Super lovey (and expensive) massage place; I visited twice in ten days. They have a full customizable menu. I got a two hour deep tissue with Kristina? each time . They also use Balinese and Thai techniques like standing on your back. She checked in regularly on pressure and temperature and clearly experienced with acupressure points. Highly recommend! Place was very clean and tidy. It is extremely hard to find to pay attention to the interactions they text you before your spot! Google maps will take you into a DWS? store which is incorrect! read more

I got a 90 min massage from Iris after 20 hours of travel and it was AMAZING. I travel a ton and get so many massages around the world so it's rare I'm impressed, but I was! She was very good and knew exactly what she was doing. She got out so many of my knots and really worked to loosen up my body! I like a super deep massage so if you're really looking for some deep work and real healing, Iris is for you! The place is a bit tricky to find but they give you great directions if you call ahead! I've been to a bunch of massage spots in Waikiki as well as a lot of the higher end spas but I will only be coming to see Iris from now on... read more

This is the best experience for our trip (Also the best massage in our life)! My husband and I got a 90 mins couple massage from Iris and Jackie. The way to get to the spa was a bit sketchy, but don't let it fool you. We've gotten several massages from all over the world, and Iris' and Jackie's techniques are the best. I think they use a variety of techniques(e.g., Thai, Chinese, lomi lomi, deep tissue) for our concerns. If we live in honolulu, this would be our go-to spa. Sad to give just 5 stars. Iris and Jackie deserve 10 out of 10 mahalo and happy new year! read more

This place is amazing! we got a couples massage here and they were so thoughtful and it was such a good affordable massage!

Amazing massage! I think it's the best one that I've ever had! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. read more

Kama'aina Massage Spa - Cute turtle lights - Reflexology Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

This was Ana amazing post marathon massage. I booked the two hour lomi lomi with aromatherapy. The therapist did an amazing job addressing my specific post run pain issues. One of the best massages I've had read more

Got a 90 minute prenatal massage from Zoe and it was heavenly! Laying on your side is so nice and relaxing and they give you lots of pillows for comfort. Also gave me hot tea at the end and a sweet little terrycloth teddy bear for the new baby. If I lived here I would go see her all the time!! read more

Miyako was beyond brilliant! Couldn't believe how good I felt during the whole massage. Have gone for a lot of massages and this was the best experience I've had in a while. No nonsense. Just pure relaxation read more

I booked 90 minutes with Iris, and I get weekly thai massage in san francisco. It was hands down the best massage ever. She worked on areas that normal therapists dont find and I truly left shaken up as in when you get a really deep massage. Iris is a big gift in this world. Call them to get in. It is in a really nice locked building next to Louis Vutton. read more

Iris is amazing with her strength and pressure. I had a full body massage and it was so therapeutic that I went back again to get all the knots out. She healed my sore shoulders, arms, legs, lower back and stretched my back that I actually feel a little taller. Thank you very much. Please note that the massage spa is right next door to DFS at 2222 on your left. It's a separate building and up the 6th floor you will find the spa sign. It's totally worth it. read more

Wow, wow wow wow wow. Excellent massage. The area is excellent and I had no issue finding the place after a bit of directions as soon as I called. They are in the building on 6ht floor. The door to the building is between the LV store and the DFS store. It was clean and Ilis did a great full body massage. My only regret is I didn't find it earlier in my trip or I would have gone once or twice more. WAY better then hotel. read more

I got an Amazing massage from Iris today! So wonderful and relaxing! I highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I came here to do a low key couples massage for his birthday and we were more focused on a quality massage versus rose petals that might've been reused for several couples/ a swan towel. No shade intended. My masseuse was so gentle in her touch yet firm with pressure. As a smaller 5'2 girl, I thought getting a thai foot massage (where they walk on your back) would be too much for me, but using her upper body strength to support herself, my masseuse was able to crack and get all the knots out of my lower back through her feet, hands, all the stretches, etc,. It was so good! We opted for the 120 minutes and it was definitely worth it. I don't need the bells and whistles of a romantic or posh spa, just need the quality care for my 80 year old back. read more

I've been here once before on my own as a gift from my bf after working lots of long hours and having a totally out-of-order body and loved it! For the next 3 months, I talked about it with my mom who has really bad back pain that, "Hey let's go check it out!" And she finally agreed since I requested it for my birthday. Today we went in sore and stiff, and an hour and a half later we walked out in awesome shape! These ladies really take it seriously when you tell them a part of your body needs more attention than other parts. Just remember to communicate with them when it's too soft or hard, they listen and will accommodate accordingly! My mom says she feels great! And I do too, we'll definitely be back soon. Oh! And there's a Father's Day discount going on for the rest of the month so if you're in the area, go in and treat yo'self! read more

The combination massage is the best massage I've ever had. It included Swedish, Thai and lomi lomi.

wow! Iris and Miyako gave the most awesome couples massage.. they delivered exactly the type of pressure that each of us requested and intuitively knew which areas needed more attention . Iris and Miyako were professional, accommodating, and exceeded our expectations. highly recommend . THANK YOU LADIES! read more

The therapists are very polite, professional and hard working! After 5 days of non-stop hiking, we stopped here for a massage and it was fabulous! read more

Great massage!! One of the top 5 I have ever had. This was NOT a Waikiki place at all, including the pricing. We very very accommodated and welcomed. The value was great and we will be back again in our next trip here. read more

Strong hands are just what I needed! My friend and I went for a massage to "celebrate" her belated birthday. Making an appointment was easy - did it via yelp and I received replies quickly. There is a parking lot in the back of the building - with two dedicated spots for Kamaaina Massage. The place itself isn't fancy, but it's clean. You walk in, receptionist table to the right of the door, and some chairs for you to sit and wait. We got settled in to a treatment room and two petite women handled our massages. Petite, but STRONG. And that's really what I needed. My massage therapist asked for feedback on pressure, and adjusted as needed. I'm pretty sure I dozed off during the session. All in all, a good experience and I would go back again. read more

Visited this establishment for the first time yesterday for a message and I was very impressed with the service. I'm writing my review a day after my massage and I just wanted to say how great I feel today. The massage in itself was awesome from head to toe. You can tell that the therapist feels every knot, kink, tightness, and strain in your body... the pressure she uses is perfect for me and the overall technique was exactly what I needed. I'll definitely be back... Thank you for your wonderful service!!! read more

My husband has had less than stellar experiences with massages. Most massage therapists have lacked the skills or strength to release all the knots or tightness on his back. He is 6'+ and is a larger built man who works out everyday. The owner of Kama'aina Massage was able to work out the knots and tightness on his shoulders and back. I am happy to say he has finally found someone who is skilled and able to fix his back muscle issues. He will be back. read more

I loved this massage! The owner was so friendly! I walked in feeling stiff as a board, I was in pain and having trouble sleeping at night. She stretched my body and worked out my stiffness, I came home feeling 100% better! The hot stones and oils are simply amazing!! I will definitely be going back!! read more

I have been looking to see a masseuse for quite some time and stumbled upon this establishment while I was in the area. I gave it a shot as they had a grand opening special! The massage had me feeling rejuvenated and looser in my lower back. The pressure was just right and there was never a point where it was overbearing and painful. Highly recommended! Parking and location is also a definite plus read more

This place is a GEM coz it was the best massage I have ever had in town, and I don't say that lightly! My husband and I were so amazed by their skills for the first time so we actually planned a second visit within the week for couple massage. Prior to the massage they gave us a questionnaire to fill in (e.g. where we would like the massage to target / your desirable pressure etc). The place was very clean and with the music was also nice and soothing. Getting a massage here was definitely a highlight of our trip, and got the vacation off to a good start! I loved this place and highly recommend it. read more

Really awesome massage! My masseuse worked the area that I requested for. Believe her name's Kathy, I will definitely return for another session. Place was not a problem locating. Nice and clean place with ample parking behind the building. Cash only so ask for prices as far as the desired length of time of your massage. I want to try Iris next cause I've read good reviews about her awesome massages as well. Thank u to the staff and owner for wonderful service! read more

My wife and I get a lot of massages so we really don't like striking out on a new place. We ended a long day at the mall and needed a massage. Searched and found ton of options around us. This place had great reviews so we gave it a shot. It was around 7 pm on a Saturday night and my wife and I both got in. I got Iris and my wife got Gordon. We both walked out saying how great they did. My girl barely wasted any hand movements. I like firm pressure but get annoyed when they don't know the difference between bone and muscle. Everything was done with intention. The stretching was needed, the walking on back and legs were perfect. No pinching but just the right amount of discomfort as my muscles needed it. My wife said he gave the best neck massage she has ever had. We were very happy and might go back tomorrow night. Highly recommend this place. read more

Loved the massage! Thank you so much Kama'aina! - was looking for a quick massage place near the Ala Moana since I didnt have a car but really wanted to go shopping on my vacation. Got the Lomi Lomi massage for 60 min. for $70 and they took out all of my knots in the back from sitting at a bad angle on the airplane. Service was fantastic and the owner even offered me tea before my massage! Place is super clean and staff is very welcoming. Super walkable and very affordable compared to other massage places and would definitely come back whenever I'm back in town! read more

Came in from an Australia-Singapore-Tokyo flight on the way to LA. NEEDED a quality foot massage and got way more than that. Truly excellent reflexology, as good as anywhere I've had on the planet. A gem of a find and whenever I'm in Honolulu, it's the only reflexology place I'll be going. Fantastic value and one of the best foot massages I've ever had so far. read more

I needed a serious massage without the fufu spa treatment. Had knots in my neck and shoulder, tight upper back and pain in my lower back....in other words, a mess. Made an appointment after reading the other Yelp reviews. I needed someone with strong hands, so Iris (the owner) worked on me. OMG, she is beyond strong. I was owwwing when she hit my sore points. She knows her muscles, ligaments, and tendons. She rolled me out like dough and stretched me out like a pretzel. Best massage I've had in a long time. Will definitely go back. read more

Iris was super Awesome. Called last minute &was able to be seen right away. Iris got to the root of the problem...she's very polite&professional. I walked in with very tight&tense shoulder blades &neck..but walked out a very satisfied customer. I will definitely return....Thank you Iris read more

Not your typical "fufu" massage. Walked in with extreme pinching nerve pains around my hips and legs, and walked out 95% painfree! They actually work on treating the pain issues before doing the rest of your body. Pressure was deep and just what i needed. Clean, super friendly, unique and excellent technique. Convenient by ala moana. Cant wait to go back! read more

Went here for the first time as a walk-in, which is already a plus. My masseuse was Iris and she was amazing. She really worked on the problem areas and was very strong (per my request.) The place is clean and they do have 2 designated parking stalls directly behind the business. New customers get 10% off. I'll definitely be back again :) read more

Went in because of shoulder and neck pain, resulting in daily headaches. This was my first massage ever and really didn't know what to expect. The experience was interesting....a bit painful in the beginning and quite relaxing at the end. My one hour, total body massage revealed that I had knotted muscles in several other areas. By the time I left, my headache was gone. Iris is awesome and I will definitely be returning. Thank you!!! read more
