I'm very sad to write this review. I truly dislike writing about my negative experiences. My nail tech was pretty rough and would turn my hand and fingers without a word into awkward positions and her nails would dig into my fingers. I thought she did an ok job, but a couple days after getting dip powder done my pink nails started fading into clear and white ish almost tie dye colors. The salon didn't feel clean or comfortable either. Parking was really hard to find too. It was my first time here and as I paid they said I had to leave a tip in cash. I told them I didn't have any cash and that I didn't know they only took cash. It was awkward and a bit stressful since of the language barrier my nail tech didn't fully understand. I asked if she could do Zelle or Apple Pay. They said no. And I said I'm sorry. But it felt like they wouldn't let me leave until I left a tip. So another nail tech got involved and it was like a 3 way award tension or none of us knowing what to do. Eventually I felt like I had to find a way to tip so another nail tech eventually had me Apple Pay her. Both the nail tech were not thankful for my cooperation and just visually looked annoyed and frustrated at me. But I truly felt very pressured and uncomfortable by this. If they require a tip and require a cash tip they should have explicitly put that in the booking instructions and notified me before confirming the appointment. I really didn't like this experience overall and especially didn't like feeling like I was corned and couldn't leave until a tip. It was a really disappointing first experience of getting my nails done here. read more

Sang is amazing. She is so caring and does everything with thoughtfulness. Her pedis are very clean and last long. I do the organic pedi sometimes because I want to treat myself once in a while. Feels luxurious. But the regular pedi is great and more affordable. read more

Get your hands and feet pamper with Blissful Nails & Spa. They are conveniently located in Kaimuki. You can either park on the street or in the lot. There's a maximum time of 1-hour so you'll have to set an alarm to prevent yourself from getting a ticket ;) It's a cute little nails spa but definitely can fit 6 customers at a time. It'll just be a little crowded. The place has its own bathroom which is a plus! If you need a pedicure, ask for Oanh. She's the best in cleaning and massaging your tired feet! For hands, you can set up an appointment with Sang or Pham. Thank you for reading my review. Have a great Monday! read more

I had a great experience here! Sang was so thorough and very kind :) honestly quickest nail service I've ever had but it didn't feel rushed whatsoever. She took her time and did exactly what I wanted. 10/10 would recommend :) pricing is very decent compared to other nail salons in the area! read more

First of all, just to make sure you find this place, it's easy to miss, located on the first floor of a bright green apartment building, next to Verbano. You'll find a cramped space with 3 pedicure stations and 3 manicure stations. They seem to make it work but I'd recommend calling ahead since it's such a small space. And yet, even though I called ahead, they took me immediately after I walked in the door, even though they didn't confirm whether or not I had an appointment. While that bodes well for walk-ins, I would have had to wait had someone else walked in before me even though I had an appointment. Still, I received pretty good service there, in that i got exexactly what I paid for, which is a steal, by the way. They have some of the best rates I've seen. For those who are expecting to have a typical relaxing experience where your nail specialist attends to you l? I'd recommend going and learning the names of the different specialists. For example, the customer next to me was offered water when she arrived. Me? No. So definitely not consistent service. It also felt rushed and the specialist made absolutely no eye contact with me. I just needed to remind myself that they offer really good rates to prevent from feeling disappointed. I don't think I'll return though. read more

I haven't gotten my nails done at the nail salon in years due to terrible experiences from the past. Going to this nail salon at first and booking my appt was really nerve racking to me because I didn't want to pay for something I didn't like however Oanh did such an amazing job, holy cow. I was sooo surprised that someone actually took their time and cleaned your nails and on top of that listen to my request of keeping the shape square. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I'm extremely thankful that I took the chance and tried this nail salon because I'm definitely coming back. Their price is also reasonable, I live in the west side but so far this is the only place I trust my nails with on this island read more

I've gotten many gel pedicures at Blissful after a friend recommended it. I love the small space -- it's a comfortable environment for someone who is prone to overwhelm in public. I usually book ahead online with whomever is available - all the women who work there are fantastic. There are only three pedi chairs, so it's perfect for taking just a couple friends as well. read more

I'm really shocked with the reviews here with mainly 5-stars, but I'd say by far one of the most unsanitary places I've been to for getting my nails done. All I remember was her venmo had the name My Tran in it. That nail technician was not using a cuticle stick or pusher to push my skin back. RATHER, she used her OWN NAILS to do so and as if that wasn't sickening enough. When she was using the buffer she snagged my pinky twice, causing it to bleed and when she noticed it was bleeding she wiped it with the towel that was placed under my hands the entire time (which had a lot of nail powder residue on it). I'm not mad with how the nails came out, but seriously just afraid of getting an infection with how they treated my nails. I don't think I'll be coming back here again. read more

First time here: Called to make a walk in appt about an hour before they closed. They said they could take me. Nails came out cute, but I felt she was rushing. As she was cleaning my nails, she clipped the skin too much and it's bleeding. On one of my nails, the painting looks weird, like she didn't want to go back and redo it. Also, hand massage was not good. I come to get my nails done to get a relaxing massage but it literally took like 30 seconds. The vibe I got was that she was rushing to get out by 6. Mind you there was another customer in there doing her nails as well. read more

My favorite nail place!! Phuong always does an AMAZING job! I always book online in advance to make an appointment with her. This nail salon is nice and cozy, everyone is so nice. Lena did an amazing job and the staff was so sweet and accommodating. Such a cute spot in Kaimuki. Will absolutely be back.

Don't let the name fool you this cute place does so much more than you think to make your me time absolute "Bliss!" Located right on Koko Head Ave not easily visible from the street, it's located on the ground floor in a green building next to the post office, park at the municipal lot in the back or if you're lucky street parking. My reason for this visit is I was in desperate need for a pedi and thought of this as the perfect place to for that...why? - This Woman-owned business is something I loved to support - Great prices and variety pedi package options - Super easy and convent online booking - Clean and comfortable chairs Other than the usual mani/pedi they also do facials, threading, waxing, lash and brows, even hair & makeup. Not to mention the friendly staff that checks and assures that everything is to your liking. They have three pedi chairs and a three mani area...no waiting area as this place is quite small so I don't recommend anyone to tag along unless their getting services as well. Thank you so much ladies for making me feel pampered, I loved my Deluxe Gel Pedicure which includes (the usual including sugar scrub exfoliation, massage, paraffin wax, hot stone, hot towel, & gel polish) I'm forever on my feet at work so I do take the best possible care of them and here they came away certainly feeling "Blissful!" Thank you!! read more

12/18/21 We showed up at our appointment time and were taken in promptly... as a matter of fact, they took me in early. Professional, caring and kind. Everyone was really nice. It was my first time getting the gel treatment and Lina was very nice explaining what she was doing and suggesting enhancements for my mani/pedi. My daughter was well taken care of. She loved the deluxe pedicure with the paragon treatment. Her fingernails were amazing... she can now wear her ring and show off her fingers comfortably. Thank you ladies. We will be back read more

I did not have time to do my nails before coming on this trip and I was tired of looking at my crusty nails. Making an apportionment was fairly easy. I did not have a preference to who I want my nail technician to be so they assigned Phuong for me. After booking, I immediately got a confirmation appointment text. Arriving to the shop would be a bit confusing but luckily other Yelpers were very helpful in posting what the shop on the outside looked like. There were very limited metered parking (parking meter only accepts coins). When entering the shop, my nail technician, Phuong, greeted me with such a sweet/ outgoing energy. She was very thorough in what design, length and shape I wanted. I showed her a picture for reference and oh man did she execute it!! Throughout the whole process, she was very gentle and nice. She was always asking me if I was okay in case anything was uncomfortable. Although my appointment lasted past 6pm (they close at 6), she was not rushing and was taking her time to make sure everything looked good. If anyone is on vacation or is looking for a nail spot, please come here and book with Phuong!! She is amazing & this is the prettiest set I've ever had!! Thank you Phuong!! :') read more

I found this nail salon on Yelp before I went on a quick vacation. We always need a nice mani when we go on vacation. I looked on their website and was able to book an appointment with Phuong! I love when we can make appointments online! It makes life that much easier. Phuong does amazing designs with Dipped Powder Nails. I decided to come back again but wanted a gel. I booked online for gel and had Sang. She does great gel nails. Because of work, short, strong and gel nails are perfect for me. I don't need anything fancy. Since then, I've been back at least three times and have recently brought my husband with me. It's such a clean salon and everyone is so nice! They're also very detailed in their work. The quality is great! Totally recommend! read more

Cute little nail salon and spa located in Kaimuki. Parking is meter and right now the parking is under construction, so finding parking can be a little tough. The salon itself it's neatly kept and you always feel welcome. This is my 3rd time coming in and Julie, Phuong, and Sang are the friendliest people ever and always remember me when I come in. Talking stories with them is always a blast and I never feel awkward. Phuong is always asking if the mail shape and color is to my liking and I really appreciate it. Great ombré dip manicure for me and perfect deluxe pedicure for my Mom! Lina is a pro!

I am always looking for a good gel manicure! I am a new CNA & frequent handwashing & hand sanitizer really did a number on my nails. This salon is on the small side, 2 pedicure stations & 3 manicure tables, and is very comfortable. The a/c is amazing, perfect for current summer-like days & the salon is very clean. There is a big screen tv tuned in to music videos. I ABSOLUTELY APPRECIATE ONLINE BOOKING! My nail tech was Lina & she did a great job on my nails. This is my second time with her. There's not a lot of conversation but I am one who prefers that (I like to watch the process). The first gel manicure with her lasted 2-1/2 weeks, which I was quite happy about. My nails look & feel good, the polish is smooth & the hand massage was great. read more

My feet have been begging for some TLC and I'd heard only good things about Blissful so I decided to treat myself and come check it out. The owner Julie was so friendly and accommodating. Even with being in the last appointment slot of the day, I did not feel like the service was rushed/felt very well taken care of. Access is convenient - online appointments are easy to book, and there various street parking around. The salon is located right off the highway and easy to get to. The massage seats were top notch, you can tell there's a lot of care that goes into this salon. Next time I'll make sure to bring some friends to relax alongside me :) read more

Ventured here while on vacation in January, thanks to fellow Yelpers. The place is a bit hard to find, and you need cash for parking. We both had a good pedicure experience. He had the deluxe pedicure, and I had the organic pedicure. For some reason, it felt like my leg massage went on forever, and he felt like he hardly got a massage. The organic pedicure had some special set of items that were all wrapped in a tin of plastic, so that was a bit disappointing. All in, it was a good experience. read more

Service has not yet disappoint me! The customer service is amazing and I love that each of the workers take care of their client and pay attention to their needs. The environment is cozy. Had a great experience with Lina today at Blissful! The shop can be a bit hard to find it's wedged in between some apartment buildings but the shop is modern and well-maintained! I always try to choose the first appointment (9:00am). The two workers welcomed me in got me seated and brought me my choices and starting going to work immediately. I honestly wasn't really in a talking mood, and My Tran did ask how I was doing and how my day was going. She went to work and was in the zone as I got some quiet time to myself which was great. I was hoping the appointment would be quick but I didn't want rushed work and it ended up being a perfect set of nails done in about 25 mins. And I'm here for it! Always a great experience here, 10/10 recommend. Clean, quick, great work and always good music on, see your for my next set! read more

Needed some toe pampering and happen to be in the area so we decided to give Blissful a try Its a small shop, just off 12th Avenue adjacent to metered parking located just outside their door. We thought that getting there are 4 p.m. would give them ample time to do a deluxe pedicure. By observation I could tell that many of their customers were regulars They all greeted us as we entered. We were seated immediately and the technicians got to work immediately. My technician was friendly, but seemed to be rushing. Everything was fast..fast..fast, even the massage that we paid extra for. The workmanship was alright, not the best. I was surprised that she didn't even use that thing to separate the toes as some of my toes overlap, not even cotton. And she could have taken more time to smooth the surfaces. That's just my opinion. I was off the chair in less than 30 minutes. I'm not saying don't go there, just go well before they close. read more

You have to park in the metered parking next to the building for find street parking. They are located in the green building if you are in the metered lot there is a pathway to go to the front door. The inside is fairly small, I got there about 5 minutes early but Phoung was still with someone else so she has me sit and choose my color. Never did dip powder nails before they seems to last longer than the gel, it's been 2 weeks and there hasn't been any lifting. Phoung was very sweet and would always ask how I was doing and if I liked the way it looked and asked if I wanted water before we started. It came out it exactly how I wanted it and I will definitely be going back to take my mom to get her nails and a pedicure! read more

Tucked away in the side of a building on Koko Head Avenue, with no real visible sign from the street is one of the best nail salons that we've been to on the island. (I did see a small sign on the corner of the building later) we called at 4:30pm and they had us come in at 5:15. Pretty quick to get in on a Saturday afternoon. I wanted a pedicure and my daughter and niece got dipped nails with extension tips. We were welcomed into the shop and offered a bottle of water (nice touch!). I'll start with my pedicure. The shop is only 2 years old and they have really nice new chairs with massage and attached side tables. They were super comfy. They took the time to make sure that my toe nails were manicured and trimmed very nicely. But the oil and sugar scrub massage was Heaven and just what I needed. They really took a lot of extra time on that! Lastly I was polished with care and accuracy. They really paid close attention to detail and I loved my service there. And pricing was very reasonable. Now the girls brought in photos of what they wanted their nails to look like. It was the first time that they have done the dip style instead of the traditional acrylic nails. I have to say that the process is a lot more pleasant because you're not getting that harsh chemical smell. My daughters nails (pink design) we're done by Sang. My nieces nails (black design) we're done by Phoung. Both of these ladies spent so much time and attention to the detail in their work and the nails came out spectacular!!! We will definitely be coming back to this shop as it is a hidden gem read more

Blissful Nails & Spa is a perfect example of excellent customer service. I called at 10:00 AM on a Sunday morning, itching to have my chipped and overgrown nails done, and they told me they could take me right away. Not 15 minutes later, I was sitting in front of Lina (spelling?) who was very carefully cleaning, shaping, and painting my nails. The ladies helped me pick the perfect shade of natural for my fingers and a festive green for my toes. I noticed a few small imperfections in the top coat on my hands, and Lina quickly and graciously fixed them for me. Thank you, Lina and team! Looking forward to my next appointment! read more

Very pleased for my first time. Super clean and neat. Constant cleaning going on while I was there. Gives that extra feeling of reassurance in these times. Masks are being worn. Partitions are used at all stations. Even between pedicure stations- cool and neat idea to have mobile partitions. Everyone was very hospitable. There are three pedicure stations and three nail tech stations. They have a restroom that you may use-super convenient. I parked out front at the 1-hour max meter. They were kind enough to fill my meter when the time ran out with the quarters that I provided. That's extra out of your way service. I was advised to park in the big lot behind the business. The max there is 2 hours and it is at a lower cost. I was able to book yesterday for this morning, also a nice note -Accommodating. They have an array of services. From mani/pedi to lash lifts. I went for a deluxe pedicure. This includes the paraffin wax treatment. The lady taking care of my horrid feet was attuned to my comfort. She always made sure I was okay with what she was doing and although I have ingrown toe nails, I felt no pain. I left with the refreshing feeling of relaxed feet and calves and sparkling toes. Im ready for the holidays!! I'm a happy camper. Looks like I may have just found my new place. I'm super excited as I've been a lover of everything beauty- especially nails. Based off of today I'd definitely recommend you give this little paradise a try. Can't wait to come back and see how everything goes. Stay tuned.... read more

I've been here a few times and haven't had any problems. But I had a different nail tech than I usually do, I believe her name was My Tran. I'm torn because the end product was really great and I love how my nails turned out. But during the process it was pretty rough and I got cut a few times as she was drilling/filing down my nails. One cut still hurts pretty bad. This won't stop me from coming again, but it wasn't a super enjoyable experience. read more

I debated writing this review for a while now... Blissful Nails and Spa is a gem that I want to keep secret, and all to myself. Affordable, over the top professional, incredible service, and super convenient, the list of reasons to love this salon are endless. Shout out to Julie and her staff for being so accommodating, kind, and straight out amazing! Of course I had to check out the deals for "When on Waialae." I saved my worn down and ugly looking nails just for this event--poor Julie and her crew really had to put in some extra effort and elbow grease to make these things look purdy. A girlfriend and I booked the last two appointments for the day on a Friday evening because what better way to close out a crazy week, amirite?! The salon itself is clean... like super clean, with not one thing out of place. They're conveniently located off of Koko Head Avenue in the green building across from the school. Hiding in plain sight on the bottom floor, this salon has three chairs for pedicures and three tables for manicures. I love a good close and intimate salon -- upon arrival and checking the place out, I'd imagine this biz would be the perfect spot for a girl's day. I can imagine a bridal party booking the whole place for a #treatyoself day. My most recent visit was for a gel mani and spa pedi (I have messed up heals, lol). These ladies did not disappoint and definitely delivered when I showed them pictures of what I wanted. Booking online was quick and easy--their website is easy to navigate and trust me when I say they have plenty of options for treatments and times available.
