After trying a few different places on Oahu, I finally found MY skin clinic! I usually get medical procedures done in Korea a couple of times a year, but decided I needed a home-based option for more consistent and frequent treatments. I get PicoSure laser treatments for hyperpigmentation with Paulina, and Botox with Dr. Foo for both aesthetic and medical needs (TMJ and migraines). Adam at the front desk is always so friendly, and I really appreciate how transparent they are with their pricing. I love their VIP plans. The membership fee essentially loads money into a wallet that accumulates until you're ready to come in, which makes budgeting for treatments really easy. Highly recommend Paulina and Dr. Foo for your anti-aging skin routine! read more

Best med spa on the island, hands down. Doctor-led, incredibly knowledgeable staff, and results that speak for themselves. Natural, beautiful, and always a luxury experience. 10/10. I get all my services done here. From Botox, facials, liquid IVs, love this med spa! read more

Jillian is very knowledgeable, helpful and sweet! The office is clean and staff is very welcoming and helpful. They sell the best sunscreen ( I'm basically outdoors and in the water everyday) this stuff works. They have this high tech machine called the Aura that takes pictures of your face on different level and boy it blew my mind what it could see. Visit went very smooth. Thank you Jillian and Aloha Aesthetics. Highly recommend. read more

Highly recommend this Med Spa, Dr. Foo and his staff! I have had multiple treatments including GLP1 shots, Pico laser, Chemical peel, Tox (Juveau), and most recently Morpheus8. At this point I have had interactions with every staff member and they are all so positive and kind. I have a very low tolerance for pain... a baby if you will. Dr. Foo always checks in with me and the staff always takes their time numbing me, answering any questions I have and calming my nerves. I have had such great results with my weight loss, I am now working on lifting and tightening with Morpheus8 while the Pico laser is helping to break up all my sunspots. It is definitely an investment, but I can see a difference and my friends ask what I'm doing so I know it's working. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. read more

Initially, I was a bit nervous and apprehensive since I had never done any type of treatment on my face or body before. Because of this, I took a long time researching different businesses, their services, and customer testimonials before deciding on Aloha Aesthetics MD. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming and friendly staff immediately put me at ease and helped my initial anxiety disappear. During my consultation with Dr. Foo, he impressed me with his knowledge, professionalism, and patience. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure all of my questions were answered, which gave me complete confidence moving forward. For my treatment, we decided that microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) would be the best option. The entire process--from drawing blood to numbing my face to the actual procedure--was seamless and comfortable. I felt so well taken care of that I found myself already looking forward to my next visit before the session was even over. It's been about two weeks since my procedure, and I can already see a noticeable improvement in my complexion. In fact, two people have complimented my skin without even knowing I had anything done! As Dr. Foo mentioned, results take up to six weeks to fully appear, and of course, they vary from person to person. I plan to do 3-4 sessions to maximize the benefits. If you're considering this, I highly recommend committing to at least three treatments to get the full effect. A huge thank you to Dr. Foo, the Foo family, and the wonderful staff at Aloha Aesthetics MD for making this such a positive and reassuring experience! read more

I would highly recommend Aloha Aesthetic .... It is the best investment I have made towards my health. The staffs are so awesome, they make you feel like family. Dr. Foo and Ayaka are amazing they meet you where you are at when it comes to your health. Prior to coming to them, I have spent so much money on diets and professional trainers but my weight just will not go down. Until Dr. Foo was able to get to the core and worked with me from there. He listened to my concerns with my health and what my overall health goals are and worked with me. Aloha Aesthetics MD staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. Dr. Foo explained everything clearly and provided options without any pressure, making the experience comfortable. I chose the MORPHEUS8 package (three sessions) and Exosome treatments. Jillian is awesome, she ensured I was comfortable and guided me through each step. Dr. Foo checked in during the procedure, adding a personal touch. Results: less sagging on my neck, fewer wrinkles, and diminished sunspots after the first session. I'm looking forward and excited for continued improvements after my second and third session. read more

Dr. Foo and RN Waka were great! They had awesome advice and were time efficient while still delivering the best care! I talked to them about payment plans and they set me up with a membership with great benefits, and the money I pay for the membership can go towards my future treatments, and I get a discount on them. As someone who is going to grad school for my doctorates, Dr. Foo went out of his way to also help me find a preceptor. Really awesome and friendly staff, I have nothing negative to say about them. read more

I just did the salt facial at aloha aesthetics md and it was the best facial I have ever done! It was truly a whole luxurious experience. My skin looks and feels incredible. I have very sensitive skin and usually certain facials and skincare products irritate my face, but the salt facial gently exfoliated, cleaned, and hydrated my skin so nicely. I have the most beautiful glow and complexion. I loved the collagen booster LED add-on at the end I can already notice an improvement in my skin texture. I will definitely be getting these facials monthly now I highly recommend it. Thank you Ayaka, Dr. Foo, Courtney, and team for making me feel so welcome at Aloha Aesthetics MD read more

read more

I initially scheduled myself to see a dermatologist but I'm so glad they popped up on my Instagram feed! I called first to get some information and Ayaka San was soooo sweet and helpful! She was even sweeter in person! Procedure was a bit painful than I thought but ayaka San made some adjustments and made sure I was comfortable. Dr foo was also very informative, and patient. I Can't wait to go back for my second treatment! read more

I have microbladed brows from 2017 when the fad was really in. Although I like the shape of my brows at the time (and still do), I think my preference has changed. I now prefer a more natural look with a less pronounced arch/tail because I think it looks more youthful. Please keep in mind this review is about the Picosure laser, not the Picoway laser. I recently learned about the Picosure laser and I wasn't entirely sure if I wanted to get it done. After doing some research, I called a different dermatology office/med spa (that I will not disclose) that was charging ~$150 just for the consultation---all for something I wasn't entirely sure about getting in the first place. The free consultation and the good reviews is what led me to make an appointment with Aloha Aesthetics. (I think the free consultation might be a limited time offer). The Aloha Aesthetics office's lobby is located in Doctors of Waikiki. They validate parking for 1 hour in the Sheraton Princess Ka'iulani's lot. Consultation/Procedure: Ayaka and Dr. Foo were very knowledgeable on the Picosure laser, answered all of my questions, and were really patient. They seemed very genuine and also were very clear about the expectations that comes with the laser. I appreciated that they emphasized realistic expectations multiple times. According to Dr. Foo, the Picosure laser usually requires multiple sessions that are 3 months apart. They sell the treatment in different packages, such as one treatment, a bundle of 3, and a bundle of 5. I felt comfortable getting the treatment done the same day as my consultation. They use numbing on my brows and the laser feels like little rubber band snaps. It felt similar to laser hair removal. Overall, the procedure was relatively quick. Immediately Post-procedure: After the procedure, my brows were significantly lighter. Dr. Foo says the initial whiteness is called "frosting"; after googling pictures of frosting, I don't think it was that. He said the color will get darker and will fade after 3 weeks. A minimal part of my brow hair did get bleached (but not the whole strand) from the laser. It sounds scarier than it actually is--it honestly kind of looks like I put a tiny bit of q-tip fuzz on my brows and can be fixed with a makeup brow tint. Ayaka said that this is normal and the hair will naturally fall out and my normal brow color will come back. It doesn't really bother me because they told me this expectation before the procedure. Because it takes a while for the pigment to fade, I probably won't see true results till 3 months-post-laser. I am looking forward to seeing how the brows pigment will fade! Thank you Aloha Aesthetics! read more

Just got my first session of the Picosure Pro here after my initial consultation a couple months ago! Initial consulation: Ayaka was very knowledgeable on the treatments and recommendations for my skin and skin goals. Dr. Foo came in after, confirmed the treatments and elaborated further. I decided to come in for my actual Picosure Pro treatment a couple months later but during my initial consultation I had about 3 pimples on my face. The hormonal acne ones where it was deep under my skin, big, and painful. They suggested getting the acne shots which I did not know even existed! I wish I had known because these helps get rid of those stubborn acne which usually takes months to go away but after the shots, they went a way in 3-5 days. Picosure Pro: They put on numbing cream so the procedure wouldn't be as painful. You leave it on for about 20 mins and the procedure itself is about 20 mins. (Thank goodness for the numbing cream!) Ayaka did my procedure and was very attentive and communicative throughout. She would ask me if the areas targeted during the session were my sensitive/painful spots and even went over the areas of my concern more thoroughly. I had a picosure procedure done at another dermatologist office before and there was absolutely not communication. I just remember wishing that it was over so I really appreciated the communication throughout. Would totally recommend Aloha Aesthetics to anyone wanting to improve and achieve their skin goals. read more

For years I had been really insecure about how drastically developing lupus had changed my lips. I'm not against the beauty of aging, but the constant sun rash above my lip, before getting properly diagnosed, went on for years, leaving me with scarred skin that went into my lips, causing an uneven lip line, and a smaller upper lip. I hated my lips, and what lupus did to them, it was my one insecurity, I felt like it aged me and left me with a snarl. On my first visit I went in for a lip flip, and was considering getting the 11 lines fixed, but wasn't too concerned about wrinkles. When the doctor asked if I ever get migraines as a result from lupus, and then informed me that it might reduce my migraines, I was in it to win it, I rarely went a day without a migraine at that point! I have since gone from chronic migraines, to only having one in 6 weeks. The lip flip was step one in getting my lips back, and I love the results! Snarl is gone, my gums look better, and I love my smile again. Pricing is affordable, and worth it! I ended up going in again, for filler, once my other doctor informed me that it was okay, as long as I didn't get it done during a lupus flare up. I'm so happy with the results, and I had no issues whatsoever. I have my lips back, and then some! I love the team, they were so understanding of my situation, and caring throughout, they treat you as if you are family, while accompanying to your individual needs. The office is comfortable, professional, and clean. Parking is easy. I am so glad I invested in myself, I feel beautiful again! I highly recommend! read more
