My appointment was with Islah, very friendly and kind. She helped with me the registration process, thoroughly went through my health background then explained about the style of massage. I've been looking for a massage therapist that uses the technique that this facilities utilized but it been hard to find one. Came back for a 2nd session since I came back from a mainland trip last week. I knew my muscles were tight. Mami did my 15 minute cavitation on my back/shoulder, arms and legs. Mina did the rest of massage and stretches. Got stretched more due to coming back from a trip on an airplane, felt like I could stretch my body a little more than last time thanks to Mina. Also got advice on stretching my hips that are also tight. I have been here three times and I always leave happy and so relaxed! I have really bad tension in my shoulder and upper back and Mami and Her team always does such a great job. Their service is top notch and what you would expect if you were in Japan! Their massage is a bit different compared to the normal but they incorporate a lot of stretching and they focus on lymphatic drainage. The full body massage is great plus they do a face massage with lymphatic drainage so your face looks snatched! At the end they always give complimentary hot tea. Im pretty picky when it comes to massages, usually the technician doesnt massage firm enough or Im left feeling more in pain than when I came. Yuko was everything I could ask for. Shes a tiny little lady but dont let her size fool you. Shes extremely strong and efficient. My poor body has been through so much, but Yuko was able to work through years of bad posture, standing for 8+ hours and carrying back to back pregnancies. After one session I feel really good. This massage experience is unlike others I have tried, and in a good way! My masseuse really listened to me when I was explaining areas of concern, and made sure to focus on the areas I mentioned. She manipulated my neck and shoulders by placing me in different positions and using repetitive pressure to get my muscles to release tension and pain. She also realized that some of my pain was coming from right hips, and worked on getting release there as well. I walked out feeling inches taller and so much lighter in my neck and head.
