Wife and I went in for a late Valentine's Day manicure and pedicure and was treated so well! From check in to finishing, aunties and uncles were kind, accommodating and helpful. There's a 35 dollar pedicure, but I opted for the 55 dollar one for its extra perks. She ended up getting a manicure as well, which they did right as she was getting a pedicure. Place is smaller, and it was getting busy with his and her packages coming in, but they handled it with ease. Big respect for opening up during Lunar New year as well. Had reservations for a gel mani (w/ builder gel) & pedi one Saturday. I realllllllly wanted to like this place, but some of the staff is a bit questionable on their skills. It was a little off-putting when I was in the middle of my pedi and someone else came to cut my natural fingers EXTRA SHORT, crooked, and all different lengths... I tried my best to trust the process and hoped it was gonna be nice anyway. I was extra patient and reiterated what I wanted, but I had to be transferred to another mani tech after the tech who did my pedi COULDN'T do french tips with builder gel for me. I asked maybe 4-5 times for her to redo it because it was so messy... she was super sweet so I gave her extra chances. I really did enjoy the way the guy who was able to do my french tips to my liking! He actually had to redo my entire mani... he even had to file down the builder gel that I had because it was so uneven. Even though it turned out nice at the end, my mani chipped 2 days later and I wasn't even doing anything strenuous. Please save your money. I'd only come here for pedis. read more

I had a truly awful experience at this nail salon. I called ahead and they assured me it was fine to come in. I went there specifically to get my nails done for an important event tomorrow where there will be close-up pictures taken, so I wanted a clean,cute look. I asked for a very simple nude light pink glitter cat eye design that they literally had advertised in the salon, along with an acrylic fill and gel pedicure. From the moment I sat down, the experience was bad. There was a used rag with old dirty nail clippings and used tools all over the table where they wanted me to put my hands, which was completely unsanitary. The nail tech cut my cuticles and skin multiple times, and my fingers are still hurting. I originally had square acrylics and asked for almond shape. Every single nail came out uneven, jagged, different lengths, and different shapes. The tech also struggled with the cat eye design. I picked out a nude pink color, but she grabbed the wrong color and started layering random polishes trying to "fix" it instead of just telling me they didn't have the color I wanted I would have happily picked a different one. Now some nails are brown, some are pink, the cat eye is uneven on every finger, and there are chunks and dust cured into the polish so the nails are bumpy and rough. Another tech stepped in to help and was extremely rough with my hands and wrists the entire time, yanking my arm around every time I took my hand out of the lamp. The entire fill took FIVE HOURS by itself, and I was there almost their entire business day. Then I still had to get my pedicure done. I asked for square toes and they all came out different shapes too. Before I came in, the bottoms of my feet were completely normal. Now the skin on the bottoms of my feet is visibly shredded and torn up from the pedicure. It does not just feel irritated, the skin is actually damaged and rough looking even though I paid for an actual pedicure with scrub and care, not just a polish change. Not sure what products they use either but my feet were insanely dried out after. I literally left tearing up because of how bad everything looked. One employee did waive the cat eye upcharge, but it just sucks having to pay over $100 for stuff that comes out so bad I'm genuinely embarrassed to be seen with my nails like this.... Then Ill have to spend even more money trying to get everything redone before my event tomorrow morning, and I don't even know if I'll be able to get another appointment in time. Sadly this was a complete waste of money and one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. read more

The guy who worked on my pedicure skinned the fresh skin on my big toe . It was so raw that everytime he cleaned up the polish with the brush it stung so bad . Then when I had to put my foot in the hot wax and even just the water I knew they was open wound because of the stinging . They cut off my cuticles which I understand some places do but it was incredibly painful and made my toe nail paint look longer than I usually am accustomed to. I think he took more than dead skin . Most painful pedicure I've ever had and results weren't amazing . They seem like nice people though , maybe I was just unlucky . read more

Honestly so disappointed. I don't usually go to this nail salon, but it was right next to my place and Gradient Salon was fully booked. The details on my nails look like they were done by an 8-year-old--no precision at all. What's worse is Gradient is cheaper for a regular gel manicure and still delivers way better quality. I got my engagement nails done here and I WILL be going back for my wedding in December. This review is long overdue! They did everything that I wanted: gel toes, ombré acrylics and acrylic 3d nail art. Parking is right in the front, which can be hard to find in town. Even if the parking lot was full, you could park in the mall and walk! I was a walk in that day, and it was raining. They still accommodated me. Self care is something that I don't do enough for myself and one touch of flair that I do love is getting a pedicure for my sad feet that's been through way too much for my comfort but since I did get it done it was time for some manicure which I don't do very much as it gets a bashing from work which I do horrible things to it but since I've been wanting to have it done I've been growing it out so that it can be shaped to my linking. Heard about this new place that opened right across Ala Moana Center behind the former Burger King and you can't miss the brightly yellow painted building with Ramen Manichi viewable from Kona Street is where you can access their parking which is also a nice feature to have lots of free parking. Walking into this cozy shop where there's a handful of stations and how they work it in this small space is nice I originally book an appointment in advance but later cancelled it and decided it worked better today and luckily they had made my way in...woohoo! It's not unusual to have some language barrier but knowing that I did walk into a busy time so I did felt rushed and as she asked if I wanted my nails cut...I said yes but to just even it out only to see her cut it down just horrified me to a point that I could see the skin...gah too short lady!!! She then a bit too rounded for me and did the cuticles and touch ups to only then asked what type of polish to I said gel and gave me the color swatches to choose from...I'm used to getting it at the start so I felt kinda rushed and when I chose one I said I want faded nails and was surprised when she painted my whole nails to my confusion I said okay thinking she was gonna add fade at the tips to my horror she added white French tips to a fuchsia pink sparkle color...EWWW! I said no I wanted faded then she faded the white French tips...omg I thought she was crazy! no no no just coat it and leave it alone to what I said then a gentleman steps in Nelson and took over. She never asked how I wanted my nails as she did it as we went it was just horrible and though I wasn't upset about the color the cutting of my nails almost got me walking out as now it's too short...Nelson insist that he will fix it but to the point that I already hate it but what's done is done and I'm not spending for extensions and at least he fixed it to the best of what it can be. They need to evaluate from the start and not as you go...don't rush just to squeeze in the sales as when you don't take the time it's wasted doing things over but I will be back though I saw a stamp card at the register and never got an offer for it. read more

This cute little place is located near an ally way with plenty of parking space especially in the morning. My mom and I arrived by the time they opened 10am. We went in as walk ins and were able to get attended to. I got a manicure gel x 85.00, gel pedicure for toes with scrub massage 50.00 & my mom got a gel manicure for 45.00. What I enjoyed most was the time they took without rushing. I felt so relaxed I almost fell asleep. They also had a good playlist in the background. My nail tech Abby took her time and made sure I liked the shape. I am happy with my service. The place is clean and each station has a sterilizer machine to keep tools clean. Drove into blooming nails parking lot and found quite a few stalls perfect didn't struggle , I called in advance to ask if they take walk ins or if I should make an appointment .. lady was nice and said there will probably be a 20 minute wait but I could just come in . Entered the nail salon it was actually really nice and very clean and classy .. pedicure area chairs nice too:) sat down and waited . . Wait was longer then expected and I stayed way longer then expected but IT WAS WELL WORTH IT . To the point .. This is my new spot. People nice . Did a great job. Girl time with one of my friends! We made an appointment for 10am to do our gel pedicures. Parking was easy and location is great. The workers and owner were friendly and provided a great experience. Wasn't able to get any pictures because my friend and I were so relaxed and comfortable that we were able to catch up the entire time . I'm not a massage chair person but I actually liked it! I also liked how their machines for the gel polish to dry were stress free. They cover your toes and you don't need to slip it in the machine worrying if it's going to damage your polish. 10/10 recommend and it's near Ala Moana. read more
