I've been a customer here for nearly 10 years, but stopped patronizing recently. However, on my recent visit I had to change the masseuse 3 times due to poor skill level and finally gave up after the 3rd person was terrible as well. The owner didn't seem to care that the staff including the primary instructor turnover was so high, and as a result no remaining employees were sufficiently skilled. When asking the owner for good masseuse recommendations over the years, her answer is always "everyone here is good". The truth is only 1 or 2 workers are worth visiting at any given time Additionally, the owner's husband is usually grumpy and rude, so there was little reason to continue giving this place more chances. He often points at customers when checking out and says "hey you need to add tip!" despite customers not even having completed checkout. Yes, he even says it to me after 10 years, knowing I typically tip 35% or more.

I left a voicemail and he called me back the same day. He was able to see me the next morning. It was easy to find with my GPS. It was quaint, relaxing, and decorated very posh. I quietly waited on the plush comfy sitting area while Brandon was finishing up with a Client. After he was done he gave me his full attention. He joined me in the sitting area to get to know me and assess why I was seeking treatment. I really appreciated the time he took to explain his history, background and how he helps heal many people. It was time to begin. The room I was assigned to was very clean with soft tranquil sounds. He allowed me the time I needed to prepare for treatment then came back and began. When I head for my seat I notice there is a chilled bottle of water waiting for me.....just what I needed. We go thru a series of questions, he checks my pulse and tongue. He explains the things that I am experiencing from his exam and is point right on with everything. Amazing. The treatment room has a hint of lavender scent with easy music playing. This really helped to make me feel calm and comfortable. James gives his instructions and leaves the room for preparation. I get massaged twice a month for this pinch nerve in my upper left back that I have had for 3 months now. I have been mixing deep tissue, lomi lomi, Thai. This has helped in maintaining it from getting worse but seems to come back after a few weeks. My sister recommended cupping with James. I am so happy that I listened to her and came in for treatment. James starts with some pressure point massage then into the cupping. Wow! What a different feeling, massage is pushing down and this is pulling up. It feels like blood is able to flow in places that it needs to go for optimum healing. He left them on for 8 minutes. I fell asleep as next thing I knew he was back in the room. James coupled my cupping with acupuncture. I didn't even feel the needles as they were being placed. James, the acupuncturist, was friendly and knew what he was doing. He was able to tell me what was going on with my body just by looking at my tongue and listening to my pulse from my wrist (something that true Eastern medicine practitioners do). He wanted to combine cupping (using "cups" and fire to release negative energy and such from the body) and accupuncture however I have really sensitive skin and did not want to have the red marks all over my back especially since I was going out that weekend, so we did the needles in my target areas - I had a pinched nerve in my neck area and some other areas to help relieve other things. Afterwards I felt really relaxed and my pinched nerve was no longer there and I was really glad that I took care of it before it got really bad and that James knew what he was doing and targeted the right areas.
