly how to open up the eye and accentuate the right parts. Highly recommended! Yelp 365 - #098/365 read more

Really happy with my classic eyelash extensions. Yuriko asked for feedback on the length and style before installing and asked for an inspiration photo, so I got what I wanted. It has been holding up fairly well and it's been a few weeks; I have been taking care of them. read more

Eyelash Extensions Hawaii - Eyelash Service Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Karen is amazing, it had been a while since I had a facial. She goes above and beyond any facial I have had in the past, and I have been to multiple spa's. She uses locally sourced products that are organic I believe, so no heavy perfumes just fresh. If you need a ME day I highly recommend her, and once the facial is done try the lash extensions. I particularly like the Y lashes for staying power until my fill 3 weeks later. Enjoy your day and thank you Karen! read more

Karen is seriously amazing! I just got eyelash extensions today for the first time and I love them! Her prices are very reasonable. She was very nice and makes you feel very comfortable. I am definitely going to her again!!! read more

I had done a lash extension and booked online. The online is a little confusing for a new comer. I just need to touch up and I have no clue on which service that is. Other than that, Karen-Marie was very professional and since this was my first time getting it done, she fully explained the process from the start and then how to take care of them after. She made me feel comfortable with this new experience. I too, don't put on make-up but having these lashes made a big difference. Of course took a while to get used to not rubbing my eyes (habit I guess) and washing my face "NO TOUCHING THE LASHES". I normally would only book on Saturdays which parking might be a little crazy with the farmers market going on at Ward. Over all, I love it, and I just need help with the online booking. read more

I live in Chicago and travel to Honolulu to have Ms. Karen-Marie do my lashes, that's how good she is! Trust me, she is one the best lasher's I know. You will not be disappointed. I am a little technically challenged with booking my appointments, but she and I text and she is always willing to step in and help me book an appointment, when I am back in Hawaii. I have a very active lifestyle, meaning I am in the Hawaiian ocean all the time. My lashes last through my snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding and every other sport I do. So, if you really are serious about lashes. Go to Karen-Marie, you will not be disappointed. read more

Karen did an amazing job! I had my lashes done for my wedding and I loved it so much that my sister had hers done too. You can tell that her technical proficiency is very high and she's also very friendly and easy to talk to. She also shaped my brows to a beautifully natural shape. All of my honeymoon photos turned out great and people even compliment me when I'm not even wearing makeup :) I thought that I would only do this once but I think I'm hooked and will keep going back to maintain them. read more

As my first time getting lash extensions done, I really didn't know which ones to pick and even what to expect. I decided to get the enhance extensions, jus to test the waters. When I arrived, Karen carefully observed my lashes and she informed me on which lashes would best suit me if I end up coming in for touch ups. She was super quick and precise in her movements. I loved how she explained my eye shape and what length/method of application she was using through the whole process. Has a very pleasant experience and I'm in love with my lashes! read more

Karen-Marie is the best. Lashes came out just how I wanted it. I'm doing an interview so I wanted my lashes to be elegant and not too full. Also my lashes feel very light as if I never even got them done. She did just as I asked. It took around an hour yet it felt so quick. Which is a good thing for me. I got cold and she even put a blanket over me too keep me warm. Very sweet woman. I would definitely book with her and you should too:) read more

5 stars indeed for Karen Marie. I wasn't driven by price when I looked for someone, I wanted someone who knew what they were doing, that wouldn't burn my eyes and who used good products. She is above and beyond and I have had extensions for two years. She's the best that I've found. If you want to try it, if you have them and not happy with anything about it, call her. You'll be happy. For me, well worth the money I pay. Her shop is great, very zen feeling, with really nice relaxing music. Best advice: relax, let her do her thing and don't be late, she's pretty busy! read more
