I actually didn't even mean to come here - I was trying to cut the line at the light when I looked up and saw boba.. then I saw drive thru. What an experience! Never have heard of that before, what a cool concept. Menu is plentiful and lots of the drinks already have boba or jellies included in the price which I absolutely love. Theres plenty of smoothie, milk teas, coffee, fruit teas to choose from. If you can't make up your mind, there is a recommendations right smack of the middle of the menu. Staff was very friendly over the intercom. I ordered 2 Thai teas, sub coffee jelly, and a Strawberry Lychee Tea. Whenever I get drinks I always request light ice because boba places like to pack the ice and cut back on the actual good stuff. The worker asked me if I wanted to pay an extra .30 cents for them to fill it up to the top with drink - uh what? Did I hear that correctly? I have to pay extra for my drink? That was pretty wack in itself. I declined because that's just a wack concept. If I'm already paying close to five bucks for a drink I'd hope you'd give me it full and not skimp out. Unfortunately they were true to their word and left a nice inch under the cup. The order itself took a while, which I expect because the ~art~ of boba is not quick like Starbucks. I can see this becoming a problem if they ever have a rush though, with a line of cars. The actual taste of my Strawberry Lychee drink is good. For some reason the strawberry bits gave me a strawberry banana vibe - would be nice to have added lychee jelly instead since I don't taste any lychee. I came here last night. So many plus's. The quality fresh ingredients, the drive thru (dangerous) and how they have a little Vietnamese flare to their stuff. I mean, legit who even ever serves nuoc mat and nuoc Sam??? Especially in the middle of Mckinney/Allen area? I got the coconut smoothie, which is more semi slushy/semi smoothie with actual coconut flakes. I paired it with mango jelly, and it reminded me of mango sticky rice in a drink. So good!! The possibilities are endless here. I would love to recommend they somehow include Pandan in their menu to go with their theme. I'm so conflicted as there's a lot of Boba places but this will be my go to for both convenience and quality boba. read more

We love supporting these small/local businesses but sometimes the tea places don't open till 11am and it sucks! But Magic Cup was open and ready to get me caffeinated! I also love that they advertise their lattes on their menu and give great recommendations on what to get. I tried a lavender, vanilla latte with oat milk...freaking amazing! The space is also really cute and has indoor and outdoor seating options. I love the tile on the coffee bar, it's so fun and makes for great pictures! Super nice, brand new boba shop in McKinney with a drive-through! Stopped by today during their soft and grand opening and it is a very clean and welcoming environment with friendly staff. Really fun environment for the kids to get a cold treat on hot summer days. Not your typical boba shop as they have a huge variety of specialty teas and smoothies with fresh ingredients and fruits. My kids and I tried the Aloe Chia drink (25% sweet), Strawberry Mango smoothie (50% sweet) and a cereal milk macaroon ice cream and we really enjoyed it. Loved that we could adjust the sweetness level because I'm not big on sweets and don't want my kids to have too much sugar either. So awesome that there is a drive-thru boba tea place in Dallas. I love drinking the jasmine green tea and arthichoke tea (nuoc mat). I like how the teas are made fresh daily and they have lots of choices for toppings like chia seeds, herbal jelly, and white boba. My kids love the fresh fruit smoothies especially the watermelon or cha-mango. It's a healthy treat for them. You can taste the real fruit blend in the smoothies. The smoothie they recommended was avocado which sounded disgusting (is an avocado a fruit? I got two fruit smoothies with boba and they separated completely within a few minutes. My wife and I love the cha strawberry drink here - spicy and sweet! I also wanted to try the taro milk tea (it's decaf), got it 50% sweet with boba instead of the default lychee jelly. Me and my daughter decided to stop for some tea . As we ordered the lady taking our order informed me that they would not have any boba ready for another 20 minutes . We decided to ask for some recommendations and was told to sub for lychee instead . My daughter ordered the iced honey green tea with boba originally but subbed per recommendation for the lycee . When we got our drinks she wasn't a fan . I went back and asked if we could change the drink and the employee offered to drain the same drink . I asked if I could pay the difference for a fruit tea instead . I was told that it's against "policy" to take care of the customer and switch out the drink . The window associate then proceeded to take the drink and tell me it's not her fault my daughter doesn't like the drink, and was extremely sarcastic even rolled her eyes a few times . she stated that we would just need to pay for a new drink . I did ask for the manager who said her name was Tam , she repeated that she could only drain the drink after her associate also took the drink back . I was confused as the customer that I would need to basically pay for another $5 drink when they recommended it and we stated we would pay a difference for a new drink . I understand not wanting to be wasteful but why would we Be forced to keep a drink we didn't enjoy that was recommended . The lady put so much sweetness in my drink that I wanted to puke after I took just one sip. I went to the lady to say if she could re-do my drink. The girl said that I had to pay for another drink so that I can modify. Wow! I told the lady that it was too sweet for me and she said, "Oh its because of your taste, and because of our chai tea artificial powder, and the powder is sweet." She said she could add more milk snd that it would taste like milk. I said I am suposed to have a REAL chai tea not an artificial powder. This is the perfect place to grab a drink! The interior is spacious and well-lit (thanks to the high ceilings and windows), complemented by modern, warm decorations. Staff members are kind and welcoming, but they are also fast and efficient when it comes to serving drinks. Owners of this location are incredibly hard-working and go above and beyond to make sure all of their customers are well-served. The drinks are also tasty, as one might expect from the Magic Cup franchise. While I've tried a variety of drinks on the menu, my favorite is usually coffee-based. If you want a more subtle coffee, try the Cold Brew Sea Foam (cold) or opt for a far stronger Dark or Medium Roast Cafe Sua Da, and Viet Frappe (also strong, so be aware if you have a low caffeine tolerance) is another option. Their fruit drinks, especially the Cha-series, are delicious! Fruit are always FRESH!! I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're a local to the area - you will love everything about it! read more

I'm not such a huge fan of yogurt or milk based smoothies. I prefer a light and refreshing option from time to time and this place affords me that enjoyment! My favorite is the watermelon smoothie!
