Amazing service! Initially I was afraid to try acupuncture for the first time but I'm so glad I did. You barely feel the needle. It's not like the needles phlebotomists use to draw blood lol. Anyways, I always feel like a million bucks when I walk out. I had crazy tension in my shoulders that even my body work girl couldn't ease completely. Acupuncture helped relax my muscles and I felt better! Dr. Evan is great listener. He is always efficient. His facility is super clean and he creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Down to earth and very professional. Recommend!! read more

Dr Evan took brilliant care of my injury as well as internal organ issues that I dragged into his office lol and he did so with great patience and compassion. I am highly picky with any practitioner I see as I come from a background of many years learning and practicing Eastern Medicine myself. So I don't say it lightly, but his ability and knowledge is solid and on excellent and broad level. I'd even say he has that special healing touch as the acupressure he does is really helping too. I don't want to solve only the symptoms but go to the root cause which is exactly what Dr Evan does. The office / clinic is very welcoming, calming and clean as well which also makes a huge difference in a healing process. Highly recommended! read more

Dr Evan Murao knows the pain I have gone through And has always took the edge off the pain I have endured. Recently I have been dealing with neck pain , shoulder pain and headaches. I told him I have feel I'm a bag of rocks or stones. The two hours of deep massages ,acupuncture and cupping was worth the money. I tell you I felt so much relief my mobility and range of motion was amazing. For the past 2 months been struggling to put my hands behind my back. I was told by doctors could be rotator and shoulder problems. I know he got into the areas that were ailing me. I tell you I feel so much better and will return. All the pain is gone but I'm able to work through it. The weakness is starting to get better in my left fore arm. I'm thankful for his interceding of my pain . Mahalo Innerchi read more

I was miserable with constant nerve pain for months due to cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve in the neck). I tried just about everything from chiropractic adjustments to physical therapy but nothing seemed to make the nerve pain go away. A few friends of mine had seen Dr. Murao for other reasons and spoke very highly of his care. I was ready to try anything if it meant getting rid of the pain. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Murao within a week. Dr. Murao is nothing short of amazing. After explaining where I was feeling pain, he was able to target those areas using massage, acupuncture and cupping. He made every effort to make sure I was comfortable during the hour and a half session. Immediately after the treatment I was already feeling like the nerve pain was gone. He fixed me like Mr. Miyagi magically fixed Daniel before he won the All Valley Karate Tournament. I went back for a follow up session a week later with some minor aches in the shoulder area and he made that pain disappear too. I know exactly where to go if I need care. Thank you Dr. Murao! read more

Dr. Evan is very compassionate and listens to you. I was having some terrible lower back pain from golfing and he knew exactly where to target to get my pain minimized. I still have some work to do to make my back better. Dr. Evan is very professional and the environment in his office is so welcoming and serene. I really love the background music and scents (so calming). I would recommend Dr. Evan to anyone suffering from any type of pain read more

I was recently seen by Dr. Evan Murao for my hand/wrist. I had injured my hand and was living with excruciating pain all day long. A friend suggested I see Dr. Evan for help. It was my first time to see an Acupuncturist. I am so please with my results just after one visit. It was such a good and thorough experience. Dr. Evan explained everything and was extremely gentle. The pain in my hand/wrist subsided considerably. It almost feels back to normal. Therefore, I will follow up with him periodically, and to see his really cool office again too! :) read more

This was my first visit and I was more than pleased with everything. I've had shingles for the last five weeks. I came in to see what could be done about the continual pain and discomfort. Well, it's the third day and Evan did tell me that it might take a couple days to feel a difference and now I really do. Any reduction of pain is much welcomed and I can see I'm turning a corner. I will have a few more sessions and now feel very hopeful. I wasn't feeling all that hopeful before as the pain and discomfort was just not changing for the better. I highly recommend Inner Chi even it's just been one session. He's also a great guy, knows his stuff, he really cares, and you'll feel very comfortable. The needles didn't hurt at all. Oh, and what a nice office and great view! read more

I am forever grateful to Dr. Evan for helping me out with some vertigo I was dealing with. This was my first time trying acupuncture/acupressure and I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Evan explained everything thoroughly and immediately made me feel at ease. I left each appointment feeling so much relief. He helped me find the root of the problem and put me on the path to recovery. He's such a cool guy with really good energy! I'm back home in LA and I'm wishing I could set up more appointments! It was my first time getting acupuncture and I had an amazing experience with Dr. Murao. He listened to my concerns and helped me get to my goal. I came in thinking it would be just acupuncture but he also did other modalities such as massage, cupping and percussive massage. His price is very reasonable and I think he's underpriced with all the services he provides during my visit. I've paid over $100 for cupping and scrapping from another person and Dr. Murao only charged me $65 for initial visit with all the services he provides. read more

I've been to a number of different massage therapists and acupuncturists, but this is the first time I've had both modalities integrated in the same visit, and the results are nothing short of mind-blowing. Evan takes the time to focus on any complaints (and even ones I didn't mention) and by the end of the session, I am so relaxed that nothing can ruin my zen buzz. He's definitely worth the price of admission for the massage alone! Highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Murao! read more

Aloha nui! This review is for Evan and his outstanding knowledge and professionalism! I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the arts of healing by massage and pressure points, with acupuncture and cupping. I was in a really bad funk, felt out of alignment, no motivation and quite down depressed. Before during and after, Evan and I talked, about what areas were bothering me, about life and about his practice. The massage and pressure points were melting my discomfort away, cupping got the blood flowing again and acupuncture opened up my chi flow. I felt great and definently will be scheduling another appointment! Mahalo Braddah Evan read more

I highly recommend Dr. Murao. He treated my mom several times in home visits because she was more comfortable there. She was reluctant to try acupuncture but ended up loving the way it made her knee feel better and how relaxed she felt. I also went to Dr. Murao for my first treatment recently and am looking forward to going back! He made me very comfortable and I was able to fully relax. He was very professional and intuitive about what I needed. He is also very skilled and I truly cares about his patients. If you're on the fence, try a visit with him. I think you'll be glad you did! A few bonuses are that his office space is very inviting and his table is the most comfortable I've ever experienced. Add that to the amazing sound sytem and beautiful lighting he has, and you'll feel the relaxing vibe from the moment you step inside. The views of Diamond Head are amazing too! read more

If you are looking for an acupuncturist who is willing to travel to you, look no further than Evan Murao. On first impression Evan kind, and immediately put me at ease. I was a little nervous because I hadn't had acupuncture before, but as soon as I met him, I knew I could trust him. He started with a wonderful massage to loosen my muscles, and then cupped the area I needed help with. The cupping was then followed by acupuncture, which was not in the least bit painful. I felt immediate relief in my painful tennis elbow. . Evan is also a qualified counselor, and so has one of the best "bedside" manners I have ever encountered in a health practitioner. I live on the North Shore and truly appreciated that Evan was willing to come and work on me in my home. I would highly recommend him! read more

What a great experience with Dr. Evan. He has a great energy and is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. My visit was for body and muscle soreness from the Spartan race. Evan has treated me several times for different issues that I've had. The first time was for chronic knee pain that I was living with for years because I had injured it. He took the time to talk about what treatment was going to be done and educated me as well during the process! After my first treatment, I was able to bend my knee without pain. I never had so much relief in my life! Just a few days ago, I tore both of my calf muscles and It was extremely painful to the point that I could barely even stand up without wanting to cry. Evan worked on me for almost 2 hours and my pain decreased tremendously! I was able to walk without limping and being in pain. Just a day after a treatment session, the pain is almost completely gone. I recommend him to anyone who needs pain relief, rejuvenation or even an energy boost. Evan is extremely empathetic and really takes the time to sit with his patients, listens to them and tends to their needs. He is very knowledgeable and gentle with his patients as well! read more

I had knee surgery just over 4 months ago. That's been making my lower back suffer more than usual. My job is physical so I understand. Today I woke up with my knee really sore but my lower back reached a level of pain I haven't had in a very long time. Not only did Evan make himself available but he came to my house, because it was to painful for me to make it to him. By the time Evan was done with me, he allowed me to have alot more range in my back, relieved pressure in my knee, and lowered my pain levels tremendously!! I highly recommend Evan!! He really pays attention to your body and he seriously brought my energy levels up. I'm so happy with the treatment that I recieved. I will be be coming back to Evan to trust him with my healing. read more
