I had a beautiful light green Aritzia dress with make up stains after a wedding that I could not get out! Obviously the dress was expensive and I wanted to salvage it so the team at Magic Cleaners took the time to clean it twice and the stain out. The dress is as good as new and the price was reasonable! I've been here twice and I'm sold. They have great customer service, my clothes come out looking great and I love that they text when ready - and they're early. REDEEMED. UPDATE 01/17/21: After my buttons were damaged, Koko reached out to me to make this right; and he did. He spent weeks of his own time calling Ted Baker to find the original buttons. When they didn't have the replacements, he scoured around the city to local manufacturers and various suppliers, online, to find the closest match as possible. During that time, he kept following up with me periodically to update me on the status. He went above and beyond. Eventually, he found the most suitable buttons that were available to match the suits and covered it out of his own pocket because he said that he believes in making things right for his customers. Normally, I would treat this as a line, but his actions showed me otherwise. He even gave tips on how I should tell future cleaners to protect the buttons and prevent this same problem (by foil covering them). I won't need to worry about telling a future cleaner because I'll be going back to Koko. Thank you, Koko. read more

May 2022 I'm back at Magic Cleaners after the pandemic closed super-special Oak Knoll Cleaners. Magic is just like before: fine for standard shirts and pants. Anything fancy or special will need at least 2 tries and it still won't be perfect. I made a test run, so you don't have to. Magic is centrally located and will keep your basics clean...faint praise, but praise nonetheless. read more

Updating from 5 stars to 3.5 stars. I liked them at first, as I like how they tag and name everything in their system and have good rates overall. However, my recent experiences have not been great. On a few occasions, I didn't receive my clothes on the day they were supposed to be ready for delivery. They just wouldn't show up and wouldn't even call to give me a heads up. Each every time I would have to call and ask for status updates. And just recently I brought in a brand new, never worn, white top for cleaning and pressing before wear and it came back with black stains on it. Like what the heck! And They gave it back to me and still charged me for it. I brought it right back to show them and they apologized and said they would remove the stains. So I left my shirt with them for a few more days. My husband then went to pickup the blouse for me, and the owner assured him that he was able to remove the stains, but when my husband brought my shirt home, the stains were still there AND they still charged me for their error. After these nuisances, I am strongly considering finding a new cleaner as I am nervous that this will keep happening. read more

Have been a client for many years but stopped during pandemic. Coming back was sticker shock for sure. The service is excellent but their prices are extreme. I paid $27 for a jumpsuit and $17 for a pair of pants. $127 for 9 articles of clothing WITH 20% off! Ridiculous. Will not be coming back. read more

Used them for the first time to get some jeans hemmed. Greeted as soon as I walked in, customer service is top notch. My jeans were ready much quicker than expected and they looked great. Rarely, do I need to get my clothing altered, but I came here in late August to get a bridesmaid dress hemmed last minute for my sister's wedding (needed within the week). I rarely get anything altered, so I'm unsure what is the decent pricing, but it seemed pricey to me. My dress needed to shorten the straps and hem 3 layers of chiffon ($100+). The lady who altered my dress seemed like she knew what she was doing-- Boy was I in for it. On the day I picked up my dress, it was a mess. The straps were still long, the hem was much shorter than I wanted, and stains were left on my dress! Many places would dry-clean your garment after altering, but not this place. So I left with stains on my dress and bad alterations. Not worth it. read more

Magic Cleaners has done an excellent job with our dry cleaning. They provide timely/prompt service and are always friendly. Their customer service is fantastic. I appreciated how, after I dropped off some dresses, they called me to discuss with me the risks of cleaning certain items and offering me alternatives. I also once had a rush repair that I needed undertaken and they weren't able to handle it on such super short notice so they referred me to another alterations shop, which was awesome. I had my wedding dress dry cleaned here after my socially distanced COVID wedding. I went to them because they offered the fairest prices in the area for what appeared to be the best quality service based on the reviews, and their website has a specialty section for wedding gowns so I trusted that they had cleaned one or two before. The lady who works there is super sweet and when I got my gown back she charged me less than the quoted price. The dress looks spotless and is in pristine condition. I am planning to return to this cleaners next year after I have my post - COVID wedding ceremony! read more

I have brought my clothes to Magic Cleaners for years, my clothes always come back in great condition. To give an example, I dropped my Theory trench coat for dry clean 2 weeks ago. The second day morning I got a message from Mike saying that despite the instruction reads for dry clean only, because there's a plastic black line, the high temperature from dry clean could potentially damage that black line. Instead, they could do a hand wash. After I confirmed that I'll take full responsible for any damage and the cleaning method is at their choice, they took the job. The coat looks brand new when I picked it up. BTW, if you download their application, they usually have great promotions. I highly recommend it to anyone. I love this place! read more

I'm pretty disappointed in Magic Cleaners after reading all of the positive reviews! I initially decided to come here because they quoted me at $18 for zipper replacement on a pair of short, which was a few dollars less than other quotes I got. After taking them in, I was told it would actually be $25. I messaged the owner on Yelp and was told he would look into it, which never happened. Unfortunately I needed my shorts back, so I had to deal with it and get them. $25 is what I paid for these shorts, so that's pretty steep for me. The work done on them is not the best either - they're a bit sloppy at the end of the zipper. Overall, I got what I needed and my zipper is now fixed, but I wouldn't come here again based on this experience. read more

They turn around dry cleaning on a timely basis and the staff is pleasant. The quality is good and the price is fair. I especially like how they have an app-based loyalty program. Their location is convenient and they have their own parking lot, albeit fairly small. They will send you a notification when your items are ready for pick up, which is a nice touch. Be sure to remove all the stuff in your pockets, though. I may have left my pocket square in my jacket's pocket on my first visit and now I can't find it anywhere. read more

I tried Magic a few months ago and so pleasantly surprised when I got my clothes back. How are the reviews so high for this place? Do I really have such bad luck with dry cleaners? This place is extremely unresponsive. I had to stop by at a total of 4 times to pick up my item. When I called no one answered, and I never received any communications regarding delays. In addition, the prices are astronomical. I dry cleaned a suit and a dress and it cost $50. Are you kidding me? No prices are posted so I'm sure they were jerking me around or over charging me. The dress dry cleaning was like 30% of the value of the dress. This place was an absolute waste of my time and was such a displeasure to work with. Will never get my business again. Stay away from this place. To be honest- I wasn't that impressed. I spend a lot of time finding clothes that fit me correct and take a great deal of pride in how I look, and most of all- I spend a LOT of money on my things, including dry cleaning them- and this was not money well spent. $90 later and I have clothes that aren't clean and pants that aren't pressed. Dropped off 15 dress shirts the other day. Usually I launder and press my own shirts but with a new baby I didn't have time to do it this time around. so I decide to give magic cleaners a try since it is just around the corner from my office. Customer service was good. first time customers receive 10% off and reusable bag with a travel sewing kit. Now to the shirts, all the shirts were pressed fine with the exception of the broadcloth/poplin dress shirts. Which tend to be a little more difficult to press from my own personal experience. If I am going to pay $2.25 a shirt Ivexpect it to be pressed correctly. There were several wrinkles on the yoke/shoulders and near the top button. I will have to repress these sections before I wear them out. Overall good cleaners but I wouldn't take my dress shirts back there again. read more

I rarely use a dry cleaner for their laundry services but I was extremely busy with work and they are conveniently located around the corner. I had tons of laundry, I called to confirm they do laundry services, they confirmed they do and that they charge by the pound. I said on my way. Never did I think I'd have to explain basic laundry procedures to a business that says they do laundry professionally. I'm talking basic stuff like separating darks from colors. When I received my laundry, I was shocked! Actually saddened because one of my favorite sweaters was ruined. It was a yellow sweater and it's obvious they threw it in with a black sweaters and it came out covered with black lint. I tried shaving them off but a thin layer of black lint remains and it looks dirty. It's literally ruined! I DO NOT RECOMMEND NOR WOULD I EVER REFER ANYONE TO THIS BUSINESS. I don't know why I ever decide to try cleaners in closer proximity to my apt. They all disappoint in comparison to Magic Cleaners. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so. They're efficient, cheap, and clean my clothes well without shrinkage. I've had amazing alterations here and the staff is super friendly. Next time I think of going someplace closer, I should have my head examined bc this place is simply the best. I'm continually reminded of why I drive further to go here. As far as customer service, what sticks out to me is their ability to rush things at no extra charge, a willingness to tackle odd items (purses, fur coats I've brought in, leather pants,) the occasional discount bc they're feeling generous and I'm a regular customer, and just an overall amazing attention to detail.
