I love getting my nails done here. They're always able to see me even when I'm all last minute trying to book an appointment. The shop is clean & everyone is really nice. It started a couple days ago and I needed to do my nails at short notice I called left a message, and was promptly called back within one minute. Jen was really attentive to my requests on what I wanted to do . I was all over the place on choices. She assured me that if I sent her pictures on what I wanted, they could accommodate. If there was a 10 star review, I would give it just that. I have been going to this salon for years now and always get way more than I imagined possible . I don't come in like a regular customer, but when I do, they always remember me and are very attentive to my needs. There's no rush feeling or pressure to do something that I don't want. Everything is what I want. And yes I'm a bit needy. Lol. During This appointment I did have a pedicure and a manicure. Originally, I found this salon on YouTube with great reviews and when I went in the first time, I got Mia. I super love her way. She has such patience, takes pride in her work with attention to detail and full of happiness. It's super fun that everyone there has a great working relationship. Of course I don't speak Vietnamese, but I did get in some lessons. It is heartwarming when the other salon family complement each other's work. Want to mention Cindy for my awesome pedicure. Saw this place on Yelp after I finished eating at YogurStory nearby and had some time to use on the meter lol. Despite it being a Saturday, I was able to walk in and get seated within 10 min for a regular pedicure. They hand you a little menu of all the treatments you can get, and I chose the basic pedicure as I was short on time. Otherwise, I would've done the deluxe. Everything looked clean and my nail tech was great. She was meticulous and worked efficiently. My pedicure was around $35, they'll give a cash discount (tax is removed) if you have that on hand. This was my first time getting my nails done and it was a really good experience. I was so nervous beforehand but my nails came out exactly the way I wanted! It was a little difficult at first because you need to know exactly what you want to make the appointment, which makes sense so they can schedule the right people and amount of time for you. For someone who only has a photo and doesn't know what they want, it's a little harder. So I had to do my research first. They are very busy but that just shows what a good job they do. I just wanted polish but had to get gel because I wanted chrome on top. I got white gel polish with white chrome and 2 coats of hard gel on top, with oval shape. I made an appointment for a mani and pedi for my wedding. It's been a while since I've pampered myself so I decided to splurge a bit. My appointment was first made with the Deluxe Pedi and Deluxe Mani but when I walked in for my appointment, I asked if I could get the Royal Pedi and Mani. If you decide to upgrade your appointment, you should call ahead or ask prior to sitting with your nail tech to ensure they are able to accommodate your request. Not all have the availability or maybe skill set. I was fortunate to have my appointment upgraded at the last minute. First up was my pedicure. I already had some ideas in mind and when I showed Mia, she took off with it and also suggested a touch that gave it the elegant look that I was looking for. She took such great care of my request and always made sure I was comfortable with my treatment. Then came my manicure. I asked for a similar design and ended up with a French ombré hard gel. In addition to the treatment, the work and attention to color matching made by Alex was out of this world! The price matched well to the service, quality, and design received. Right from the beginning they were very accommodating and honest with my specific requests. To start, I was over 30 min early for my appointment since I was not sure of location and traffic and was prepared to wait. Even though they were busy they were able to take me early. My manicure technician, Diane, was very thorough and meticulous with my nails. I had been on the fence of Gel X extensions vs. acrylics vs. dip. I ended up getting acrylics and was very happy that I did. Diane put up with my evolving requests and gave me the most beautiful set of nails ever. My husband is actually the person who recommended we come here, based on the already 5-Stars Gradient Nails had. We were in town and we had some time to finally squeeze in our pedicures. So we wanted someone for the same day. He gave them a call and YAYHOO, they were able to put in the both of us in a couple of hours. Perfect! We requested for someone who had could give a nice leg/ foot massage, the lady on the other line, assured us that she had the right persons in mind. When we arrived it was still pretty strict with their COVID Guidelines. Ring the doorbell and they'll greet you at the door. Now, the door isn't locked and you can go in to check in. You will need to wash your hands at their sink after you check-in. They separated chairs with clear curtains and placed plastic barriers for manis. They also will wipe down the pedicure stations after each person. My go to person is Vina and she is amazing with massages and giving a nice gel pedicure. She cleans and shapes my nails nicely! The last time I visited, I had her do my gel mani since my usual girl went on vacation. I was not disappointed. Nicely shaped and she took a lot of care in cleaning my cuticles and painting. I'm so happy with them! So YES, the person who answered our call, gave us the "right person" for what we were looking for. The BEST place to treat yourself!! The only thing I'm able to do is a Pedicure with Hawaii restaurant law requiring to wear gloves it kills my nails so I take care of my feet and I LOVE getting pedicures. BAM! Holidays are here and I have to bling bling it out it's one thing that gets me excited to do my nails all in glitter. Long story short it got totally ruined sob!!! Came across here though Yelp and loved what I saw an insanely busy place that did proper COVID protocol. Waited outside as I saw Angie who managed the front taking care of several clients dashing in and out and got to me and was speechless looking at my toes lol!!! What a sweetheart I explained my situation then she went over several options and if I was okay with..uuuhh YES! Luckily they could squeeze me in with Mia my savior and had no idea what happened but listened to what I wanted and came up with the solution. Upon agreement they're completely transparent and gives you a ticket pricing for each service so there's no surprise in cost which I love. Kim and Lily run a tight ship, so no matter which technician works on your nails, if you get them done at Gradient Nail, you'll get compliments before you even walk out the door! I have been through it all with her whether it was regular nail polish, gel nails, simple color or design. Jenny is very efficient and amazing at what she does. Every reference photo I've shown her she's been able to do it even better on your nails. Not only are the designs great, but she also cleans, cut and files the nails to your liking. If you're someone that's more picky with the shape of your nails you do not have to worry with Jenny she nails it every time. I really do feel like she cares about the integrity of the nails which is vital especially if you do your nails often. If you're looking for longevity she'll recommend different products that may help with that as well. I am someone that wants my nails to LAST and my nails DO NOT chip in the slightest. I know how hard it can be to find a nail tech you trust because I was once in the same position looking on yelp and reading reviews. I found Jenny through this exact process. I saw so many great reviews with her name and I have to say she really does exceed in every way. If you're second guessing DON'T you'll have a great experience with Jenny. She's also great in massaging and I love that she takes her time in making sure the shape of my nails are perfect. It's hard to come across a nail tech that's very ocd about the nail shape. I love that Gradient nails closes late, cause with my busy working schedule it's hard to come early or mid day so I like that I come after work. Alex did my nails and he did a good job considering hasn't had any problems like another place I went in town. My pedicure was just okay not as good. I paid 130.00 total for removing my nails that had gel x, tips for a broken nail. It just look back without the polish to cover the look of my nails. My girl had my nails looking bad without anything on them bad. From the last time and I told Alex to remove everting and start over. He asked if I wanted to kelp my nails. I told him yes. The pedicure was someone I cannot remember her name. She was alittle rude at first not a 5 star rating. I asked to file my one toe nail she added 10.00 for doing that and then just Sanded the toe slightly and told me she couldn't it so alot. Wow that is what they do back at the other place and doesn't charge me. My nails on my toes look pretty beat up and I haven't done much to make them bad. This is a nice place and Alex was great my pedicure was not as good as I expected for 5 stars place. I gave her a good tip and she was much nicer. Did I look like I wouldn't tip or what? She's also great at helping me decide a color. I asked for milky white and she gave me milky white! The five stars is for Vina, but I'd give less because of my toe technician. Picking a color was hard because they were all out of stock and she didn't recommend anything good. I had a great experience as a first time guest at Gradient Nail. I was nervous to try a new salon, as the one I usually go to closes early at 5p due to COVID. I wanted an appointment after work, so I looked at Yelp and found what I think is the only 5 star nail salon in town - Gradient Nail! Luckily, they were able to accommodate my appointment that evening at 5p for a regular gel polish manicure. I usually only get manicures for special events like weddings. This time was a little different - my husband and I will be soon welcoming a baby into our lives and I wanted to treat myself to something nice after making it through the dreadful first trimester of pregnancy! I was impressed with the COVID restrictions they had in place. I could not freely enter the salon. The receptionist came out to get me and took my temperature and then sprayed my hands with alcohol. I then entered the salon and had to wash my hands in the sink. Afterwards, I was greeted my nail artist, Amy. She was quiet, but efficient and has a great eye for detail. I was able to pick a beautiful light pink gel polish. They have so many colors to choose from! She got to work right away cleaning up my nail beds, filing, and even used the electric buffer on my nails. They feel so smooth now! She painted a base coat, 3 color coats and a top coat on my nails. At first I thought she may have forgotten the hand massage portion, but to my surprise, it came after my nails dried. It was so nice to have that extra touch of pampering! I really enjoyed it was able to relax. The quality of the manicure is very good. I even saw a sign that if something goes wrong with your gel manicure within 10 days, you can call them and they will fix it. Wow! Never heard of that before! I'm glad I brought cash to tip, because apparently you cannot tip on card. Phew! My total without tip including tax was $43. Pricey, but worth the service and quality! My friend recommended I come here to get my birthday nails done. I made a 12pm mani pedi appointment for the Monday before my birthday. When I got there, they had me sit on a chair and wait for the technician to come and do my toes. I sat there for almost 30 minutes before someone finally showed up. Pedi- I chose the deluxe pedi and added the $5 callus removal. It was a mediocre pedi. My feet massage was more like rubbing, no pressure or anything. My callus removal, I'm not sure what they removed, but is it possible to have your feet come out more rough than when you went in? The older lady also cut into my toe during the cuticle removal which really stung once I stuck my feet back into the water (still stings a week later). The only thing I really enjoyed was the hot towel and water temperature. Mani- for some reason, they gave me a second technician for my mani? She was another older lady, but was very nice. I showed her a picture of what I wanted- a simple design with glitter tips. She got the design pretty spot on and the color does look nice, but for what I paid, I don't think this was worth $82 for the design I wanted. In total, I paid $20 for the deposit, then $132 at the counter for a total of $152 (not including the 20% tip). Pricey for the what I wanted and the service was just ok. They didn't really talk to me or anything. Just silently did their work which I didn't really mind.
