Amazing massage for myself and my MIL. We booked General to get the Lomi Lomi. At the last minute my MIL had bad knee pain, and changed to Thai massage since that's what shes used to. And the masseuses were so transparent and said they weren't certified for that, but will try will their best to accommodate. My MIL's masseuse asked a bunch of questions. And then we got our massages... My MIL seriously loved hers. She said her knee felt so much better. And it was way better than a Thai massage. So, MIL approved... and did I mention I absolutely loved mine??? read more

10/2026 We've been going to red earth for at least 10 years! We keep coming back because it is so good. We usually choose 90 minute couples massage. And both of us agree that we just melt with relaxation. It's always our go-to. read more

I had an amazing massage with Rie at the Alana location today. She is very sweet, kind hearted, and intuitive to what your body needs. The pressure was perfect. I feel so much better!! I can feel her healing energy flowing through me. It was one of the best massages I've ever had! I plan to book with Rie again next week. read more

Wonderful pre-natal massage with Mayumi! She was incredibly kind, professional & highly experienced. This was the first time I laid in a maternity massage bed with a belly bump hole, and as a stomach sleeper pre-baby bump, it felt so good ‍ I booked a 120 minute session and I left floating 10/10 recommend! Will be coming back read more

tl;dr: excellent deep tissue/sports massage from Mel, reasonable pricing, and convenient locations, parking, and booking. The Alana location has a nicer ambiance overall, but the Hobron location has soothing vibes once inside as well. Have been coming here since 2020. Initially I saw Jackie, but sadly (for me), she moved (but congrats to her on taking some big steps in her life and career *heart*). Since then, I've been seeing Mel, the owner, for regular sports/deep tissue massage. She always makes sure to check in regarding how my body is feeling, specific areas to focus on or avoid, etc before having me disrobe. She does a great job of addressing my areas of concern as she progresses through the massage. Her firm pressure, attention to trigger points, and thorough technique always leave me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated whether I'm dealing with surfing soreness/injury or office worker related tightness. If you're looking for a therapeutic massage, this is the place to go! read more

Came here for a 90- minute postpartum massage. This was gifted to me from my husband for Valentine's Day. I also came here for a prenatal massage with my husband. We usually do a couples massage each time. We've been coming here for years and always have a nice experience. Yesterday my massage was with Rie at the Eaton Square location. We always came to this location. We haven't tried their new location yet. Rie was very extra careful with ensuring my pressure was good and that I was comfortable the whole time. She was very sweet. She put a pillow down for me to make sure I was comfortable for my breasts as I am breastfeeding and also provided a towel. I felt nice and relaxed after. I really needed a massage at 7 weeks postpartum and after a C-section. After my massage I was given a cup of water and a chocolate. Nice way to end the massage. Some things that were different this time around was that I was told they don't do Kamaaina discount anymore. This was a surprise because my husband and I were always offered Kamaaina discount including our last visit which was just a month ago. My husband purchased the gift card according to that pricing. I was also charged an extra $20 for hot stones. When I booked the massage online there was nothing that said there would be an extra charge. Also, they say parking is free with a 2-hour validation but we always have to pay $3 for parking, so am I missing something? One more thing to note I heard other people talking outside the room. I think they were other people checking out in the lobby. But it was loud and put a tinker in my experience. The staff should tell people to try to be quiet while others are getting treatments done. All in all I still had a good experience. I would like clarity on the parking situation and local discount though. read more

I had a 90 Minute Barefoot Massage with Sayuri, and it was hands down, the best massage of my life. I'm a massage therapist myself, and I've had a lot of massages! I came because I am certified in Sarga Bodywork (a style of barefoot massage); however, I have never received it myself since I learned it online, so I wanted to finally experience it myself after doing it for 3 years! I live in CA and not many people do it out there, at least anywhere close to me. I'm on vacation in HI for the first time and was blessed to see that several places offer it out here, walking distance from where I'm staying! Sayuri used a blend of techniques including (but not limited to) Sarga, ashiatsu, and Thai, with lots of hot towels and aromatherapy. It was amazing because I could really tell that she put her full heart, body and soul into it, as well as 100% of her presence. You can always feel when a therapist is just going through the motions and not really there with you, even if they're physically there. That full presence makes all the difference in a massage. My previously tight body feels so amazing right now, and I wish it would stay this way forever! I feel like jello! I'm sad that I don't live in Hawaii because if I did I would come see her often. I felt so relaxed during it that I caught myself drooling at one point lol. PLEASE go see Sayuri if you want to have a magical experience. She made day 1 of my first time in Hawaii even more magical than it already is, and I will always remember this massage!!! Thank you Sayuri! read more

This is a Chinese foot massage priced as a Western spa establishment. There was an electrical drill going off randomly during my 2 hour visit and I could hear all the squeaky doors opening and closing. My therapist had strong hands but no real technique and at one point I got a Charlie horse in my left foot. I did not get the pampering I was expecting and the visit was not enjoyable in the least. If you go to a Chinese foot massage place the prices usually match the ambiance so no complaints there but for $200 which is $100/hr, they need to do better. The upside is the room was the perfect temperature, the table was nicely cushioned and the sheets are soft. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Satoko and Minako were phenomenal! We left feeling amazing. My fiancé and I booked a deep tissue couples massage. We felt comfortable and satisfied our expectations. read more

I just recently moved to the area and needed a massage to help with all the aches and pains that came from lifting all those boxes! I found red earth massage and wellness on yelp and booked a 60 minute general massage with Melanie. She took all the time to understand my concern areas and was very responsive to the feedback I had to give her. The massage place itself was clean and well maintained, and all the other staff were very professional. I had such a relaxing time. Overall, I will be back! read more

I booked a couples massage here and I'm glad I did. I asked for deep tissue and my bf asked for Swedish. Summer worked out most of the tension in my neck and shoulders. She also offered me aromatherapy, and we were given water and vanilla shortbread cookies from Kulu Kulu afterwards. Thank you! read more

Red Earth Massage & Wellness - Massage Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

This place is wonderful! It is clean, professional, friendly and decently priced. Right now I am enjoying Mayumi's massages very much! She can find the knots and works them out great! I highly recommend this place! read more

I was visiting Honolulu and had an amazing 2-hour massage with Melanie. She was very friendly, had magic hands and made me feel so comfortable. I was very relaxed afterwards. The facility was very clean. I would highly recommend getting a massage from them. The online booking system was easy to use and you pay onsite after your service. I will definitely book another massage the next time I visit! read more

They are very professional and they give a great massage . I prefer there Alana location for the better ambiance.

Massage is a therapeutic art and your body is the canvas. I've been coming here for years and have enjoyed massages from Jackie, Mel, and Teyani. They're very excellent at transitioning between ligaments and muscles and can accommodate to various levels of pressure. The massages were the perfect combination of new and similar techniques. I feel that over the years my massages were tailored to my body's needs. The locale is in the Eaton Square and parking validation is provided. read more

Giving 4.5 stars. Wonderful experience. I easily booked a couples massage using Yelp. It was very easy and staff were very responsive and professional. There is parking the plaza where the massage is located but we found pay street parking for $2. When you walk in you walk in to a very zen environment. Dim lighting, soothing music gave a really nice ambiance. My masseuse was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Gave just the right amount of pressure. I tend to get ticklish in certain places and she read me right away. My only feedback I gave was that the room felt too cool with the ac running. Had it been warmer, I'd have given a full 5 stars. Received yummy cookies in celebration of their 11th year business anniversary at the end. Will definitely come back. read more

Wanted to come to a locally owned place for a massage for a friend and me for my birthday. Booking was so easy and Melanie - the owner was so accommodating when my friend decided on her massage same day. We went to their newer location at the Alana building - it's a business center so yeah it feels a little weird but once you enter the suite it's warm and really reflects the red earth name with its deep green walls and warm window coverings. I got the warm earth package and I left feeling warm and toasty and my therapist really focused on the areas I asked. She was so kind because it's not easy for me to relax. My friend got the sojourners journey package and was also feeling amazing. We ended our evening with tea and chocolate. I will for sure come come back and support. read more

Treat yourself! You deserve a massage whether to wind down from stressful workdays or on vacation. I've been here several times for massages for couples massage and individual massage throughout the year. All the ladies here are professional and can deliver a great massage to your liking. I do remember some of their names: Tiyani, Alise, Sayuri, Jennifer. I enjoy deep tissue massage and a firm massage so in my experience so far I believe Tiyani and Alise deliver that best. If you're looking for a softer touch, Sayuri and Jennifer are great. The rooms are on the smaller side, especially when booking the couples massage, but it's cozy. I prefer darker room and sometimes there was more light in the room. They do put a towel over your eyes when you're lying on your back. One of the times it was also colder which didn't make it the most comfortable experience. Booking is easy through their website. You will have to place a credit card on hold when booking the appt. They do give you a reminder text too. They also validate parking since you can park at Eaton Villa Public Parking. Overall I would recommend getting a massage here since I've had mostly positive experiences here! Room for improvement: +Keep rooms darker +Ask about temperature to make sure it's comfortable for customers +Offer water / tea at the end of massage (I love massage places that do this) read more

Great massage and while being pregnant it helped alot as i been stressed but it relaxed me

I used to come at least once every trimester when I was pregnant for a prenatal lomi lomi massage ! What initially drew me in was the reviews showing they give you a little treat after LOL I know pregnant me couldn't resist an after massage treat. Overall I had a great experience with every massage I had gotten here. Sometimes the massage therapist was a bit more chatty than I like (usually I like to just zone out and not talk lol this is definitely just preference though) and I didn't know how to nicely ask if we could have a quiet massage. The parking was in a structure which was a bit confusing to me at first but after getting lost the first time, and calling the office, they were super nice about helping me find the structure over the phone. And after coming a few times I got the hang of it and it was nice that they had designated validated parking esp in Waikiki. I'd def try and come again to treat myself to a nice massage read more

This was literally the best massage I have ever had, and I've had quite of few of them all over the place!!! I personally like hard to very hard pressure, where they really work out all the knots and kinks and the next day you may even feel sore so you know they actually did something, and usually massage therapists do not do it hard enough for my liking... However, Tiyani totally delivered and it was the most amazing one of my life! I am also 7 months pregnant, so not only did she have to navigate through a prenatal massage, but also took all my special requests of where to concentrate and where to avoid, and really listened to me and applied what I said! Not only that, but I feel like she REALLY knew what areas to concentrate on and not a single movement or stroke felt out of place, uncomfortable, awkward, or painful! She had the perfect amount of pressure, whether it be very hard in areas that needed it, and more gentle in areas that didn't due to my pregnancy and special requests. Every moment of it felt absolutely amazing and it melted all my problem areas away! :) It's hard to find a massage therapists that executes all your requests, and I cannot thank her enough for this incredible massage that I will never forget! I wish I lived here so I could come back as much as possible!!! :( Anyway, I 10/10 recommend! read more

I've been getting massages here all year. It's definitely the best local massage in Waikiki, prices are very fair for the high quality. Summer is the best masseuse ever!! She has magic hands omg. Ask for summer. read more

My GF and I were in Hawaii celebrating our anniversary, and we always love to get a good massage in. I did some searching on yelp, and there are plenty of options in Waikiki. I was very surprised when I saw Red Earth has a solid 5 stars, so I read some reviews and decided this is the choice. I booked online for a couples massage, 1.5 hours. The rates were good, combine that with the good reviews, I was definitely looking forward to this. It might be a little difficult to find, but they sent me a text message with instructions and the rest is history. They're located on the 2nd floor. When we arrived, both of our massage therapist were waiting for us. The room was dim/dark, very calm. We went into our own room and off we go.. My GF usually likes it hard, almost painful imo. I like it medium. My therapist was good, she started off strong and it caught my attention right away. I was a little caught off guard but it was in a good way. My GF said hers also started very strong but died off a little at the end, probably 'cause she was tired. We don't remember their names unfortunately. Overall, it was a good massage. I was expecting a little more because of the 5 stars and great reviews. We've been to some really good and really not so good places and this was good. Again, the price point was fair and we did walk out feeling relaxed. Thank you. read more

I took a staycation really last minute and booked by accident on a date I couldn't make, when I called the women made it super easy to reschedule with the same massage therapist I had "Melanie". Today I went in and Melanie was great from start to finish, she made sure I was comfortable and checked on me during the massage and if I needed less or more pressure she was very attentive and made sure everything went smoothly. This was my first massage and I am very pleased I will be back! Melanie was hands down a great experience and made my limbs feel 10 years younger after she was done. read more

I booked a 90-min prenatal massage with Etsuko, and while this was my first prenatal massage, I've had many massages over my lifetime and this was one of the best massages I've ever had! I am 6 months pregnant, and booked a massage here because I saw that they have the special table for pregnant ladies, and it did not disappoint (it has holes for belly and breasts so you can lay face down comfortably). I love a firm massage and Etsuko did the perfect pressure the whole time. I asked her to focus on my shoulders and lower back, so most of the time went to a very thorough focus on those parts, but she also did my arms, legs, feet, neck and head. I didn't expect her to do my front since you normally can't lie on your back too long while pregnant, but she had a wedge pillow ready which allowed me to be face-up. Another nice touch! Honestly, I'm considering booking a second massage with her if time permits while I'm in Waikiki - it was that good! Highly recommend. Also, when you get a confirmation email, they send you details about how to find the space, which was very helpful. Another note - this is not a spa. This is a therapeutic massage experience so if you're looking for a big spa-like space with lots of frills, this isn't the right place for you (at least at the Eaton Sq location). read more

A beautiful massage experience! I am usually very ticklish and cannot tolerate massages EXCEPT here. Over the last 10 years, we have been here 3 times for special occasions, and it is always a wonderful experience! Update: Red earth reached out to me directly regarding my experience. Really appreciate the time and care they take to make things right. This place has some pros and cons. Con I've had a few less than mediocre deep tissue massages here and the last one was the worst. I actually wanted to ask her to stop as it felt she was just moving my skin around. Pro Every time I call the person who answers is really nice and helpful Parking is pretty easy and validated Place is clean and relaxing Jennifer is the best masseuse they have. She is absolutely amazing and I've learned my lesson to only go to her from here on out. Go see Jennifer if you want a great deep tissue massage!! read more

I am writing this review because if you are like me, you spent two hours on Yelp reading reviews to try to find a place to get a massage and are skeptical of all reviews lol. I gave this place a go and I'm so happy I did. It was absolutely amazing. I had an hour and a half massage with Summer and it went by too fast! Summer listened to all of my concerns and checked in a few times to make sure everything was going well. She was thorough, kind and understanding and even came out to get me when I couldn't find the office (it can be little challenging to find). It was clean and calming and I can't wait to go back. Trust me when I say this place rocks! read more

My boyfriend got a massage while I got a facial here and it was delightful and southing. Red Earth is tucked away on the second floor so be sure to come slightly earlier to be able to find the place prior to your appointment. My boyfriend had Victoria and she got all the knows out of his back. He actually fell asleep during the massage (never happened before) and that was a good indicator that she was getting the right spots. I had Mayumi and she was an absolute sweetheart! My facial was rejuvenating and I felt as if my face retained more moisture after the facial. She asked what issues I was having with my skin and she was able to resolve them. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can't wait to go back. read more

Made an appointment online for the Buddha within package. Victoria checked in before the massage strayed about what parts needed some work. My neck and shoulders felt so much better afterwords. Very relaxing and much needed self care. They are located in an office building so it does seem like you are in the wrong place at first. Take the elevator to the second floor. Once in the office, it seems like a little oasis, peaceful and tranquil. read more

Red Earth Massage and wellness is located at Eaton Square just on the outside of Waikiki. It's located on the 2nd floor. I got the opportunity to experience what its like to get a massage! When you walk in the business you are politely greeted by the employees working at the counter. In my experience they are all nice and friendly! You can book appointments for massages throughout the week they are open 7days a week from ___ am to ____ pm. You can schedule with different massage therapist that work throughout the week. I got the opportunity to get to experience massages with an amazing girl named Ally! She is friendly and nice and very good listener! When you walk into the room its a little dark. You hear a relaxing music that gives off a vibe of tranquility/meditation/peaceful/ relaxing/calm vibe from a different culture. You then change and there is a basket for your clothes. You lie on the table with a towel covering your body and the massage therapist will start massaging you! They will ask if you want stronger or if its ok. The massage therapist will ask you what part of your body is sore or bothering you. The massage therapist will rub oil on your body and spray some kind of relaxing herbal spray on you to help you relax. The massage therapist will also add on very warm/hot towel on you to help your muscles relax! I got a full body massage primarily focused on my back bc it has been bothering me. After my 1 hour massage is done, i lay there for moment to relax in peaceful tranquil atmosphere. Then i get up and change. The massage therapist will offer me some water. There is bathrooms down the hall if people need. The massage therapist will then validate Parking if you drove or were driven and parked nearby in the parking lot. In my experience I have also learned that you need to drink alot of water after a massage to help get the toxins out of your body or you might experience a feeling of not feeling yourself, a little light headed. I really appreciate the amazing massage therapist Ally! There is also a girl named jennie at the desk that is friendly and nice but i haven't got the chance to have massage from her yet. I do highly recommend this business! After a massage, my body usually feels relaxed and better then when i arrived. Although, later when you go, sometimes you will feel sore for a day or 2, before feeling better! I truly appreciate this experience! Update: I also recently got the opportunity to experience massages from an amazing girl named Jennie! read more

My hubby sprung on me that he wanted us to get a couple's massage the week before Valentine's Day. I was desperately searching for a place that could accommodate us when I found Red Earth Massage & Wellness had an opening for a couple's massage at 6:15p! It was challenging to find an appointment since I am pregnant and wanted someone who specialized in prenatal massage. When I booked, Melanie, the owner took the reservation and let me know my confirmation would be coming via email. We asked if they had Kamaaina discounts, but she said because of COVID, they had eliminated it. Bummer! Our price was $75/hour per massage plus tax, so $150 total plus tax for both of us. A day or two went by and we did not receive our confirmation. I called back and Melanie apologized and my confirmation came as expected. Phew! We arrived just before 6:15 on Saturday for our massage. We were greeted promptly and taken into different rooms. Melanie did let us know ahead of time that due to COVID restrictions that we would be in separate rooms. Tiani was my therapist and asked me if there were areas I wanted to focus on. I let her know that since I'm pregnant, I sleep on my side and because of that, my hips have been aching. I also let her know that I have sciatica on my right side, lower back. Lastly, I asked her to focus on my shoulders and upper back since I work in an office. Because it was a prenatal massage (which I had never had before), I didn't lie on my stomach, but rather on my side. Tiani got to work massaging mostly my back and shoulders for quite some time, then down to my legs and feet. The foot massage felt wonderful! I didn't know what to expect, but eventually she told me to turn over to my other side. I sort of wish she told me ahead of time that I'd be changing sides halfway through, because I did spent the first half of the massage wondering if we would get to the other side or if she would just do her best from the side I was laying on. Luckily, after flipping over, she gave me the same treatment on the other side. Unfortunately, she didn't much focus on my hips or sciatica, which were my main points of contention, but it was a solid massage overall. Afterwards, we paid and then left. I saw on Yelp people having tea and oranges after their massages, but we were not offered any. My husband enjoyed his massage, especially his head massage, but he didn't receive a foot massage which he was a bit disappointed in. Overall, a good massage, but I'm not sure we'd book again. read more

Loved it. Yukari did a lovely job of making me feel comfy and asked me a couple of times if the pressure was right.
