I thought this location closed so I was surprised when I went online to make the appointment and they had availability. I had an 8:10 appointment, got there on time, and was taken immediately. Debbie was fabulous. She drew the blood painlessly and fast. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Excellent service and the results were in the portal 48 hours later. I had an amazing experience at this Quest Diagnostics location thanks to Eddie! I am always a notoriously hard stick, which usually makes blood draws a stressful and painful ordeal. Eddie was incredibly patient, kind, and took his absolute time with me. He got all 4 tubes on the very first try without having to restick me once. Typically my doctor(s) have taken my blood at their offices when I am there for an appointment but like other doctors I've had, they sent me to QUEST DIAGNOSTICS to get my blood tests done.... IN THE PAST, I'd walk in to the office waiting room and go to the service window and sign in... the staff member would verify my doctor's order/request and tell me to sit until they call my name (a lesser wait if you have an appointment but it was not required). BUT ON THIS DAY, I entered the waiting room but then service window was missing.... it was literally gone and now there is only a couple of digital kiosks to sign in. I don't know the info for everything, I have a couple questions and I don't know if I signed in correctly. There is a glass door into the offices so we knock but no one came. AFTER 30 MINUTES my name is called... as I walk to the door, another gentleman that was clearly as frustrated as I was, asked the girl a question... she was rude and short with him. WHY ? ? ? There is no one to help and this guy in about 80 years old left to figure out the digital system. She could've helped but instead she just told him he signed in wrong and to do it again (no offer to assist). Another phlebotomist takes me to a room beyond the glass door and she asks for my doctors order (referral) and I told her it was sent from the doctor's office. She RUDELY told me it was not; so I called right in front of her and they said it was sent and even gave me the date and time. The staff member really did not care and said I need it from the doctor so I told her I will have them send it over right away... didn't matter because the Quest phlebotomist said regardless of when we get it, it will take at least 45 minutes to process. I understand the wait to process but the RUDENESS and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS INTOLERABLE so I left... and the waste of time of not being able to sign in with a staff member (could've told me they were missing my referral before wasting so much time) Per recommendation of one of my doctor's staff members, I ended up at LabCorp... they were night and day to Quest. read more

Seems like the reviews are pretty old on here so here's a new one. This place was great. Had an appointment elsewhere and their computer has been down for three weeks, so I was told. I transferred my appointment to here and what a night and day experience. Early morning appointments (so appreciated when fasting) are easily available a week out (not 3-4 weeks)... The facility was easy to find and there's signage throughout the building so there's no confusion. You can use the kiosk or check in through the link they send you via text. I arrived ten minutes early like they ask and I was in, out, done, and back in my car prior to my appointment time. My only regret is I only wish I'd asked the name of the woman who drew my blood because she was one of the nicest, happiest people I've ever seen at 7:30am. I've already recommended this location to my parents who are senior citizens. Highly recommend. Clean, fast, caring staff, easy check in. I need to recheck everything in 3 months and this is where I'll go. read more

I know the reviews aren't great but I wanted to leave a 5 star review. Had my physical and needed blood work done. I came in as a walk-in since my schedule is all over the place. They were able to fit me into their busy schedule. The phlebotomist who attended to me was very professional and did a great job. I didn't even feel the needle going in. Definitely recommend to all who need blood work in the area. Another plus is the location is very very clean. All the rooms are clean including the waiting room. read more

I have been coming to this 18th ST location for many years. Today is my last. Had an appointment at 9:40 and arrived at 9:25. Signed in on my phone and waited. At 10:10 I spoke up and told the phlebotomist at the door, my appointment time. She came back and asked if I signed in, yes I had and showed her my hard copy appointment. They had no record of my appointment and I would have to sign in again as a no appointment patient. Thank you but no way was I going to wait all day. I turned around and left, By the way, the phlebotomist was the same one I had the last time, who ever so skillfully gave me a hematoma that wrapped around my arm and took three weeks to heal. I called Quest scheduling. They had a 12:40 appointment not far away which was scheduled for me. Hopefully this will go smoothly. read more

Writing this on behalf of my wife who had a 7;45 appointment for routine blood work ordered by her physician. Thought would be at work by 9. Arrived ahead and was told to wait in car and would be texted when ready. Waited until 9:30 and left. Look, you expect to wait when you have an appointment with a doctor or blood work, but this is unacceptable. Add insult to injury, she fasted for nothing. To make matters worse she was tested for Covid19 10 days ago at the Quest tent set up at Home Depot. Still waiting for results. I went to the FAU site two days after her and already have my results. read more

My husband and I made our appointments for fasted bloodwork about 3 weeks ago. This is our first time at the Quest on 18th Street. The office was sunny, bright and clean. Turns out, they didn't have the "directions" from our primary care physician. UGH! This was totally my mistake - I never told our a doctor we set up our appts. The team allowed me to call my doctors office and wait while they sent everything over. The nurses were kind, friendly, professional and accommodating. If you don't have an appointment just do NOT go! Although appointments were booked for the next 3 weeks both the phone message and the website encouraged you to walk in but that "appointments will have priority." I walked in at 7:02 am and checked in at the kiosk. My name came up on the screen showing "5 minutes". Moments later I heard a shrill "Ma'am! Ma'am! Do you have an appointment?" One of the buttons on the kiosk asks that question - so she knew I did not. I said "no... one wasn't available for a month." (I just needed routine blood work.) Short story... they claim they no longer take anyone without an appointment - I tried to explain what "priority" meant and said I would gladly wait my turn... but no one else was there... At this point the two technicians come out of the back and it is 7:15 and I have 3 people arguing with me about their policy while with the same breath they COULD HAVE smiled and accommodated me. As I am leaving a man walks in and she bellows "Sir! Sir! Do you have an appointment?" He did, but not until 7:30. They STILL would have had plenty of time to help me if they had been inclined to do so. Suffice it to say I know how long a blood draw takes and I could have been in and out of their in 10 minutes but instead started my day in an unproductive and confrontational manner while these three female employees who appeared to be interpreting "company policy" as a way NOT service a client or to NOT actually work and get the bonus of dishing out some verbal abuse on an unsuspecting person who got up at 6:30 to be there early and hadn't even had a cup of coffee yet! If this is Quest's policy then they have lost my business (this location has for certain). I will be so glad when the Covid testing locations continue to cut back more and more and facilities like these can get proper employees with good attitudes who want to work and serve their customers. read more

This location has plenty of parking shared with the other plaza businesses; elevator building, everything clearly marked. They took me in a few minutes before my appointment, and my med tech was efficient, friendly, and 100% knew what she was doing... I'm not kidding, I literally did not know she had put in a needle. WORST treatment! On 2 separate occasions the staff at the 18th street location was impolite, unhelpful and claimed "I'm doing this as a courtesy" when my young child passed out from giving 7 vials of blood. When I asked for a cup of water for him and perhaps some ice; I was told "we don't have any", yet another staff member came with both! We left without completing all the bloodwork as my son was so upset from her pressing down on his vein with the needle inserted that he passed out cold. Second visit was only to drop off a specimen and when I asked for confirmation that the doctor sent all the tests (as there were tests added to the original RX) I was told in a dismissive tone "it's what is here". I asked again for help getting the proper test in the system and she said "no". It is SICK that staff members in an industry that is to provide "care" for others would be so unhelpful and uncaring. It's scary enough when one's child is sick only to have it compounded by nasty people that we need in order to get answers and test results. Needless to say, I won't be going there ever again and don't recommend anyone to go there either! read more

I chose to drive to this location after my poor experience at the 441 location. I'm so glad I did! The extra drive was well worth it. I had an 8:30 apptmt. Checked in via text & waited in car. I was called to come in after just a couple minutes. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I wish I would've asked the nurses name bc she was great! Hardly felt the needle go in and had a quick friendly chat. Makes all the difference. Super efficient! FYI: Quest is on the 3rd floor of the building. TIP: I don't know how they're handing walk-ins at this location so I would definitely advise to find out first because the website doesn't reflect if they are not. That is a major programming flaw and should be addressed. read more

Made an appointment for a specialized blood test made it far enough in advance that had all my contact information they knew which test I was taking waited till I got there after rearranging my whole day to tell me that they're unable to do the test that I have to reschedule no apologies no nothing. Horrible trying to schedule appt. the line hangs up, so decided to walk into clinic after listening to recording and yes they said they take walk in. When I go to 1815 West Hillsboro the nurse in waiting room said no walk in and I said my dr faxed over prescription and she rudely said I would have to wait to see if they got it. I told her they didn't update their phone announcements she didn't care. So just saying go somewhere else for a better facility. RUDE unprofessional and total ghetto office. So I walked in the door at this location because my appointment in Deerfield Beach was cancelled by Quest. They as me if I have an appointment and tell me I can't get my blood work done without one. I quickly explain that my appointment was cancelled by Quest and she tells me they will do it then. I'm not told good morning as I walk in the door. I'm not asked how I'm doing either. I'm then told that I must have a mask to be treated. I had done my laundry that morning and mistakenly forgot my clean masks at my mom. I then inform the woman I will be back in an hour. As I'm waiting at the elevator the same woman comes out to the hallway and hands me a mask. Then I sit down. After 20 min it yes they call me to the window. She tells me I need paperwork. I tell her, "If you like, I will call my doctors office and get it." She then says, "If I like? You MUST have it!" I call and get it sent by my doctors office. The woman who sent it tell me it's going through while I'm on the phone with her. Ten minutes later, I approach the window and tell her it's been sent. She responds, "No it hasn't!" 15 minutes later I'm sitting here typing this review and I haven't been notified if they have it yet. I hear absolutely nothing. As far as the women who work here I would say it's a terrible situation! They negativity they put out is alarming! I literally feel like I'm in the Ghetto and the women who work here act like they are doing customers a favor for coming! They aren't friendly or accommodating in any way! How does this company even operate? I've now been here an hour and I'm still waiting. To be continued..... So she finally acknowledges that they have my paperwork and brings me into the office. I give her my insurance card per her request. Now she's telling me I have to pay a collection account fee of $14 in order for her to do my bloodwork! I told her, I'm out of here and she then tells me don't come back! Literally every single time I have come to Quest Diagnostics I'm an treated like crap! I'm Done! The employees that work here are completely rude and unprofessional. Their automated system kiosks lets walk-ins check in, and their phone system does NOT state that walk ins are not accepted, but rather that appointments are suggested. BUT- the system malfunctioned never giving me a confirmation code. Despite showing her the email and texts, she said no appointment since no confirmation code and kicked me out. Best experience I've had in a quest! Checked in in my car, got the alert I could go inside so I went in and waited for my name to be called. Got there a little early so I waited until about 5 minutes before my appt time and headed on in. April did an AMAZING job. She input my info quick and she was SO FAST drawing my blood. Fastest experience I've ever had and the most painless. She was very nice and made light conversation to help distract me from the needle. BEWARE!!! Was handed a paper to sign that said my signature confirmed that I was witnessing label with my name being attached to blood vial PRIOR to having blood drawn . I said why am I being handed this paper first? She then wrestled the paper and pulled it out of my hand, ran to the unmanned desk ( I followed her ) and proceeded to shove the paper in the shredder. Wow! I suspect there is a reason they have you sign this. I walked to another doorway and complained to another tech who was with a patient. I then left the office called the corporate number and made a formal complaint. This happened a year ago but I'm still upset about it so I came back here to leave review. I would never go back to this place. Not only did I have to go back again the next day because the technician missed part of my blood work but it literally brook my heart to see how these un professional workers treated people there. There was a person that was there because he had kidney disease and needed blood work done right away and was refused because he didn't have an appointment and was given such a hard time. It was mind boggling because there was no one there but just us and they refused to take him. Also as I was waiting an elderly couple came in signed in and they were also asked if they had an appointment which they said they did. Well the technician said to them that they did not and was refusing to take them. I just don't know how quest is running this place. It's not fun getting your blood drawn at least not for me. I've been to this particular Quest Diagnostics center several times to have blood work done, etc. It is a little hard to find if you have never been before (and parking is scarce during the day); note that they are located on the second floor of one of the buildings on the east side of this business complex. The waiting room is small but tidy. When you arrive, sign in at the front window, take a seat and wait for the staff to call your name. I don't believe you need to make an appointment in advance, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to do so. Once you are called, you will proceed through a door into the main office and check in with someone at one of the windows. There's another small waiting room here where you have to wait until you're called back to one of the testing rooms. This area is bright and clean, which is nice. Getting ordinary blood work done here hasn't taken me any longer than 10 minutes or so, and the phlebotomists are very friendly and efficient. Typically you can simply leave right after the procedure is finished. Overall, I would not have a problem recommending this center if you need any type of diagnostic testing performed. read more

This place was horrible. Walked in at 2:15 and signed in for my six year old to get bloodwork. Waited an hour then was told they were going home and not seeing anyone else. I had to beg them to see him. They were extremely rude and horrible, the worst kind of people are employed there. Disgusting people. read more
