Recently purchased a secondhand couch and was looking to have all of the couch cushions dry cleaned. I had heard good things about Mission Cleaner from a friend, so I decided to check it out. Note: there is a parking lot - there are not too many spots, but there's an area in front of the store where you could likely pull up temporarily as well. I dropped by around 2PM on a Monday and was warmly greeted by the owner. She helped mark where the cushions had stains/discoloration (there were quite a few spots) and gave me a receipt for pickup. In total the cost came out to $82, which was pretty reasonable! They accept many payment forms - credit card (no service charge), Zelle, Venmo. On Thursday, I received a call that my items were ready so I quickly paid and picked them up. Overall, I was really pleased with the quality of service I received here and would highly recommend. I drive by Mission Cleaner often because it's in such a convenient location, so when I have to do my annual dry clean by winter coat, I thought they'd be a good first stop. I've been coming here for a long time. I just dropped off a coat for a dry clean a few days ago. I just picked it up and turned out they had a break in yesterday or recently. They stole the credit card machine so it's cash for now. I feel so bad for the owner as I've known her for a long time and saw how hard she worked. I've been here a handful of times and service is usually good and fast. We brought in a white button up with sweat stains and for about $5 it was cleaned in 3 days. My favorite cleaners! I've been going here for years and surprised that I never wrote a review. First of all, the lady who's always there (I assume she's the owner?) is very friendly and helpful, there's a very welcoming sense about the place that just feels good. The hours are extremely good they open early and on weekends. Secondly, parking is really easy. They have a large lot and i usually just pull up literally right in front of the door as they have a covered area for dropping off, so no need to even pull into a parking space. When it comes to the actual services, they are also top notch. Sometimes when I have some stains I'll tell her about it and she'll mark it and they do a great job of cleaning it. Turnaround time for cleaned items are also very good, AND, you can tell they really care for the clothing. When you pick up the item it comes covered in protective plastic and beautifully pressed. I forget the prices off the top of my head but they're comparable to most places. They also do tailoring. I've had a few items hemmed and they did a really great job of it. Lastly, the thing that exemplifies the top notch customer service is I had broken off one of the buckles on my dress pants and when I brought it in to get it repaired and asked how much she said no problem she would do it for free for me as a customer who goes there. I have been coming to this cleaner since a few years ago. The owner is very friendly and personable. She would pull out my dry clean from her rack once she saw me pulled up to her driveway. Extraordinary! The owner is also very honest, which I appreciated. I brought her a canvas bag once. She told me that she needs to ask and see if it can be cleaned. She asked me to come back in a few days. When I returned, she told me that the bag cannot be cleaned and she did not charge me anything. Parking is never a problem for me. Price is very reasonable. I have never tried their dry cleaning service and only came here for alterations. I walked in without an appointment and the price was $25 to hem shirt sleeves (sales tax included.) The staff was very friendly and she automatically applied 10% off for 1st time customer (which was a pleasant surprise.) They accept Apple Pay and the website has a 10% discount coupon with purchases of $15 and up. You also get additional $1 off on your order if you also use the Yelp check-in deal. I dropped off my shirts on Wednesday morning and my shirts were ready to pick up on Saturday afternoon. It took a while because the 3rd party tailor picked up clothes on Thursday and dropped off tailored clothes at Mission Cleaner on Saturday. This is not exactly the cheapest place to hem your shirts, but at least they get the job done. Overall 3.5-star, but I will give the benefit of the doubt. They don't really seem to put that much attention on stains or spills.. probably due to them sending them out to be mass cleaned with little care. Parking was pretty easy and since it's located on the corner of Garfield Ave and Mission Road, there were two entrances into the lot. Walking in, Susanna greeted me with a smile. I explained to her that I had a pair of dress pants that needed to be dry cleaned and a dress shirt that needed to be washed and pressed. She gave me the price for the two items ($5.50 for dry cleaning the pants, $3 for washing and pressing the shirt) and even applied the new customer discount (10% off). If you check-in on Yelp, you'll also get $1 off. No payment is needed when you drop off your items; you'll pay when you pick them up. When I came to pick up my items, Susanna welcomed me and even remembered my name and the items I was picking up; she is amazing! Since my total was less than $15, I paid by cash; there's an extra charge for credit card payments under that amount. Overall, I had a great experience with Mission Cleaner and Susanna.
