Two of the nicest business owners in Pasadena and a pleasure to bring my clothes to them. Stacy pins up hems and shortens Levi's. Very nice and interesting people who do good work. read more

They work absolute wonders at this dry cleaners! I came in with two white dress shirts covered in red wine stains (it was a fun evening!) that I was sure were goners. They removed the stains and left the shirts looking newer than when I bought them! I'm so thankful because those shirts were good quality and expensive! I was dreading replacing them and now I don't have to. The owners are so nice and have great vibes. I always have a pleasant interaction whenever I stop by. They have some of the better prices in Pasadena so make sure to check them out! read more

I first learned about the Kim Family and their business while reading their story in the LA Times. Since then I have only used their business for my dry cleaning needs. They have cleaned stained dress shirts, stained ties, stained cargo shorts and of course cleaned my suits over the last two years. Wonderful customer service and I hope you will give them a try. Today I said goodbye as I am moving from the area. Last week I dropped off two suits and my favorite hat. This hat has been worn for over 20 years and was very dirty with 20 years of gun powder. This is how it looks today . Just outstanding! The article link is below if you want to see how special they are and committed to first class service. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-07-31/long-a-path-to-success-for-korean-immigrants-dry-cleaners-struggle-in-the-pandemic read more

Arroyo Cleaners - My 20 year old hat, cleaned and looking new after Arroyo Cleaners worked their magic - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Pasadena, California

I love this place and have been coming here for several years now. Arroyo Cleaners is my one-stop neighborhood shop for dry-cleaning, ironing, repairs and alterations. They do an excellent job with every item. Stacy and her husband are lovely people, extremely nice, polite, and respectful. They are very hardworking and they always do their absolute best for you. In addition, they are completely upfront and transparent about what they and their business can or can't do. I appreciate that quality of honesty. It helps me save time and money. If you have questions about how a service is priced, they can answer all your questions and are very transparent about it. Like many businesses, they outsource some services to other service providers who have certain specialties or limitations. If their outside service providers have limitations, they always let you know. Additionally, if you do a comparison of their prices with other similar businesses, their prices are often lower for the same job. They are very responsive. If you have a concern, they are very interested in hearing it. They always want to do their best for you, so I treat them with that level of gratitude and politeness whenever I have any concerns, questions, or issues about any of the items or services. I am open about having concerns, I don't expect them to read my mind. They are very easy to deal with. Our conversations are always efficient, productive, pleasant, and professional. For example, they will tell you if something will be more expensive than you anticipated, and they will also tell you why. For instance, sometimes items are extremely heavy, or extremely dirty, or the job is very complicated, and they will tell you all the reasons why that might factor into price. It's common sense. So I always bring all my dry cleaning here, as well as regular ironing. I bring my tailoring and repairs. Stacy is knowledgeable and can give me her professional advice on what I should do and whether she can help me. I feel she is not only a professional, but also a neighbor and a part of my community. A good thing that happened recently when I brought her a tattered piece of clothing and I asked her if she thought I should have it repaired. She was very wise and told me she thought it might not be worth the expense. Things like this are why I am a loyal happy customer. read more

I hav ebene here for two years and they have provided outstanding and friendly service the entire time. They are very appreciative to have my business and always a pleasure to interact with. Highly recommended! read more

Family owned and operated! Great service, great prices, friendly owners. Especially in times like now, a great place to support and get your items dry cleaned! read more

Local businesses like these are a blessing if you need that personal care and service. The staff here is exceptional and go above and beyond to make sure your needs are taken care of. I trust arroyo cleaners with any of my clothes, jerseys, and business shirts. Fairly priced as well! read more

I've been coming here for about 10 years, even while I lived inTopanga! I would save up my drycleaning and drop it off whenever I came to visit my mom in the SGV. Quality: unbeatable. Other than the usual clothing items, I've dropped off drapes with dog pee (boyfriend's dog), rugs with dog pee (my dog), vintage leather jackets, and random other items I just couldn't clean myself. The quality is impeccable -- my stuff always comes out looking brand new and neatly pressed. Price: it's average priced here, but it's super cheap if you think about the quality. I've taken stuff to cheapie places more convenient to where I live, but I've always regretted it b/c I oftentimes think they don't really clean my clothes. I've also taken stuff to more expensive places like French Laundry, only to regret paying $20 to get sweat stains removed from 1 shirt (which they couldn't do). Service: the same people have been working here since I started going. I've also called to see if they'd stay open 5 min later (if I was running late to pick up), and they've always been nice to accomodate. Oh, and the reason I'm writing this today... pretty unbelievable. I had a few buttons that were coming loose from my favorite cardigan b/c my pup had tried chewing them off. I had planned on sewing the buttons on tighter after I got the cardigan drycleaned. I was amazed and shocked that the folks at Arroyo had taken the initiative to sew the buttons on for me, without charging me extra! They said they'd done it b/c they were afraid that they'd get lost in the cleaning process. Customer for life. read more

If I could give them rating of 5 negative stars, I would. I went here after reading the positive reviews from Yelp. I dropped off a scarf & wool sweater to be dry cleaned and a pair of pants to be shortened. A few days later, I picked them up thinking everything would be find. To my horror, my wool sweater shrunk by two sizes. I'm a small and my sweater is a medium (very loose on me). Sadly, now the sweater is actually tight and the arms are extremely short. Also, the scarf smelled funky, so I'm not sure that it's actually been cleaned. Finally, the icing on the cake- the simple hemming of a pair of pants was botched in a way i couldn't have ever predicted. The hem was all over the place and the hemline was double stitched in random places. I gave them some slack and thought maybe it's a fluke. I gave them an opportunity to fix the hem and i asked them what they can do on the sweater. The said they would stretch it out by steaming it. Steam heat and wool sounds like a disaster to me. So, I chose to leave just the pants. I picked up the pants today and found they made the pants shorter and the hem was crooked again. Do you know what their response to that was? First they deny that it's not crooked. I took a ruler to it to show that the hemline was curving and not straight. Unable to deny the evidence, they responded: "It's not going to be perfect and that looks fine to us. Also, it's only 8 dollars to hem, this is what an $8 hem is. Go to Bryan's across the street, they're $12." There are so many things wrong with that response. I don't even want to get into it. I went to Bryan's. They were actually $6 and they fixed the hem perfectly. Arroyo Cleaners should remember a lower price doesn't equal low quality. They're not exceptionally cheap. Actually they're just competitive. I've never had any problems with other dry cleaners and I've never paid exorbitantly for dry cleaning. If you like being ripped off and ruining your clothes, you should go here. If not, heed the warning. read more

I used to live in Pasadena, and still have some good friends there that I visit pretty regularly. Whenever I go to Pasadena, I make sure to drop off any alterations and dry cleaning to the nice folks at Arroyo Cleaners. They've been cleaning my clothes, and making them look good on me for the past 10 years or so. During that time, I've never had any lost or damaged items, and the alterations (usually for hemming jeans, pants, or sleeves) have always come as expected. The owners are a nice Korean couple, and always treat me with respect. They recognize my car when I park, and have my clothes ready for me when I walk in. The place itself looks like your typical dry cleaners, nothing fancy; it's located in a little strip mall off Arroyo before it turns into the 110S. The prices are absolutely reasonable as well. For the service, quality, and price, I would absolutely recommend them. read more

They're fairly priced and they get the job done in a hurry. I needed a suit to go out in and they took care of it w/in 3 hours. Good people, great prices, extremely fast service. read more

Been coming here since 2011 and even after the change of ownership, I'm still very pleased with the cleaning, tailoring and the professionalism. No job is too small or too big for them! Please help them Out during these difficult times! read more

I'm a long time customer as a local in west pasadena area for over 30 years. I Tried other cleaners that were as good. But now that they know me, and I know them. it's become a very comfortable, friendly and convenient location that we visit regularly. read more

They do a very detailed job and our clothes are always perfect. They check everywhere for spots without you asking, so no need for red tape everywhere to mark spots. They clean and press garments exceptionally well. One of the best cleaners I've used, a little pricier that what I'm used to, but the quality is better than the cheaper ones. They usually put coupons in the Money Mailer so try to use those if you can find them online. read more

This place was super convenient for me after work. Even though I've moved, and it's no longer is convenient, I'll still patronize them. They do a great job, and are very conscientious. Generally, I tend to wait until I have a backbreaking carload of drycleaning, and they haven't lost any of my clothes yet! Once in a great while, they seem to feel they need a do-over, and they're up front about it. I'm more than happy to come back and pick it up later. Also, they're very accommodating, and they've done minor alterations for me. The staff is very sweet and courteous! I can't say I'm crazy about the parking, though. read more

I brought in my Chloe shirt to clean because it has some makeup stains around the next line. When I got it back I discovered a big hole on the left arm! They completely ripped the lace and didn't tell me about! I went back to show her and she said she didn't know it was ripped, wtf?! I was charged full price. So disappointed and will never return again. read more

Arroyo Cleaners - Ripped the lace on my shirt that I brought in for a simple makeup stain cleaning around the neckline. UNPROFESSIONAL. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Pasadena, California

After a horrible experience at another Pasadena cleaners, I decided to try this place. It's nestled cosily in the crook of a mini mall on Arroyo Parkway. They do a great job, it's fairly inexpensive and the people who work there are very sweet. The turnaround is also quick! Highly recommended..... read more

This place is reasonably priced, and always does a good job, and it is always ready when they say it will be. The people there are friendly, and there does not appear to be any noticeable turnover in the staff. They miss getting a fifth star because the parking situation in that strip mall is horrible... not that this is their fault, but still... read more

i had to get a few pairs of pants cleaned. other places charge me nearly 20 since one is lined and the other is linen. i dropped them off at arroyo, came back a few days later to find pristinely cleaned and pressed pants for only 10 bucks! i was ecstatic when the guy told me how cheap it was!! the people here are extremely friendly. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I cannot describe how frustrated and disappointed I am of their dry cleaning process. My favorite silk blouse was a vintage piece from my mom and Arroyo Cleaners managed to ruin the shape of the blouse. And my dresses do not smell clean. They smell like Secret deodorant. I will not be back and return to Chiefs in Alhambra for higher quality results. read more

Price was good, service fine, BUT they hung my delicate sweater on one of those thin wire hangers. Not the best way to take care of sweaters (they stretch and lose shape!). More professional cleaners would fold sweaters nicely, with a bit of tissue to protect them. read more

Great service. Reasonable price. Gave my coat on Thursday evening and got it first thing on Saturday. They charged me $7.50 for the blazer. Definitely go back again! read more

I should have written this review a long time ago. I honestly love going to the dry cleaners (THIS dry cleaners). They are so friendly, remember my name and phone number and have my clothes ready and waiting at the front on the day they are supposed to be ready (even when I am a day or two late in picking them up). I work in Pasadena and live in West LA (so I have many choices when it comes to dry cleaners). I have been using them for 5 years and have never had any issue. On the contrary, they go out of their way to give great service. The little adjustable fasteners on the straps of my dress had cracked. They pointed it out to me and replaced them...FOR FREE! The owners (a couple) and their employees are so warm and friendly, I leave there every time in such a good mood. Support hard working local businesses! read more

Tip: they won't honor their laundry coupon if you bring it when you are picking up. you are supposed to use it when dropping off. I wish i had known because I had it with me when i was dropping off. Since i was told i would do the payment later i couldnt think of asking about the coupon right there. And i had a LOAD of laundry. And not being able to use my coupon made a huge difference to me. Not going back again. read more

I have been to more than a dozen plus different dry cleaners due to moving and job location changes, etc. By far, this is one of the best places I have been to and probably the most reasonably priced. I have had multiple pairs of pants hemmed and let down at Arroyo Cleaners, and all have been completed to my satisfaction. I was actually surprised when I read some of the other reviews. My order is always done in a timely manner (usually 2 days max), and they are very friendly and honest. I had a very large order to pick up once and was unaware they have coupons on thier website. They told me to print out the coupon next time but they still gave me the discount on my order with out having the coupon that day. They have been my Cleaners now for almost a year and I go to them regularly. They are great! Go to their website for Coupons!! Nothing beats an additional discount on top of already great prices. read more

I really wanted to like this local business near my home. However, I brought in a simple wedding dress for dry cleaning and they wanted to charge me almost $100. There was only one layer of lace on the top half and the bottom half was one solid material with no train. The dress was not even dirty and they did not wrap or preserve it specially. Would not support a local business that is obviously trying to take advantage of people. read more

I generally avoid buying too many clothes which require dry cleaning, but when I do need to get something dry cleaned, this is the place I've been going. They seem to be pretty meticulous, and they're reasonably priced. I did dock two stars because they got a little overzealous with a spot removal on my favorite dress and removed some of the color on the patterned dress. I do appreciate them trying to get the spot out and I understand how sometimes you can overdo things. This wouldn't have been such a problem, but when I pointed it out, they first tried to accuse me of spilling bleach on the dress (even though you could see the faint outline of the original dark stain) which I did not very much appreciate. That said, they do seem to do a pretty good job, so I'd recommend them if anyone was looking for a dry cleaner which would get their clothes clean. read more

I've been going here for almost eight years. Even though I live in downtown now and Arroyo is a bit out of the way, I trust them with my clothes and make the extra effort to drive out. The owners and regular staff are super sweet and friendly. Alterations are done wonderfully. They once patched up a cashmere sweater for me that was close to a miracle. read more

If you care about your clothes at all, you will not bring it to these people. First time coming here last week. Dropped off a silk blouse to be dry cleaned and a dress to be hemmed. Silk blouse did not have stains when I dropped it off, I just figured i should finally have it cleaned since i had worn it a few x's already. When I picked it up I was shocked to see two 1/2 inch diameter brown stains on the sleeve. They kept denying fault. And as if that weren't enough, when i tried on my dress when i got home, it was hemmed 2 inches shorter than the length I originally had it pinned to. Now the dress can not be worn. They refused to reimburse me too. Never again will i go back and you all should STAY AWAY. read more

I was surprised! My clothing came back really great. I'm coming back!

My first time coming here and they ruined my $295 Halston dress. They didn't bother to tell me either. Luckily I checked before leaving. They blamed it on me for not warning them to dry clean that specific area. I paid for my dress to be ruined. Never coming back here. read more

Arroyo Cleaners were as Yelpers reviewed, they were cheap. Unfortunately, they lost a piece, the owner admitted they lost a piece and did not follow up on finding the lost item. When I inquired about the missing top, they kept giving me the runaround. Thus, they lost my business. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Great service, friendly and extremely efficient. They have same day service without an additional surcharge. The prices are reasonable- not overpriced. Clothes come out great and they are convenient. I have no complaints and the service of the employees is great as well. read more

I have been coming to Arroyo cleaners for a while now because they are close by. A few times I've bought shirts on ebay and taken them here afterwards. They looked very nice. Then I actually bought a few tops at the Salvation army, and when I went to pick them up, they looked brand new. Very friendly and quick. Check out their coupons on line. First time customers get a pretty big discount. The reason that they get a four instead of a five is because I took a couple of jeans there once and they came back with smudges of something on them. read more

I'm always worried about taking my nicer silks and dresses to a new cleaners. So at first I took my workpants to Arroyo, and they did a great job; no shrinking, and they got out stains at the bottom (and the pleat was crisp). Then I took my silk tops, and I got them back good as new. I have had bad experiences at other dry cleaners, but this place has been consistently good with all of my pieces. And the workers there are really cordial and friendly; not standoffish like at other places. read more

This is the only place I trust with my dry cleaning and hems. I've been coming here for years and at one point I was coming here at least every week (because of my job). After moving out of the area, I realized that not all facilities are as friendly and trustworthy. After many bad experiences with other dry cleaners in my new neighborhood, I held my dry cleaning for when I visited the Pasadena area so I can take it here instead. They always honor the coupon discount and I don't even need to tell Silvia my name and number because she's that good. The owners are very nice and friendly as well. They will also do same day dry cleaning if you bring it in the AM and pick up in the PM but they normally have my things ready in about two days or less. read more

Excellent service and fair prics. I go way out of my way to bring my laundry here. Sylvia is the best.

I brought in a collectible cloth item that had velcro adhesive on it. I tried, but couldn't get it off. Arroyo cleaners got all of the residue off and dry cleaned it for a very reasonable price. It looks great and they saved the day. Highly recommended! read more

I understand that mistakes happen, but when they happen, things need to be rectified! Lady destroyed my blouse by using the heat way too high and literally melted the buttons and material.
