Ahhhh-mazing! The beds at the Sheraton are not ideal. Plus I am constantly stiff in my shoulders. But this morning, I felt horrible. I started researching places to get a massage. I could have done it at the Royal Hawaiian next door, but I have found that hotel massages are usually not intense enough for me. I came up Sakura in my search. Good reviews and great prices. My son has never had a massage, so I invited him along for his first. The deep tissue was incredible. I wish I knew the name of the lady who massaged me so that I could let everyone know, but I failed to get it. Although I am still a bit stiff that is by no fault of hers, it's because I'm a mess. She even told me that I need to work less because I'm so tight in my shoulders. Haha. If only I could! She told my son to take care of me because my shoulders are too tight. My son was thrilled with the experience as well. The building has multiple massage places in it. Two on the bottom floor, but take the elevator to the 31st floor for Sakura. Do not make the mistake that we almost made going into the wrong one. I saw the sign was not Sakura and we walked back out. I'm glad I noticed. The view is awesome if you need that as well. The windows are floor to ceiling and you're high up. Parking is $4 with their validation. So worth it. Thank you!! read more

This place is weird. It was easy to make an appointment online where they take a portion of your payment. When you arrive into the building, you take a parking ticket, head up another set of elevators to the 39th floor. This is a residential building. Parking is $2 an hour and not validated. Couples massage $99 When we arrived, we took our shoes off and they led us to a room with amazing views. No one asked us what we wanted and I think English was limited. Nothing was offered afterwards like water just put shoes on and go. My massage itself was not very good. It was a combo of arm strokes and calf squeezing. Not relaxing. When we arrived there was only one girl and looked confused about why we were even there. She seemed stressed and unsure of what to do. We had booked 90-minute massages with specific add-ons, including cranial sacral therapy, but it quickly became clear they didn't understand what we were asking for. They put my father, sister, and me all in the same room instead of giving us separate rooms . We finally had my father in another room. During my massage, the therapist rubbed my head so hard it was painful and nothing like cranial sacral therapy. I eventually had to ask him to stop. My sister's therapist switched mid-session. People kept coming in and out of the room. The whole setup felt unprofessional, and almost like the staff were living there. Overall, the experience was confusing, bizarre, and did not reflect what was advertised. The view was beautiful. read more

How can you not get a massage when you are in Hawaii? After endlessly searching on yelp we finally came down to our choices. It seems like most of these massage spots in Waikiki are either from the same business or they are all just generally located in the same area. We went with Sakura massage based on the reviews and it looked like an awesome time. At first it was a bit questionable and one of the employees was texting us directions and meeting spots. She took us all the way upstairs in a building which turned into a full on massage parlor. It was cool because I called like an hour before and they accommodated a last minute couples massage. We walked into the room and were immediately in awe. The view was amazing, top floor and you could see all of Waikiki. It was a cool sight to see even though we were faced down majority of the times haha. A big shout out to Lisa and Nicole who were our masseuses. They both did an outstanding job. We have never felt so relaxed in a massage. We didn't even tell them what we wanted as far as comfort level. It was a perfect mix of deep tissue + relaxed movements. Every inch of our body was covered. I'm talking about from head down all the way to the toes. I wanted to pay extra to stay another 30 minutes after the massage. That's how good we felt. Getting a massage here was supposed to be one of my highlights so I could relax. I made my appointment online for a pre-natal massage. They require you to pay a 30% deposit when you book online. I received a call and text from the place about instructions on how to get there and to confirm the appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted, asked to take my shoes off, and the staff seemed a bit confused or unorganized about my appointment. The gal had to confirm with her boss that I paid the deposit and what kind of massage I was coming in for. I thought they would have known. I had a male massage me, and it felt alright. I asked for more pressure, and he delivered. I did leave feeling better than I arrived. I believe the service from the staff did it for me. The nice thing is that they are open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM so that helps for someone who has a very busy life and needs flexible days and times to work around their schedule. Parking fee in the Century Center is $2.00 and the staff will text/call you ahead of time with the specific reserved parking stalls where you can park your vehicle, and I was greeted and escorted by one of the ladies upon arrival to the lobby and elevator that takes you up to their offices on the 39th floor. I have been to other places that do massages (for medical reasons), but wanted to try someplace different and I was very satisfied with their services on my first visit in November 2024. Certainly plan on being back the next time I need a massage to rejuvenate my body! They do take walk-ins based on availability, but I would recommend calling their telephone number to book an appointment beforehand (or you could try online, but I ran into some errors when booking online that time). Apparently they go by your telephone number as opposed to taking your name down for their records. Don't forget to tip your massage therapist afterwards! read more
