I showed up to LabCorp after hours, not realizing they were already closed. I felt bad for the timing, but I asked if I could just ask a quick question--and to my surprise, the lady at the front kindly said yes. I was looking for an estimate on 17 different lab tests as I do not have insurance, and despite the office already being closed, she took the time to help me and provided the full estimate right then and there. She TYPED each 17 test code on the computer! I've honestly never experienced that level of service before. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. I really wish I had gotten her name, because she absolutely deserves a raise and recognition for going above and beyond. Huge thanks to her and to LabCorp for having such amazing staff. Not only horrible service. Appointment not honored, wife had to wait an hour before giving up. Went back next day, no apologies and had to wait again. Saw the tech, who was nice (and needs to find a better place to work) and now, a month later, it turns out that our health provider never got the results and, unless they can sort it out, we will need to go though the whole gruesome experience again. read more

My doctor and I did not get the result, so I tried to contact the Lab corp. but it is not possible to reach them directly. I spent half of the day trying to solve this problem. I went into the LabCorp on Glades Rd in Boca Raton, Florida yesterday and they charged me $151.93 to do blood tests. They gave me a print out of my bill which has 10 items on it (and NO invoice numbers) and I paid for some of them. This is quite disturbing because these charges aren't valid and now I get an email my results are ready and my online account has NO results NOR bills. I called the customer service and they foreign based, and get angry because I don't have an invoice number. I'm caught in an unresolvable loop so I'm really hoping LabCorp sees this and tries to help me out! read more

I'm horrible at getting my bloodwork, because I have such small veins, everybody has issues drawing my blood, but Portia was so beyond kind, incredibly gentle, and quick! Portia at labcorp on Glades is AMAZING. I have a huge fear of getting blood taken and haven't had it taken in 4 years, and even 4 years ago I was literally put under anesthesia to get it taken. I had to have this blood test done emergently, and was scared to come in alone as this is my college town and I do not have family here. Portia was SO good at calming my nerves and getting the test done quickly. I am so so grateful she was working when I came in I have nothing bad to say at all. read more

I made an appointment the night before to try to avoid an extended wait time being so that's what I'm used to dealing with when I visit any labcrop establishment. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and promoted to check in. Checking in was smooth and easy and the wait time was no more then 10 minutes after checking in. I was in and out of there within 25 minutes. Highly recommend especially if you're running in a tight schedule. read more

This location is better than the first one I went to this morning in that it was cleaner and in a better location. The fiest one while they said took walk ins had 15 people waiting in a small room with no estimation of how long it would take. This was for preemployment screening and i was still working out my notice so didnt have time to wait all day. So instead i made an appt at the only one of 5 that had appts available before my testing deadline. Arrived checkin and waited in my car. Got the text that I was up soon. After 2 others were called in ahead of me I thought to check that I didnt miss my name being called. I did not. In fact they didnt even have me in their system dispite me receiving and email and text confirmation of the apt and a second text saying they were ready for me. This is the absolutely worst pre-employment experience I have ever been through. read more

This place is run like a heart-less machine. You better have an appointment... OR you better get there 5 minutes BEFORE they open. I can tell the staff is over-worked and being asked to do too-much for this number of patients rolling in that door every 5 minutes. Most patients appear to not speak English fluently and that is stressing out the staff as well. Do yourself a favor... be VERY NICE to them... and they will be VERY NICE to you. Be understanding... because in about 15 minutes, one of them is going to being putting a needle into your arm. And only THEY have the choice: make it hurt, or make it painless. Oh my this Lab Corp was amazing! The two ladies who work there (wish I got there names) were so helpful and kind. I was stuck here in Boca Raton due to the weather and was suppose to start IVF and needed bloodwork. They were so understanding and got me in and out and my doctor up north received results in hours! My husband had need of a specific blood test to be done at 7 am after taking a one-pill prescription the night before. We were told by our closest LC lab to make an appointment on line. I tried numerous sites. The closest I could come within the next 3 weeks was 730 AM 20 minutes away. I received numerous email confirmations. We arrived at the Yamato Road Walgreen's at 7 and went in. We sat at the designated 2-chair area after I checked in from my phone. A tech came out, walked by, and said nothing. No one else was there. He came back 10 minutes later and walked by us again when I asked could we go in early since no one else was there. He said, "We're closed. Have been for two weeks. Go to another location." I explained that I had a recent confirmation, my husband had to have this test as close to 7 as possible or go through the process again. He said, "Here's a list of other places" and went into the lab. I scrambled to the site 5 minutes from my house. Luckily, there were only 2 other people. I explained my problem and the tech said they had gotten a slew of people from that location yesterday! We were taken in at 7:45. Hope that time was close enough. What a colossal mess! I had a very interesting experience here getting a drug test for new employment. I first looked up the hours on the site and they stated they opened at 7:30am. So I drove there and arrived promptly at 7:30am. Myself and one other person were there, waiting outside in the rain for the doors to open. However, no one showed up. We stood for a good 20 minutes. I called the number listed on the site and nothing. So I left, very disappointed. Why claim to be open certain hours and then not honor that? The door even stated they opened at 7:30am. I went to work and then decided to schedule an appointment for that day. I noticed that no appointments started before 9am on weekdays, so maybe they don't open until then? Not sure. Luckily I was able to get an appointment that day. SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT or you will wait for hours. As I arrived, people claimed to have been waiting for 2 hours. There was a woman losing her sh@t in the lobby blaming the staff for losing her specimen and having to come back and wait a few hours for another test. She was completely belittling the staff (short staffed and only 2 people on that day). They finally took her back after she threw a fit in front of the entire lobby of frustrated customers waiting for service. I was lucky to get in just a few minutes after waiting as I had made an appointment and then checked in at the kiosk inside. The nurse was very nice even after having been verbally attacked by the crazy lady. She was visibly embarrassed. I felt terrible for her and the other staff member, who was also very polite. After checking in, my visit was easy and quick. It only took about 5 minutes and they didn't lose my specimen. :-) But please, make an appointment before arriving. Also, I would not recommend arriving at 7:30am because no one will be there. read more

I have been to this location in Boca several times in the last few weeks. The longest I've waited (with an appointment) was 30 minutes - I think it was a day when they were doing drug-testing. Most of the time, I was in an out within 10 minutes. Today I had Lisa draw my blood and I'm not exaggerating when I say I did not even feel the needle. Not even a prick. Normally that's not my experience but today was better than most. I had a 12pm appt and left at 12:10. I'm sure there are some days when the staff is a little frustrated with walk-ins or with the volume of patients, but I think that's understandable given that I'm sure most patients who are there to do blood-work are not exactly excited to get jabbed with needles. read more

She had to deal with A LOT of people, some not so nice (especially the lady who was "on-call," you would think she would have empathy for people in medical field). Octavia did her best juggling so many issues with paperwork and appts. AND she was very kind and patient to my daughter who is on the spectrum and very nervous. The depressing waiting room here can only be described as prison-cell bleak. While waiting to have some routine blood work done, a male staffer was loudly ordering lunch for all to hear, as a small television droned on in an endless loop of LabCorp infomercials. A waiting client on her cell phone, speaking loudly in Spanish, competed with the infomercials. Meanwhile, no magazine or reading material could be found anywhere to break up the waiting room dreariness. Finally, my name was mercifully called and I was led off by one of the female vampires to another charming small room. After two failed attempts to draw blood, one in each arm, a very competent, confident and friendly male vampire was ushered in to save the day. Presto, blood was flowing like Niagara Falls, and I was finally out of there. My prior insurance company had used Quest Diagnostics. I found them much better than this experience. If I have to come back to LabCorp again, it bloody well won't be this one. read more

The bad was it took 2 weeks to get the results which is not acceptable. If it's not the fault of the location, then the rating is a 4. First I want to mention that I would have given 5 stars to the lab tech Rachel. She was kind and went out of her way to help me and to give myself and others great service. However the other Lab tech clearly hates her job and went out of the way to be confrontational. I received a random FAA drug screening and went to this location. There was a man of line in front of me who was dropping off a stool sample in a sealed plastic envelope with a plastic sample tube inside. The Lab tech who was a causation female in her 40s with lighter hair asked him, what is this? He meekly said a drop off sample. Of what, she said sounding annoyed. He said all the paperwork is here, she said is it a stool sample? Loud enough for everyone in the lobby to here. Yes he said. Well it is the wrong container. It has to be in one of these? Put the sample in this bottle. Now this young man is embarrassed and said I have to return again with a new sample. And the Lady says or you can transfer the sample to this container. He looked horrified. She then asked what is the test was for anyway? How the hell is that any of her concern. He says his doctor ordered it. At this point Rachel steps up and says it is Ok I will help this young man, this sample is fine. The container is fine and I will except this from you. Thanks and have a great day. He quickly leaves. After a few minutes of this woman telling Rachel that she would never have taken that sample Rachel once again with a smile said to her. It's fine. The other woman was clearly pissed. She finally looked up at me. Good day, I say I am here for FAA drug testing. Where is your paperwork? My company faxed it here. Well I am Not accepting that form it is a fax. And before I can respond she looks at me like a 5 year old and says "I am not going to do it". Why not I ask, and she shows me the fax she received. We need a hard copy. As I was trying to explain to "Karen" not her real name and I wish that I got her real name.... My company always sends It in Fax forms and they have always accepted it. The nice black woman "Rachel"says from computer behind the Kerman, Is your name Mr W? Yes ma'am it is. Rachel says, This fax is fine. it has the number on it and "that"is all We need. Please sit in room 4, I will be right with you. Karen is now even more unhappy. Again telling Rachel that she should not help me. Five minutes later Rachel enters room four and is both kind and friendly and I am out of the door 10 minutes later. While I was waiting for the paperwork I hear "Karen" scold another customer for texting. Not a voice call just for texting or maybe even just looking at his phone. She said you need to put that phone away now! Like talking to her own child. Once again she clearly hates her job and is a total Karen. Thanks Rachel for professionalism and kindness. read more

ZERO STARS! Their unofficial business motto is...we're lousy, we know it and we don't care! You can't call their offices or locations. The phone numbers are "secret". Seriously. You make the appointment on line and EVERY time you go, they claim you have no appointment. I arrived 3 minutes early for a 2:45 apt. NO one at reception desk. I can hear receptionist's big mouth joking and laughing in the back. When I arrived there were no patients waiting to be seen or exiting. I signed in but she finally comes out and says, '...whose next'. I told her I was and that I had signed in. She copped an attitude and then abandoned the desk completely and went back to laughing with a coworker. After she finally returns, I give her my D/L and ins card, she claims I have no appointment. I call Drs office (located on top floor of same bldg). They confirm Dr put note and request into system that they have access to in Jan. Receptionist called my Drs office a liar. I called Drs office while in waiting room and they faxed the referral (the database is supposed to alleviate that, but whatever...) Soooo...she ignores the fax. Then, when she finally acknowledges it, she gets annoyed that it was faxed 2ce. Of course they faxed it 2ce, your claiming I have no apt and no referral! She makes a big show of tearing up the second fax. 2:45 apt ... 3:45 finished. Again, there was no one when I got there. I was their first afternoon apt. People arrived after me and watched as she took people, one after another as I sat. The problem is there is no accountability with this company. No local phone to call to complain. Called customer service ( North Carolina) and after 20 minute que, they hung up on me. Why? They're no doubt busy hanging up on 100 other patients irate with their lousy practices. They do drug screening and treat everyone as though they were addicts at the methadone clinic. I was there for blood works. I'm not there for a 'urine drop'. I wish I could say other locations were better. They're not. I guess they bid cheap to big insurance companies and staffers work with no professionalism or supervision. Wish I could leave a zero rating. I had an appointment scheduled but came early. The first thing I noticed is that the guy at the counter could hardly speak clearly. And he's an American so there's no excuse. The waiting room was empty and he told me to wait. Within a few minutes, several people came in and also had trouble understanding him. The waiting room looks dingy and depressing. Then he took me to the back to provide my sample and the bathroom looked dirty. He again mumbled something when I came out and had me sign some papers after which I left. One older woman in the waiting room asked me what she should do and I said just ask him how long it will be. Quest will be the only place I go to in the future. LabCorp SUCKS! Poor (nonexistent actually) customer service, dirty and depressing atmosphere, sullen employees all add up to a big NO! read more

Just left this den of hostile, unprofessional staffers. There must be a scarcity of qualified technicians and staff indeed, if this is the best they can hire in the Boca Raton location. They screech and cackle like they are at a Scorcese blood fest instead of a medical facilty drawing your blood. These nutty chicks have more in common with the cauldron witches of Shakespeare's McBeth, than with a profession caring for patients. These staffers' idea of customer service is to start screeching at you the minute you walk in. Today, the day before Thanksgiving, they were upset that at 2:30 pm, too many patients were walking in. So their greeting was screamed "there will be at least one hour wait..." My unsuspecting husband who has a vision handicapp, was subjected to these witches as they decided that they would not honor the exact doctors' orders he has been bringing them for months. They berated him and spoke to him rudely as he patiently attempted to explain his previous visits with the exact same paperwork. As people tend to do when someone speaks a foreign language, even though we were all speaking english, the witches kept screaming at him louder and louder in an attempt to make him understand. This entire experience was so vile that it is difficult to relay the flavor. When I calmly asked these two women to please "dial it down", they acted insulted then proceded to refuse to acknowledge the faxed orders which our doctor sent them. They ordered my handicapped husband to stop standing by the side of their customer window and sit down like he was a third grader. Rather than allow these women to ruin our holiday with their inappropriate conduct, we left the premises and plan to file a complaint with our insurance company who sent us there. Save yourself this experience and don't visit this Lab...everything you read in their other reviews is true....terrible, nasty place! read more
