Since then, I've been seeing Mel, the owner, for regular sports/deep tissue massage. She always makes sure to check in regarding how my body is feeling, specific areas to focus on or avoid, etc before having me disrobe. I had a 90 Minute Barefoot Massage with Sayuri, and it was hands down, the best massage of my life. I'm a massage therapist myself, and I've had a lot of massages! I came because I am certified in Sarga Bodywork (a style of barefoot massage); however, I have never received it myself since I learned it online, so I wanted to finally experience it myself after doing it for 3 years! I live in CA and not many people do it out there, at least anywhere close to me. I'm on vacation in HI for the first time and was blessed to see that several places offer it out here, walking distance from where I'm staying! Sayuri used a blend of techniques including (but not limited to) Sarga, ashiatsu, and Thai, with lots of hot towels and aromatherapy. It was amazing because I could really tell that she put her full heart, body and soul into it, as well as 100% of her presence. You can always feel when a therapist is just going through the motions and not really there with you, even if they're physically there. That full presence makes all the difference in a massage. Came here for a 90- minute postpartum massage. This was gifted to me from my husband for Valentine's Day. I also came here for a prenatal massage with my husband. We usually do a couples massage each time. We've been coming here for years and always have a nice experience. Yesterday my massage was with Rie at the Eaton Square location. We always came to this location. We haven't tried their new location yet. Rie was very extra careful with ensuring my pressure was good and that I was comfortable the whole time. She was very sweet. She put a pillow down for me to make sure I was comfortable for my breasts as I am breastfeeding and also provided a towel. I felt nice and relaxed after. I really needed a massage at 7 weeks postpartum and after a C-section. After my massage I was given a cup of water and a chocolate. Nice way to end the massage. Some things that were different this time around was that I was told they don't do Kamaaina discount anymore. This was a surprise because my husband and I were always offered Kamaaina discount including our last visit which was just a month ago. My husband purchased the gift card according to that pricing. I was also charged an extra $20 for hot stones. When I booked the massage online there was nothing that said there would be an extra charge. Also, they say parking is free with a 2-hour validation but we always have to pay $3 for parking, so am I missing something? One more thing to note I heard other people talking outside the room. I think they were other people checking out in the lobby. But it was loud and put a tinker in my experience. The staff should tell people to try to be quiet while others are getting treatments done. This is a Chinese foot massage priced as a Western spa establishment. There was an electrical drill going off randomly during my 2 hour visit and I could hear all the squeaky doors opening and closing. My therapist had strong hands but no real technique and at one point I got a Charlie horse in my left foot. I did not get the pampering I was expecting and the visit was not enjoyable in the least. If you go to a Chinese foot massage place the prices usually match the ambiance so no complaints there but for $200 which is $100/hr, they need to do better. The upside is the room was the perfect temperature, the table was nicely cushioned and the sheets are soft. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been here several times for massages for couples massage and individual massage throughout the year. All the ladies here are professional and can deliver a great massage to your liking. I do remember some of their names: Tiyani, Alise, Sayuri, Jennifer. I enjoy deep tissue massage and a firm massage so in my experience so far I believe Tiyani and Alise deliver that best. If you're looking for a softer touch, Sayuri and Jennifer are great. The rooms are on the smaller side, especially when booking the couples massage, but it's cozy. I prefer darker room and sometimes there was more light in the room. They do put a towel over your eyes when you're lying on your back. One of the times it was also colder which didn't make it the most comfortable experience. Booking is easy through their website. You will have to place a credit card on hold when booking the appt. They do give you a reminder text too. They also validate parking since you can park at Eaton Villa Public Parking. This was literally the best massage I have ever had, and I've had quite of few of them all over the place!!! I personally like hard to very hard pressure, where they really work out all the knots and kinks and the next day you may even feel sore so you know they actually did something, and usually massage therapists do not do it hard enough for my liking... I am also 7 months pregnant, so not only did she have to navigate through a prenatal massage, but also took all my special requests of where to concentrate and where to avoid, and really listened to me and applied what I said! I booked a 90-min prenatal massage with Etsuko, and while this was my first prenatal massage, I've had many massages over my lifetime and this was one of the best massages I've ever had! I am 6 months pregnant, and booked a massage here because I saw that they have the special table for pregnant ladies, and it did not disappoint (it has holes for belly and breasts so you can lay face down comfortably). I love a firm massage and Etsuko did the perfect pressure the whole time. I asked her to focus on my shoulders and lower back, so most of the time went to a very thorough focus on those parts, but she also did my arms, legs, feet, neck and head. I didn't expect her to do my front since you normally can't lie on your back too long while pregnant, but she had a wedge pillow ready which allowed me to be face-up. Another nice touch! Honestly, I'm considering booking a second massage with her if time permits while I'm in Waikiki - it was that good! Highly recommend. Also, when you get a confirmation email, they send you details about how to find the space, which was very helpful. Another note - this is not a spa. You hear a relaxing music that gives off a vibe of tranquility/meditation/peaceful/ relaxing/calm vibe from a different culture. You then change and there is a basket for your clothes. You lie on the table with a towel covering your body and the massage therapist will start massaging you! They will ask if you want stronger or if its ok. The massage therapist will ask you what part of your body is sore or bothering you. The massage therapist will rub oil on your body and spray some kind of relaxing herbal spray on you to help you relax. The massage therapist will also add on very warm/hot towel on you to help your muscles relax! I got a full body massage primarily focused on my back bc it has been bothering me. After my 1 hour massage is done, i lay there for moment to relax in peaceful tranquil atmosphere. Then i get up and change. The massage therapist will offer me some water. There is bathrooms down the hall if people need. The massage therapist will then validate Parking if you drove or were driven and parked nearby in the parking lot. In my experience I have also learned that you need to drink alot of water after a massage to help get the toxins out of your body or you might experience a feeling of not feeling yourself, a little light headed. My hubby sprung on me that he wanted us to get a couple's massage the week before Valentine's Day. I was desperately searching for a place that could accommodate us when I found Red Earth Massage & Wellness had an opening for a couple's massage at 6:15p! It was challenging to find an appointment since I am pregnant and wanted someone who specialized in prenatal massage. When I booked, Melanie, the owner took the reservation and let me know my confirmation would be coming via email. We asked if they had Kamaaina discounts, but she said because of COVID, they had eliminated it. Bummer! Our price was $75/hour per massage plus tax, so $150 total plus tax for both of us. A day or two went by and we did not receive our confirmation. I called back and Melanie apologized and my confirmation came as expected. Phew! We arrived just before 6:15 on Saturday for our massage. We were greeted promptly and taken into different rooms. Melanie did let us know ahead of time that due to COVID restrictions that we would be in separate rooms. Tiani was my therapist and asked me if there were areas I wanted to focus on. I let her know that since I'm pregnant, I sleep on my side and because of that, my hips have been aching. I also let her know that I have sciatica on my right side, lower back. Lastly, I asked her to focus on my shoulders and upper back since I work in an office. Because it was a prenatal massage (which I had never had before), I didn't lie on my stomach, but rather on my side. Tiani got to work massaging mostly my back and shoulders for quite some time, then down to my legs and feet. The foot massage felt wonderful! I didn't know what to expect, but eventually she told me to turn over to my other side. I sort of wish she told me ahead of time that I'd be changing sides halfway through, because I did spent the first half of the massage wondering if we would get to the other side or if she would just do her best from the side I was laying on. Luckily, after flipping over, she gave me the same treatment on the other side. Unfortunately, she didn't much focus on my hips or sciatica, which were my main points of contention, but it was a solid massage overall. Afterwards, we paid and then left. I saw on Yelp people having tea and oranges after their massages, but we were not offered any. My husband enjoyed his massage, especially his head massage, but he didn't receive a foot massage which he was a bit disappointed in.
