I went to Garden Nails for a pedicure, and unfortunately, I left feeling pretty disappointed. They currently have three pedicure price options: $35, $45, and $55. If you want acrylic polish, there is an additional $20 charge. I don't remember it being like in other places - and honestly, I feel the different price levels should already include the type of polish being used. The extra $20 feels excessive. I chose the $35 pedicure with regular polish. Unfortunately, the pedicure itself was not done very well. My cuticles were barely pushed back or cleaned, my toes still looked dry, and very little was done overall. When she scrubbed the bottoms of my feet, it literally lasted only about two seconds per foot. She spent much more time massaging my legs than actually doing the pedicure. I also decided not to pay an additional $20 for acrylic polish, especially considering the quality of the pedicure itself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even though I was disappointed, I still tipped her $10 because I always try to be kind and appreciate people's work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do come here to get my nails done, and I have to say that Tammy does a really, really good job. Pleased with how my nails came out but still not exactly sure what a manicure add-on entails anymore. I asked to get powder acrylic but also wanted to get a manicure done. My last experience at a different salon taught me that manicures are a separate charge. My nails are acrylic with powder, with a natural fade and glitter in the top half. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I came in during the last hour of the day, and I truly appreciated that the staff was still willing to take care of me. Two people worked on me at the same time. One did my pedicure while the other did my nails. It was efficient and helped save time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I paid about $75 for the Hawaiian pedicure and $65 for a manicure with lilac shellac extensions. While I was happy with the end result, my toes were clean and my nails looked beautiful, I am not sure if it was worth the price. Especially for the pedicure. I didn't pay attention to what was included in the service, so I do not know if I received everything that came with it. Comfort was a challenge. I am short and plus-sized, so it was hard for me to sit comfortably during the service. I asked for back support and they kindly gave me a towel, but it did not help much. I felt uncomfortable the entire time and honestly just wanted the service to be over. It was also difficult for me to hold my feet up during the callus removal. Unfortunately, my heels, which are my main problem area, did not get scrubbed as much as I hoped. I think having a proper cushion or footrest would help guests like me have a better experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were also communication issues. The person who did my pedicure did not speak English, and the person who did my manicure spoke a little but not fluently. She did her best to accommodate me, which I truly appreciated. Still, everyone in the room was speaking their own language and not really engaging with me, which made me feel like an outsider. I was not aware that they only accepted tips in cash. I tried to use the ATM nearby to get money, but my card was declined twice. I had planned to leave a $20 tip and felt embarrassed and frustrated when I could not. I wish this policy had been clearly communicated ahead of time or that other tipping options were available. She was kind, understanding, and reassured me when I apologized for not being able to tip as I am someone who takes care of people who take care of me no matter the experience as I am also in the customer service industry, She told me not to worry and to take care of myself. After the service she sat on her phone so she obviously had no where to be after my service... My daughter's acrylic set was a short length basic French tip in white with an outline of silver sparkles. They cost $95 it took an hour. They looked nice but seemed too expensive for the simple set she got. While I sat and waited for her I was able to get a good look around and this place is horribly horribly dirty. I could not understand why 6 people were just sitting on their phones and not cleaning their work space. Tip was cash only. I only saw the sign after I was seated for my pedicure. So I didn't tip. If your only accepting cash tips you need to have a sign outside the door or tell your customers before you seat them if you want to be tipped. read more

My sister-in-law called ahead to make an appointment for 6 of us to get pedicures at 11am on a Saturday morning. We arrived right on time and our chairs were waiting. They opened at 9am so they were already busy with customers but we were still greeted at the door and lead to our massage chairs for our pedicures with no wait time. The technicians were all very good. Taking their time and asking throughout the service if we were comfortable. The service lasted 30-40 min and was well worth the $55 price! POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS/SERVICE!!! I was not satisfied with the work done initially, especially for the astronomical price but I paid and tipped. Here we are, 10 days later, all my nails have broken off, except two on each hand. A full set should last AT LEAST TWO WEEKS!!!! I'm short of that by 4 days and mine usually last at least 3 weeks. I just moved here from the mainland for a new job. With all the moving commotion I couldn't see my normal nail lady before I left. I still do not have my own place so I'm not cleaning or doing anything that may cause acrylic nails to lift etc. This is extremely frustrating considering the price and I was not happy with them to begin with. Disappointed with my Experience here.. I went in for a Pedicure, I abuse my poor feet through hiking and other activities. If you read my other reviews I'm normally fair and not overly tough on businesses. Maybe I was unlucky and had their least trained staff member because I left feeling like I threw my money away for her services. I didn't need anything fancy, however I did expect my toe nails to at least be trimmed alittle and shaped properly. She did not even do this. For the 32.00 fee I could purchased everything to do it myself. If I could do better, with no training why would I pay someone to do it for me in the future. Decided to stop by here to get my nails done after my gel x nail popped off mid vacation I was going to stick it out but was glad I decided to pamper myself after all. After looking at some other locations I decided to go her since they offered walk ins and was close to where I was going. Overall my experience was 10/10, granted I went on a Wednesday so there wasn't a lot of people but I walked in, was greeted right away with a lady and asked what I wanted and I said acrylic nails and get pointed me to Lan. I didn't want a full manicure experience just wanted to get my nails done. I kinda showed her some reference pictures of what I wanted and she quickly said she can do the designs I showed her and with the help of her I narrows down to just this beautiful jelly pink chrome color. I did the set with tips since my nails were short so it was $65 then the color I chose was an additional $5. It is a little pricey but for the detail she went in to when filing my brittle nails after ripping off my gel x's lol and the tips and tricks she passed onto me when doing nails at home or going to the salon to learn how to do nails I thought it was worth it. I'm currently on week 2 retention as I'm writing this and considering I work in a kitchen with heavy lifting and constant hand washing I'm impressed with how long they've lasted and with no chips or lifting.
