I can't believe I am giving a 5 star review to Quest of all places! I am afraid of needles but this…read moremorning was quick and painless. No stress at all. I'm an early bird so I made a 6:30am appointment online. So easy finding availability and their website is easy to navigate. They sent me a link to checkin online so there was no paperwork. I waited less than two minutes before they called me into one of the rooms. My philbotomist was Denise and she was very calming considering I am a big baby. She used a butterfly needle since I have tiny veins. Trust me when I say it was painless. Denise was awesome and I liked her a lot. Very close to FAU & the hospital. I work a few minutes away & convenience is important to me. Everything with this location of Quest is easy. Make your appointment online, then checkin online and they took me on time, maybe even a few minutes early. I was the first one here so this may be much different as the day goes on. My experience was 5 stars and I hope if you come here for labs, you will also have a positive experience. I will definitely come here again if more tests are needed. The office is clean and I felt very comfortable. Both front desk girls said good morning to me & then Denise gave me a warm greeting too. It's always a good feeling to be acknowledged and seeing such happy people at the crack of dawn was a breath of fresh air. They took all the neccessary steps to be covid compliant and you can just tell it is a priority for them to keep us all safe.

I went to Quest this morning for a blood draw, and once again, it was a very frustrating…read moreexperience. Before arriving, I drank about 2 liters of water to help with the process, but it made no difference. As soon as I was called in, I clearly explained to the technician that I consistently have difficulty with blood draws. I told her that my right arm does not produce blood and that my left arm is very difficult. In my last three visits, I was stuck at least three times each time, and they always had to call the most experienced staff member to complete the draw. I even mentioned that during my last visit, they had to recline me with my legs elevated and use a hot pack on my arm just to get it done. Based on that history, I respectfully asked if I could be assisted directly by the most experienced technician. Instead of listening, she became defensive and insisted she knew what she was doing. She proceeded anyway and, as expected, was unable to draw blood. She moved the needle around repeatedly and applied excessive pressure, causing unnecessary discomfort, and still did not succeed. When I reminded her that I had explained this beforehand, she blamed my veins, saying they are too small and "move." She then insisted on trying my right arm, which I had already clearly refused because it has never worked. I had to firmly repeat that I would not allow it. At that point, she became visibly irritated. Only after all of this did she finally bring in a more experienced staff member, who was able to draw my blood successfully. This is not an isolated incident. It has become a pattern at Quest, and I have already reported similar experiences in previous surveys. This situation is completely avoidable. My request is simple: please document in my profile that I am a difficult draw and should be handled by the most experienced technician available. This would prevent unnecessary pain, repeated needle sticks, and stressful interactions for both patients and staff. On top of all this, the same technician added my credit card to my profile and set it for automatic charges without my knowledge or consent. At no point did she ask for my permission or explain that she was doing this. This is completely unacceptable and a serious breach of trust.

I've raised my review one star because at least I got a response from the rep to my complaint. It…read moredid take a full week for them to respond, though. I will add that the phlebotomist / person working at front desk did not present giving my credit card as "optional". She called me to the side desk, asked for my license, insurance, and credit card in a very hurried way. When I asked what the credit card was for, she mumbled something and I don't even know what. Feeling anxious about being tested for medical problems in the first place, I probably should have asked for more info or put up more of a fight but I just went with it. I was already anxious and was not wanting to be seen as one of those crazy, annoying customers that customer service so often has to put up with. Lesson learned, I will put up more of a fight next time. And lesson to all, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. Also please note per attached email that they see nothing wrong in just charging your card and to get your billing info from your insurance company. In what world is that ok? "Charge card first, you can ask another company questions later" seems to be Labcorp's motto. I guarantee there will be a class action lawsuit about this, and I will gladly take part.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this Labcorp location has been completely…read moreunacceptable. During my first visit, the staff struggled to insert my IV properly, which made the procedure much more difficult and painful than it should have been. For my second appointment, it was canceled because the office had ordered the wrong infusion solution and didn't have the medication they needed. Today was even worse. I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to find out that I wasn't even on the schedule. No one called or notified me in advance that my visit wouldn't happen. I wasted my time coming here for nothing. This level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially in a medical facility where patients rely on timely and professional care. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves communication, scheduling, and patient care so others don't have to go through the same experience.

They have a lab on site so my blood work was done there versus having to wait 7 hours at a LabCorp (which if anyone reads this- you know EXACTLY what i'm talking about) Besides the friendly faces throughout my whole visit, the doctor was extremely attentive even though it was my first time! Usually when I go to a healthcare professional for the first time they basically cross off a check list and leave. After a 30 minute wait outside and another 30 minute wait in the examination room LOL. Which leads me into another highlight- the service was quick and efficient. LOVED THAT. All in all, this office treated me like I am a regular of theirs for years and gave me pretty spectacular service. Going to a clinic for your health care needs is extremely personal and you have to find a place that fits your needs. If you're looking for a place you can count on, feel comfortable and receive white glove service, I'd definitely check Glades Medical out. There's dozens of clinics i've been to, so if one stands out to me, I have to give it credit.

This coming from a Physician is saying a lot and we are our own worst critics. Yesterday morning we had an emergency and needed an urgent Ultrasound for a family member and I called our PMD who called in a Rx for us. I then called the scheduling center and spoke to "MIMI" who I found to be very competent but also very polite and compassionate...a true professional in the way she managed my call and expedited our request. These are the unsung heroes in our field who often go Unthanked and unappreciated and for that a special shout-out to MIMI! Fellow YELPERS I would highly recommend DCA in Boca for all your diagnostic needs if you're looking for reliable and efficient place! If god forbid we ever need any Medical Diagnostic Tests this is the place I would definitely recommend! Once again a big thank you to Mimi who got the ball rolling!

This location is gorgeous in set up and is very clean. I had to get two ultra sounds done due to pain. I was able to get a cd right away. And my doctors got my results within 24-48 hours. Turned out nothing to be serious and it was just a cyst and fibroid. Glad I got it checked and tested by getting these tests done. The technician was excellent. She was gentle and good in communication. She told me exactly what she was doing etc. Side Note- They offer drinks if you need them after your tests. They have a variety of sodas, teas, hot chocolate and coffee. ~
