It was really easy to make an appointment via text and phone. Initially it was only be for two but the next morning we added on two more pedicures and they were very accommodating to all the changes! The prices were very reasonable. I paid $75 for my manicure ($25 manicure, $45 gel french tip, $5 nail fix) and my pedicure was $37 for a basic. The new salon is brand new and everything is very clean. Ruby did my pedicure and Alex did my manicure. They were extremely busy while we were there but it seemed like it ran really smoothly. Everyone was pleasant enough but not much talking and it did feel a little rushed at times but also understanding that they were trying to accommodate all 4 of us on short notice. Ruby cut slightly too deep into the side of my left big toe and she apologized but it was very noticeable swollen and painful the next day compared to my other toe so that's not ideal. She was very meticulous with the polish application though! Alex did a great job with my deep french manicure. He was very quick and efficient with putting on an acrylic tip onto my thumb that was shorter than the rest of my nails. He was careful to not have the gel touch my skin and seemed to be the go-to for frenchies. The girl working the front desk didn't seem to be in a good mood. I don't usually mind but she was very short with her responses and not particularly nice or helpful when I asked a few questions regarding the pricing and point system. There is plenty of street parking available and it was easy to find. They're very popular so expect to be a slight wait and it's definitely a more sterile and clinically run salon than a welcoming one. I love coming here!!!! The people are always nice. Service is always great 10/10 recommend. I usually call to schedule my appointment and then they'll confirm via text message text. Ive been to their old location which was great but parking was sometimes a challenge. However, i always found parking since I usually book my appt at the end of the day so parking is usually free! Now at their new location I was able to find parking right away. But not sure if it's always like that. Street parking is 2 hour free parking so that's good. I usually like to get the Royal deluxe with the fruity scrub. All the scrubs are good here tbh, just whatever you're in the mood for. It's always poppin in here though! Super crazy busy so I'm glad I was able to get an appointment when it's not too busy but the customers keep coming so that's good to see. I had the BEST experience at Gradient Nail in Hawaii and I just had to share. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. Lily (the owner!) did my pedicure, and I didn't even realize she was the owner until the end because she was just so humble and sweet. I usually stick to short gel manicures and play it safe, but for Valentine's Day I wanted something a little different. I told her I wanted longer nails but hate when they look thick. She suggested Gel-X and let me tell you -- these nails are strong, thin, and PERFECT. Exactly what I like. I almost went with my usual light pink, but Diane encouraged me to go bold with red for Valentine's Day -- and I'm so glad she did. The cat-eye gel she used is absolutely stunning. It glistens in the light and has this gorgeous 3D, glittery red effect that shifts depending on how the light hits it. She even surprised me with a beautiful heart design on my ring finger. I was so happy! I've been clicking and clacking ever since Valentine's Day. I also have to shout out Elaine at the front desk -- she is SUCH a vibe. So funny, so welcoming, and full of personality. She immediately knew who I was (my boyfriend made the appointment) even though it was my first time there. She made me feel like a regular and even signed me up for their rewards system. And she actually helped me choose my toe color! I initially planned on doing red on my toes too, but I noticed her Alpine white pedicure and it looked SO clean and beautiful. I complimented her on it, and she helped me decide to go with that same crisp white instead. I'm so glad I did -- it came out perfect. Little moments like that made the experience feel personal and fun. The vibe here is unmatched. It honestly feels like the female version of a really good barbershop -- great energy, great people, and top-tier quality. I live in LA and I'm telling you, I haven't had a better nail experience than this. That says a lot. I usually stay at Hilton Hawaiian Village when I visit and have tried salons nearby in the past (since I'm not local), and I haven't always had great experiences. I was at a friend's house nearby and had a nail emergency ... one of my nails had partially broken / cracked. Did a quick Yelp search and found that this spot was nearby. With just a couple of hours before our dinner reservation, I called to see if they could get me in. Luckily they could squeeze me in but were very upfront that it would be a polish change and they didn't have time for a full manicure or any sort of design. Beggars can't be choosers -- so I was okay with that. I gave myself some extra time to park and find the nail salon since I've never been before and I'm glad that I did. I thought it was in the same parking lot as Yogurstory / the old Likelike Drive-in but it's actually closer to the Pagoda hotel on Rycroft St. Walking in and this place was packed with people getting manicures and pedicures... it's definitely a popular spot. I was seated at the station right away and got ample time to look through all the colors as my nail tech finished up with their other client. Since I had long natural nails with that one break, I opted to just cut all my nails short. I do like how my nails were cut and shaped- I swear my life got so much easier without long almond nails. Called gradient nail, they said they could fit me and my husband in for an acrylic refill and a mens basic manicure in 45 minutes. We were about ten minutes early, and were seated immediately and I was given the basket of color wheel choices for gel and polish. Prior to the service, they provide you with a "receipt," and confirm price- I absolutely love that price transparency so you're not leaving surprised or feeling overcharged. Parking in the area can be tricky so provide yourself some bumper time to find one prior to your appointment. Just wanted to share my nails here cuz vina did such a good job with the design. Got out of work early and was able to quickly make a reservation around 5pm without difficulties. Mani: $25 regular + $40 for the ombré + $10 for some top coat situation that she said would help it last longer. Overall really happy with the way to came out. I will say , one of my cuticles is often sensitive and this time it also started hurting and bled a little. But she noticed right away and told me and put antibiotic ointment on it . I think next time I just need to tell them that this specific nail bed is sensitive and it will be fine. She pays really close attention to detail and definitely wants her work to look good. Pedi: $35 + $10 to shred the callouses. I have really hard callouses and she scrubbed pretty hard to get them off. She even has me feel afterwords to make sure I was happy with it Spa treatment: not the best. The massage chair isn't great. Not powerful and doesn't really hit the right spots. And they don't really give you a massage of the calves or arms but also I got the basic treatment so maybe that's why? They do a scrub treatment at the end which was nice. Overall would go back. They write out all the cost so they are very transparent. And as others mentioned already, there is a discount if you pay cash! read more

Jenny is amazing and my forever nail tech! I started getting my nails done by her in December 2022 and each time I see her, my nails are absolutely perfect! So perfect that they last me at least 13 weeks (pic attached), with no signs of breakage or lifting. She's very personable and truly takes the time to get to know her clients to understand what they like for their nails and how they like it. May I add how quick and efficient she is too - I'm usually in and out in within an hour. P/S: I also get the best pedicures from her but my toes are gross and I don't want to post a pic of them haha 12/10 recommend her for all your manicure and pedicure needs! Nice staff. Good Service. Massage chairs are broken down, and uncomfortable, and they switched me to a chair that was more comfortable just that the massage part was broken. However, the friendliness of the staff makes it much better. Mid-Range pricing. Basic service is good. No complaints, except for the uncomfortable chairs. It's better if you can speak Vietnamese or Cantonese, as many of the staff doesn't speak much English, but you can get by with basic services. Just don't expect to converse much with the staff. They can get you in fairly quickly, with an appointment. Pedicures were decent, and I've had worse. Not spectacular, but you get what you pay for. read more

I made an appointment at Gradient Nail for fills with Gel on my hands and a Gel pedicure. Let me start by saying I was greeted as I entered the the door by Kim, one of the owners. I was directed to sit and select a color for my nails and offered a bottle of water. I didn't have long to wait as Kim was ready. I noticed her technique and product knowlege was exceptional as evidenced by the selection of nail polishes and examples of nail art and nail jewelry. I chose Orly 73 color for both hands and feet. My pedicure, I chose "Royal, which was the be all and the end all of pedi services. My technician, Ruby, was very thorough. The "Royal" included the usual pedi services but with the most aromatic exfoliants and lotions...your choice of course from a variety of selections (Eucalyptus, Jasmine, Ocean, Citrus, and etc). Callus removal, although extra, was followed by foot, ankle and leg massage. Hot lava rocks and hot towel wraps completed the service. To say I was pampered and relaxed was an understatement!.
