I was looking for a nail place nearby that could do a nail color change at a reasonable price. Their website and reviews show that the cost was $10, which is reasonable and on par with pricing on the mainland. Unfortunately when I got there, they told me it's $20! Holy smokes, that's very pricey for just a color change! I called to see if they could get me in on the same day and they said yes, come now. That was a plus. The nail technician did a good job on my nails and was friendly enough. No complaints there. They're located in the Hawaii Kai shopping center, close to Island Brew Coffeehouse. Plenty of parking is available in the shared lot. I may return in the future, but not for a color change. read more

Kathy did an incredible pedicure. She was definitely through with her job. One thing the owner has to be open about the price list. I did basic pedicure, added gel nail paint and design. $40+no clue for gel+19 for design+something else= 90 person and times 2 as my daughter got a pedicure also. I paid 170+20 =190. It is not the workers fault at all. They should give clear description before getting the customer. It is one of the most expensive pedicure I have gotten. My mom and I came in today after grabbing coffee and decided to give this salon a try. Unfortunately, our experience was awful from start to finish. The staff was unfriendly, and the pricing felt extremely misleading. I specifically asked for the most basic gel pedicure for my toes and somehow ended up being charged $85 just for my toes alone. The menu also showed that the basics was about $50 so I am not sure how I got charged so much. What made matters worse was the actual service. The technician used a blade-like tool on the bottom of my feet that stripped the skin completely raw. Instead of smoothing my feet, she removed protective skin and left them painful and sensitive. My mom's experience was just as bad. The technician aggressively picked at her cuticles to the point that her fingers are now so sore she can't even wash dishes comfortably. She was then charged $40 for nothing more than a basic cleanup with no polish or extras. We both walked out in pain, feeling completely ripped off and disrespected. My mother is one of the sweetest people you could meet, and it's upsetting to see customers treated this way. We absolutely will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others before booking here. read more

Emily is amazing! I went to get a mani/pedi for my daughter's wedding. She helped me find colors to match my dress and suggested what she thought would be nice. I put my full trust in her and it was definitely worth it. She did a beautiful white ombré for my nails and cat's eye on my toes. I could not stop admiring Emily's work. First time here even though I've been living across the street for a year lol. I usually go to town or Pearl city to get my nails done, but being pretty heavily pregnant at the moment, I didn't want to travel far. Looking on Yelp, this place had good reviews so I decided to call and make an appt. I got a dip manicure with a baby blue/pinkish nice ombre for my baby shower this week, and also got a pedicure. DIP MANICURE: I love how my nails turned out and the nail technician (I didn't get her name, but she was the manager) was sweet and very skilled. She did knick 2 of my fingers by my cuticle line but she was very apologetic (unlike some places lol), so I didn't take a star off the review. The only disappointing thing about my manicure was that she didn't give me any hand massage with lotion :( she also had to stop numerous times to answer the phone, but again , she was sweet and apologetic and explained they were short on staff.. totally understandable in today's circumstances. PEDICURE: being that my feet and ankles are a bit swollen from pregnancy, I decided to treat myself lol. I saw they had something called jelly pedicures (choices of lavender, cherry sage, aloe Vera, and peppermint). Since I wanted something refreshing, I opted for peppermint. I loved how the jelly felt and they also give a longer massage since it's the special type of pedicure. Pedicure was about $56 exclusive of tip if I remember correctly. The smell and cool sensation from the peppermint essential oils felt so relaxing and when looking to indulge, I will definitely do this again :). The massage chairs were good, but it had a slight dip by my tail bone so it was a little uncomfortable.. but that could just be because I'm pregnant lol In total, my nails and jelly pedicure came out to about $130 (exclusive of tip) which isn't too bad considering I got a special pedicure. I would definitely recommend this place, and I think I may make this my new go-to nail place. read more
