This place is weird. It was easy to make an appointment online where they take a portion of your payment. When you arrive into the building, you take a parking ticket, head up another set of elevators to the 39th floor. This is a residential building. Parking is $2 an hour and not validated. Couples massage $99 When we arrived, we took our shoes off and they led us to a room with amazing views. No one asked us what we wanted and I think English was limited. Nothing was offered afterwards like water just put shoes on and go. My massage itself was not very good. It was a combo of arm strokes and calf squeezing. Not relaxing. When we arrived there was only one girl and looked confused about why we were even there. She seemed stressed and unsure of what to do. We had booked 90-minute massages with specific add-ons, including cranial sacral therapy, but it quickly became clear they didn't understand what we were asking for. They put my father, sister, and me all in the same room instead of giving us separate rooms . We finally had my father in another room. During my massage, the therapist rubbed my head so hard it was painful and nothing like cranial sacral therapy. I eventually had to ask him to stop. My sister's therapist switched mid-session. People kept coming in and out of the room. The whole setup felt unprofessional, and almost like the staff were living there. How can you not get a massage when you are in Hawaii? After endlessly searching on yelp we finally came down to our choices. It seems like most of these massage spots in Waikiki are either from the same business or they are all just generally located in the same area. We went with Sakura massage based on the reviews and it looked like an awesome time. At first it was a bit questionable and one of the employees was texting us directions and meeting spots. She took us all the way upstairs in a building which turned into a full on massage parlor. It was cool because I called like an hour before and they accommodated a last minute couples massage. We walked into the room and were immediately in awe. The view was amazing, top floor and you could see all of Waikiki. It was a cool sight to see even though we were faced down majority of the times haha. A big shout out to Lisa and Nicole who were our masseuses. They both did an outstanding job. We have never felt so relaxed in a massage. We didn't even tell them what we wanted as far as comfort level. It was a perfect mix of deep tissue + relaxed movements. Every inch of our body was covered. I'm talking about from head down all the way to the toes. I wanted to pay extra to stay another 30 minutes after the massage. That's how good we felt. Getting a massage here was supposed to be one of my highlights so I could relax. I made my appointment online for a pre-natal massage. They require you to pay a 30% deposit when you book online. I received a call and text from the place about instructions on how to get there and to confirm the appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted, asked to take my shoes off, and the staff seemed a bit confused or unorganized about my appointment. The gal had to confirm with her boss that I paid the deposit and what kind of massage I was coming in for. I thought they would have known. I had a male massage me, and it felt alright. I asked for more pressure, and he delivered. I did leave feeling better than I arrived. I believe the service from the staff did it for me. Man. I will NEVER book with this place again. First they told me to call to make an appointment and mention the Groupon. When I called and mentioned it the woman on the phone was talking over me yelling about how they have better deals than Groupon. I told her I've already bought it then she asked me to screenshot it and text it to her. I did it but it felt weird. So when we got there and walked in. There was a lot of people seemingly leaving and the staff seemed confused and anxious. I presented the Groupon upon arrival and they kept staring at it and yelling back and forth in thier native language. I'm not sure if they were talking about the Groupon or my wife and I. It was very strange and uncomfortable. They made us take our shoes off as well while we waited. After a few minutes of waiting. We were asked to put them back on and follow two employees downstairs because they were "full" upstairs. This was a red flag for me because I booked the room with the view. They took us downstairs and around the corner to some dark fairy creepy place. I was getting a bit nervous and annoyed because the lady who we followed down got really bossy. There were no pleasantries or anything. Just a lot of "Go over there!" "Sit down!" While hitting my arm or leg. Not a lot of manners at all. IMO massages are supposed to be relaxing but it didn't feel like it. It feel like a big bait and switch. While the massage was happening there was a lot of back and forth with the door opening and constant talking between them and the people outside of the door. My wife dozed off once but I felt uncomfortable and was on high alert. When it was over I Venmo the tip the woman kept yelling the amount of money as if it wasn't enough. Even though they offered us water it wasn't like a bottle or cucumber water it was very small paper cup. Damn near a shot glass. Do not recommend. Would not go. read more

The nice thing is that they are open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM so that helps for someone who has a very busy life and needs flexible days and times to work around their schedule. Parking fee in the Century Center is $2.00 and the staff will text/call you ahead of time with the specific reserved parking stalls where you can park your vehicle, and I was greeted and escorted by one of the ladies upon arrival to the lobby and elevator that takes you up to their offices on the 39th floor. I have been to other places that do massages (for medical reasons), but wanted to try someplace different and I was very satisfied with their services on my first visit in November 2024. Certainly plan on being back the next time I need a massage to rejuvenate my body! They do take walk-ins based on availability, but I would recommend calling their telephone number to book an appointment beforehand (or you could try online, but I ran into some errors when booking online that time). Apparently they go by your telephone number as opposed to taking your name down for their records. Don't forget to tip your massage therapist afterwards! read more

Simply call to make a reservation, and they'll confirm with a text providing parking and location information. They also call prior to your appointment and have met us in the lobby. It pains me to write this review.This was my favorite place for a foot massage in town. They were the best and I always took out-of-town guests to them. I recommend them to my friends and coworkers. I went to them about every other month and always left feeling great What happened? I don't know. When I arrived, there appeared to be only three people working at a normally busy afternoon when many massage therapists were present. I initially booked a foot massage over the phone. On the way over, I thought I would treat myself and get a body massage and a foot massage. I inquired if they had time to do that and they were available. So far so good! It went downhill from there. The lady who gave me a 90 minute body/foot massage was not competent. It was evident she did not have any training. There was no methodology in the sequence of the massage. She did not do my arms while laying on my back. There were times when she was massaging my toes she would pause as if she was falling asleep. She kept repeating the same strokes to pass the time. She was probably doing the best she could, but lacked the training to do a good job. It is a shame this once wonderful place is not what it was. My friends and I booked a massage at Sakura Massage, choosing this place for its convenient location (a central point for all of us) and reasonable prices. They have a flyer that explains where to park, but I must say the parking ramp was a bit tricky to find. I was waiting in one of the reserved stall when a lady approached me. She ended up escorting me to the massage place. I'm glad she did since that too was a little tricky to find. A helpful note: If you park above ground level, the parking elevator and the building elevator are not the same. The massage studio is on the 39th floor, and once you arrive, you're greeted by welcoming staff. My girlfriends and I booked a couples massage, and the view from the room was stunning. During the massage, they covered my eyes, but I would have preferred if they had just closed the curtains. My masseuse, Amanda, used medium pressure, which felt a bit firm (though maybe I'm just sensitive!), but overall, I really enjoyed the experience. I also found it interesting that she used different oils for each area she massaged. I was initially worried about parking prices, but as we were leaving, the staff mentioned to us that parking should only be $2--and if it wasn't, they even said to call their boss! For a simple, relaxing massage, I would go back. However, if you're looking for a full luxury hotel spa experience, this isn't the place for that.
