My sister and I decided to try this restaurant because we saw a post on Facebook that it was good and we love supporting our viet community. Upon arrival staff were friendly and nice! We were in love with the decor inside- nice, clean and modern! They could turn the air down just a tiny bit, we got hot fast but we are always hot so, it might be us LOL. For appetizers we got cheese crab Rangoon & fried shrimp roll. They were both nice and stuffed! The Fried shrimp egg roll actually had a long piece of shrimp throughout the eggroll which is nice cause you're getting shrimp in every bite. The crab Rangoon was nice and balanced with crab and cream cheese. My sister and I both got Bun Bo Hue, it was good and had a lot of lemon grass fragrant. (Which I love.) They're super generous with the meats, I actually like their cha (Vietnamese ham) and I'm kinda picky with that. The BBH is a little on the sweetish side, but you can adjust by adding fish sauce or shrimp paste if needed. Food is very good but service is not good . They tell costumer " I am busy !! Because they bought foodscto the table but I have to asked the server where is my drink!! It's only three tables in the restaurant but the server said " I am busy !! " seriously!! it's your problem busy or not just brlng the drinks to the table!! Mama this is good, real good. I just moved to the area and needed a Vietnamese go to and this hits the spot. I've tried several other pho restaurants off Buford drive and Mama's is going to give them a run for their money! The facility is very clean and elegant. We had no problems with the service on Sunday night! As for the food, my wife and I ordered their pho tai and dac biet. The broth was very clean and tasty. The phos meat to noodle ratio is a good balanced. We also got their summer rolls and I have to agree with another reviewer that it feels a little skimpy. I think adding a little more vermicelli should do the trick. We also tried their version of Bo Luc Lac which was very good as well. For reference, my favorite go to spot for pho is Dai Loi off Pleasant Hill and it's still my favorite but Mama's pho is a close runner up! read more

Several Pho places in Buford and this place is hands down the best I've ever had. I aIways dreaded eating at I Love Pho so my wife decided to google other places around this area and came across this gem. The pho is the best I've ever had anywhere in Atlanta not just Buford. I was also amazed by the service, my cup of water never reached below half a cup. Extremely clean and modern decor, love the open kitchen setup. The service was amazing it was my first time going and the person recommended the best pho to heal my lil stuffy nose. The ambiance was nice it was very chill and I would definitely go again. Food is delicious. The shrimp and pork belly spring roll is authentic, just like my mom's. This is the only restaurant I've been to in Georgia that has pork belly in their spring roll. Bun Bo Hue is flavorful, again just like my mom's. Might need to go into the kitchen to make sure my mom is not back there. Would have included pics but I finished my food before taking them. This was our first time trying Mama's Pho. It took a littler longer than a typical pho place to get our food, they did apologize and was super friendly about it. I would give this place 10 stars if there is an option. My son is autistic and we brought his food inside, and he was trying to hide it , automatically the waiter said " it's ok! It's totally fine and you can eat freely in here !".. oh that made my heart so happy. Most other restaurants wouldn't allow it or would have acted like we were inconvenience. We ordered shaking beef and special Pho and Pho tại, they were all super delicious and the broth was very flavorful . Meat tasted fresh and herbs were super clean. They charge a credit card fee for slow service and mediocre pho. The pho is run of the mill nothing special. I would give them 3 stars for their pho: but what they served as a ban m was unforgivable. Their ban mis are not edible and super disgusting. The meat was this big thick layer of steamed fat with a small tiny ring of meat in it, no seasoning or flavor: just grease and gristle. They must have ran out of pickled vegetables and just substituted grilled onions instead. I took 1 bite and then tossed the rest of the sandwich. I've had 1000s of ban mis in my life and this one was the absolute worst excuse for a ban mi I ever had. I will not be back. read more

new pho spot in town so we decided to check it out. spacious interior with plenty of booth seating, but with enough space to feel comfy. service is fast from order to table. the pho veggies were fresh and plentiful (some places can be skimpy) and the broth and noodles were great.
