Had to drop down my review. I've had one good experience since last review (beauty and beast nails) and then tonight they dropped the ball. I had requested 3 appointments for me and my friends. A gel x and gel pedicure and 2 gel pedicures for my friends. They did not do my gel pedicure because they took until close to do my fingers. I also did only one nail with designs bc of how long they took on nails. It was gelX and a $100 for 1.5 hours. For that level of meticulous I'm also expecting close to perfect but still have imperfections and a notable instrument slice in one of my thumbs polish. I cannot say enough good things about this nail salon's services! It's a somewhat hidden store but Linda, the woman who did my pedicure, provided an excellent classic pedicure. $35 before tip! She gave me a fabulous lower leg massage, aloe Vera for the skin, trim and soak of nails, trimmed callouses on the balls of my feet, and THEN did my nails. Massage chairs keep you relaxed and the vibe of the place is basic--manicurists chatting in Vietnamese , customers relaxing. No music in the background but not really needed. You can listen to music on your own earphones if desired. read more

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience during my recent pedicure. While removing the old gel polish from my big toe, the nail technician used a cuticle trimmer to scrape and pull/rip off the gel polish instead of the normal filing it down. This was very painful and I looked down and saw my toenail had been punctured and bleeding a bit. I asked/contemplated not getting polish on my toe after because of how it was hurting already and was nervous! I understand that accidents can happen, but the removal method felt rushed and careless, and I wish more attention had been paid to proper technique. I don't normally leave reviews but it was very painful. They did give me a discount of $5 after asking twice. read more

I came here on the recommendation of a friend. I made my appointment thru their Instagram page. The person I messaged with apparently didn't pass on my appointment info, because they had no record of it when I showed up. The woman who spoke to me, I never did get her name, was not friendly or welcoming. They told me they could get me in but that it would be another hour. So I waited an hour. Then that same woman did my mani/pedi. she filed my left big toe down so it was even when the top of my toe and wound up filing my skin instead until I got the equivalent of a paper cut. It's two days later and it still hurts, especially if I wear close-toed shoes. I only got clear polish on my fingernails and today it started peeling. I was offered no discount for the appointment mixup or wait time. So, including tip, I paid over $100 for three hours, a cut toe, and peeling fingernails. I won't go back. read more

I walked in on a weekday morning and was able to be seen right away for my gel pedicure. They bought all new pedicure chairs and manicure desks. It looks so clean and chic. They definitely made the right choices on their update to the store. I got a basic pedicure plus gel polish. Prices have definitely gone up on gel. It used to be only $10 extra but now it's $22. I don't mind paying for it here because my nail technician did an amazing job. Best gel pedicure I've had in a very long time. At first the color was too light and she happily helped me fix it to get the color I wanted. No attitude and no drama about it. Only wish they they would massage for a little bit longer on the pedicures. We continue to get my nails done here and you should too. read more

They were screaming at me for mercy so I launched Yelp and searched for nail salons near me and up popped Perfect Nails on the top of the list. Lucky for me I didnt have to wait long once I walked in. I went with their Spa Pedicure for $35. Michelle did a wonderful job. She spent adequate time too on the "spa" part which is massage of my feet and calves followed by a steamed warm towel. The pedicure came out very pretty. My feet are happy. This is the 2nd location I've followed my technician, Nancy #1. I have had a handful of pedicures elsewhere, but this salon's management knows how to retain the best staff and repeat customers. I am extremely ticklish. Nancy #1 is strong and keeps me from kicking out as I giggle in my chair. Her techniques ensure I can go without trimming my toe nails for a month or two! No other salon has these pretty pedicure bowls. Hundreds of colors to choose from. I'm personally not into the massage chair, but give me all the hot towel treatment! I haven't had a pedicure in so long. And I needed to get one for my wedding. Service was awesome. My nail tech was so helpful if you were in between colors, like I was. She painted her nails to show me what the color looked like so that I could choose. I feel so bad that I did not get their name because service was unmatched. The staff is very accommodating and pay very close attention to detail. I enjoyed that the salon was very clean and that the staff was very professional (the talking was kept to a minimum). I've been to other salons where when you sit down, they just talk to their other colleagues the whole time and then at some point they have asked if I speak their language, I tell them no, and they continue to keep talking in their language and laughing. But Perfect Nails was not like that at that salon. I felt very relaxed and comfortable throughout my whole appointment! 10/10 would recommend again. Also the massage chair was a 10/10 too! read more

I have been coming here for a few years. And they are getting super busy. Make sure to call ahead to schedule to see if they can take you in. They are also super accommodating squeezing in last minute when I needed my nails to look pretty. The spot is a little tucked away by massage envy but this place is such a gem. They updated all the chairs and tables so everything is super clean and it so relaxing to be there. I also get gel on my nails and if I want longer nails I usually do gelX or acrylic. Excellent service by hardworking women. I get a basic pedicure and add on callus removal. I've been here on multiple occasions and each time I've gotten EXCELLENT SERVICE. They PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS and work hard to clean up everything from the cuticles and the bottom of my feet. If they feels something rough on the bottom, they will go back and smooth it out. You don't get quality service like that nowadays. I like coming here because they DON'T FORCE SMALL TALK on you. You can relax and just chill without feeling obligated to talk. They have SIX MASSAGE CHAIRS and SEVEN manicure stations and about FIVE workers. POLISH lasts a long time, over a month. It's probably because they take their time to sand each nail down and prep it properly. CALL TO MAKE RESERVATIONS because they get busy with their regulars. Hollywood nails in Hawaii Kai flooded a while back and all the ladies have since transitioned to this location. JC is wonderful. She's always so accommodating and knows exactly what I want without having to explain. I'm pretty boring. My nails are always on the shorter side and usually in a neutral tone. I hate the way it sounds when my nails click the keyboard. Whenever I come out, I'm always intrigued by the work Nancy does at the station next to me. Mesmerizing to watch her designs. She's so great. I just wish I was brave enough to have her do mine. I'd feel like it was a waste of her time an effort if I took them off right away because I was uncomfortable so I'll stick with my basics. This shop is a hidden gem. It can be a bit hard to find due to the location. Its tucked in by massage envy and the post office. I love going here, I am always getting my toes done and my nails. For pedicure they use disposable tools and liners to keep everything sanitized. My toes are clean and painted and my heels are soft and smooth. I took my 2 nieces, ages 8 and 10, to get their nails done. I believe I had come here once before, years ago, and had a nice pedicure myself. Today, I really enjoyed my pedicure, and both the girls nails turned out great, but the price was outrageous! They charged $75 for the 8yr old child mani&pedi (with gel polish), and $55 for the 10yr old mani (w/gel), pedi regular polish. I have NEVER been charged that much for a child's service, and I have taken all my nieces to get nails done at different places over the last 15 years. I will not be returning here. This is only my second time here, but I'll be a lifelong client. My feet feel clean and fresh, my gel pedicure is beautiful. It's on the pricey side at around $60 with tax. But worth every penny. They took out my painful ingrown toenails while keeping the integrity of my nail with no bleeding. Bonus is that they removed my old gel polish with this paint on remover- no more acetone getting on your skin. Seems way more healthy! Only downside is the massage chairs are weak. I initially wanted a french manicure but decided to make it gel...last a little longer, ya know? Overall: Pros= *Uses gloves while working on your nails. *Easy to get in. *Prices are pretty good (i.e. $15 for a basic manicure.) Cons= *Though my tech did many coats and used OPI, it was a bit messy (polish on skin, missing polish on sides of nail, and one nail bubbled over.) * Not sure if tools are adequately sanitized (saw things pulled out from drawer, not an autoclave.) *Services on one hand was not consistent with the other (one hand didn't get cuticle oil, one hand missed a coat.) read more

I heard this place from stranger at Macys and came to check it out. I was hesitate to go in the beginning but I really need a pampering today. The appointment was easy although the really speak little English and yes they did speak Vietnamese to each other and made me little awkward. Well I made an appointment for 930 after showing up at nine because the technician wasn't there yet. I didn't get seen until 10 but the nail technician I did have was very polite. After a few of them argued over the picture I showed them I decided to get one of their sample nails. I do like the way it came out and that's why I rate them three stars. However the promotion price of $35 for a full set isn't accurate. I was quoted $27 to get a fill but after I pick the sample I was cd $50. Update March 27, 2019 My nail broke.!!??
