My birthday is coming up and I wanted to treat myself to a pedicure. I put out a Yelp inquiry last week. They actually were able to get me in sooner than today, but today worked best for my schedule. I arrived a few minutes. The place looked like what I would expect a nail salon to look like. I was pleasantly pleased that they had the Halmark Channel showing on the tv. It helped full my goal of relaxing and getting pampered. Lisa took excellent care of me. I got the Lavedar package for my pedicure and the callous removal (I walk barefoot a lot). I am very happy with how my toes came out. I highly recommend you check out Garden Nails.
Pleased with how my nails came out but still not exactly sure what a manicure add-on entails anymore. I asked to get powder acrylic but also wanted to get a manicure done. My last experience at a different salon taught me that manicures are a separate charge. The nail tech I went to was fine about adding on the manicure after she had already glued the acrylic nails on. I assumed that a manicure includes a cuticle cut and a hand massage at the end. The other nail techs in the salon were all giving their customers a hand massage at the end of their service. However, I did not receive a hand massage. My nails are acrylic with powder, with a natural fade and glitter in the top half. Apparently the glitter powder is also an extra charge, which I did not know until after she started adding the glitter.
I came in during the last hour of the day, and I truly appreciated that the staff was still willing to take care of me. Two people worked on me at the same time. One did my pedicure while the other did my nails. It was efficient and helped save time. I paid about $75 for the Hawaiian pedicure and $65 for a manicure with lilac shellac extensions. While I was happy with the end result, my toes were clean and my nails looked beautiful, I am not sure if it was worth the price. Especially for the pedicure. I didn't pay attention to what was included in the service, so I do not know if I received everything that came with it. Comfort was a challenge. I am short and plus-sized, so it was hard for me to sit comfortably during the service. I asked for back support and they kindly gave me a towel, but it did not help much. I felt uncomfortable the entire time and honestly just wanted the service to be over. It was also difficult for me to hold my feet up during the callus removal. Unfortunately, my heels, which are my main problem area, did not get scrubbed as much as I hoped. I think having a proper cushion or footrest would help guests like me have a better experience. There were also communication issues. The person who did my pedicure did not speak English, and the person who did my manicure spoke a little but not fluently. She did her best to accommodate me, which I truly appreciated. Still, everyone in the room was speaking their own language and not really engaging with me, which made me feel like an outsider. As a guest, you hope to feel welcomed and taken care of. In this case, I did not feel that connection. The tipping process was also disappointing. I was not aware that they only accepted tips in cash. I tried to use the ATM nearby to get money, but my card was declined twice. I had planned to leave a $20 tip and felt embarrassed and frustrated when I could not. I wish this policy had been clearly communicated ahead of time or that other tipping options were available. Even with all of that, I want to sincerely thank the nail tech who did my manicure. She was kind, understanding, and reassured me when I apologized for not being able to tip as I am someone who takes care of people who take care of me no matter the experience as I am also in the customer service industry, She told me not to worry and to take care of myself. That moment showed real professionalism and heart. The other person who took care of me seemed upset about the situation... so I couldn't even look her in the eye. Although the final results were nice, the overall experience left me feeling unsure about whether it was worth the cost. However, I do want to recognize the kindness of the tech who did her best to make me feel cared for. Total Spent: $157.06
Needed a fill and a pedicure while in town helping parents and my friend recommended them. They did not disappoint! Excellent nails, quality outstanding the lasted and didn't lift or flake. The people were very nice and friendly and caring. Prices were not overpriced but very affordable!
Overpriced. I spent $84 on this pedicure. $45 for the pedicure + $20 gel + $7 callus remover. That's $72??? Then she said "$84 is with tax"??? Mind you, my heels are still rough. If anything, she made them worse. The one star is for the massage. I basically paid $84 for a calf and foot massage. Super disappointed
This is my 3rd time coming here. I always forgot to leave reviews. I've had 3 different people. I forgot to ask the name the first time, but Lisa and Emily names i got! All 3 times I got gel nail, pedicure and waxing!! No disappointment in all areas!!!!! I love how my gel nails last till a fill, I come like every 2-3 weeks! No chips! It hasn't peeled!! I'm grateful!!! Highly recommend this salon!!!!!!
Aloha, I totally did not ask for the assistants name. SHE WAS AWESOME! She took her time going thru the whole process of what kind of design I wanted on my nails to the colors. Her customer service was the exact but MORE! Thank you so much! Also, she had first greeted me and my twinn sister when we first walked into the shop; not just her but her colleagues as well. Thank you so much!
I was searching for a new nail tech because the one I was going to prior, kept cutting my fingers.. this happened at every appointment. Luckily, I came across Garden Nails on Yelp and noticed Cao's work. Seeing her was definitely a game changer for me! Not only was she patient and allowed me to explain what I wanted, she also gave me some advice, was super gentle, and did not cut any of my fingers. The design she came up with was absolutely gorgeous! The picture I took doesn't do it any justice. I highly recommend Cao for your nail design needs- you won't be disappointed! I will definitely be back to get my nails done once these fall off.
Amazing every time! Shout out to them for taking me last minute for a new set and soak off after hours. No matter what anyone says about the price, it's the work and the quality of service every time for me.
I came back to see Cao after a year and a half hiatus (I had a baby so I never had the time) and she still remembered my name! Service was great as always. Amazing massage, and nails designed just how I like it. I paid about $140 before tip for gel acrylic manicure, design, and spa pedicure with gel polish. Yes, it seems pricey, but my foot massage lasted almost 45 minutes from start to finish. Worth it to me. I guess you get what you pay for. Highly recommend !
Service I got has always been great. Nail tech Mei is super patient and cares for her work. I don't know the names of the girls that I had pedis from but both times, the massage was so good that I didn't want it to end. I tend to go before lunch and it's not that busy. There's a relaxing atmosphere in there. They're all easy to talk with as well even though English is obviously not their native language.

Hi Venus, I’m really sorry to hear that you left disappointed. This…
On Thursday around 12:30 PM, I called ahead of time to see if they had hard gel since I only get hard gel nails now. The lady who answered said they were available any time so I went in. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I had just called for the hard gel refill. I confirmed and got seated right away. My nail tech was Lisa. She was amazing! She fixed a nail and then helped me create nail designs on my nails. I loved the whole experience. They even had a tv with America Gots Talent showing so even tho it was not busy I was kept entertained. So the vibe was chill and conversation with Lisa was nice. read more

First time customer. Walked in with my daughter. We were greeted on arrival. Pedicure for me. Acrylics set for her. My pedicure was $45 plus $5 for callous removal. Total service took 32 minutes. She barely scrubbed the callous and I mean barely. I can still see and feel them on my feet 3 hours after we left. She was extremely fast but also felt extremely rushed. After the service she sat on her phone so she obviously had no where to be after my service... My daughter's acrylic set was a short length basic French tip in white with an outline of silver sparkles. They cost $95 it took an hour. They looked nice but seemed too expensive for the simple set she got. While I sat and waited for her I was able to get a good look around and this place is horribly horribly dirty. I could not understand why 6 people were just sitting on their phones and not cleaning their work space. Tip was cash only. I only saw the sign after I was seated for my pedicure. So I didn't tip. If your only accepting cash tips you need to have a sign outside the door or tell your customers before you seat them if you want to be tipped. read more

Was nervous about trying a new salon but Cao did and amazing job and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed :) She also was very thorough with her work and made sure I liked each design :) My nails came out better than the inspo picture! She didn't rush me out like most salons and she made sure I was okay throughout the appointment :) Thank you Cao see you next time! read more
Best pedicure ever! Extremely satisfied with the service here. You totally get what you pay for when it comes to their deluxe pedicures. My sister-in-law called ahead to make an appointment for 6 of us to get pedicures at 11am on a Saturday morning. We arrived right on time and our chairs were waiting. They opened at 9am so they were already busy with customers but we were still greeted at the door and lead to our massage chairs for our pedicures with no wait time. The technicians were all very good. Taking their time and asking throughout the service if we were comfortable. The service lasted 30-40 min and was well worth the $55 price! I will return for my next pedicure and am hoping to make this a monthly treat if finance allows. read more

I was looking for a new nail salon because I got tired of going to my usual spot. I decided to give Garden Nails a try after reading some awesome reviews. I did a walk-in. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door and I was immediately assisted by a nail tech named Lan. She was amazing. I was on the phone with my sister and I know it can be annoying assisting people while their on the phone but Lan was very respectful. She gave me the best pedicure. I was annoyed that my toe nail was chipped before I could get my nails redone because I don't like really short toe nails but she did such an amazing job, I love my pedicure. I decided to get the Hawaiian deluxe pedicure/lavender scent. I felt super relaxed the whole time and she gave me the best massage. She really turned things around for me. Prior to this, I went to a different place in Mililani. I was upset because the lady cut the side of my finger and toe when she filed my nails. When I went home it was burning. I told her about this experience and she was very considerate, she would ask me to let her know if anything hurts. She also kept telling me the price of everything before she did anything (which I absolutely love because not every nail salon does this). I love my simple nails. Thank you Lan. I'll definitely be back again because of you! :))) They ask that you tip in cash which was okay with me. read more

POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS/SERVICE!!! I was not satisfied with the work done initially, especially for the astronomical price but I paid and tipped. Here we are, 10 days later, all my nails have broken off, except two on each hand. A full set should last AT LEAST TWO WEEKS!!!! I'm short of that by 4 days and mine usually last at least 3 weeks. I just moved here from the mainland for a new job. With all the moving commotion I couldn't see my normal nail lady before I left. I still do not have my own place so I'm not cleaning or doing anything that may cause acrylic nails to lift etc. This is extremely frustrating considering the price and I was not happy with them to begin with. Now I just wasted $75 and I have to find a new place. I read reviews beforehand but they failed me so any recommendations are greatly appreciated. read more

Decided to stop by here to get my nails done after my gel x nail popped off mid vacation I was going to stick it out but was glad I decided to pamper myself after all. After looking at some other locations I decided to go her since they offered walk ins and was close to where I was going. Overall my experience was 10/10, granted I went on a Wednesday so there wasn't a lot of people but I walked in, was greeted right away with a lady and asked what I wanted and I said acrylic nails and get pointed me to Lan. I didn't want a full manicure experience just wanted to get my nails done. I kinda showed her some reference pictures of what I wanted and she quickly said she can do the designs I showed her and with the help of her I narrows down to just this beautiful jelly pink chrome color. I did the set with tips since my nails were short so it was $65 then the color I chose was an additional $5. It is a little pricey but for the detail she went in to when filing my brittle nails after ripping off my gel x's lol and the tips and tricks she passed onto me when doing nails at home or going to the salon to learn how to do nails I thought it was worth it. I'm currently on week 2 retention as I'm writing this and considering I work in a kitchen with heavy lifting and constant hand washing I'm impressed with how long they've lasted and with no chips or lifting. I'm back on the mainland so if I can some how travel back to her every month to get my nails done I would lol read more
