You are obviously not longtime and frequent customers to Main Cleaners. Due to the economic downturn caused by COVID19 and the governor's repeated shutdowns, Erica, the owner and sole employee of the business, will have to shut her doors forever. She is not taking anymore clients and all business is pickup only. Do you think she wants to spend time on the phone listening to what you want? Do you think this kind and gentle lady has the wherewithall to explain to you that she is losing her business? Many businesses are experiencing this same fate. As a longtime customer, I will miss Erica and Main Cleaners. This was truly a neighborhood business and I'm sad to have to find somewhere else to go. Please show compassion and realize that while you may feel important giving out one stars to family-owned businesses, you do more harm than good. read more

Took my coat into the dry cleaners bc I use to take my items there before. I left my hanger behind that came with the coat. Very nice cedar hanger. When going back to pick up the items, no where to be found. The owner got really mad and didn't even apologize for the hanger that she kept. Old owners were a lot better...professional. Now with the current owners, who are related to the past owners. Customer service has drastically changed!! Would give them no stars. Korean owner sold the business to the sister. read more

I had previously given this a better review, but need to change it... I get my work shirts laundered here. My last batch of shirts came back with stains on the left cuffs!! I think the first shirt I wore, I noticed the stain, and guessed it was there before I turned in the shirt, and they couldnt clean it. No biggie. Then I see it on the next shirt. Now I'm becoming suspicious. I come home and check my shirts, and see that out of the 5 shirts I gave, 4 had these mysterious stains??? The stains are small, and in different places on the left cuff, but I do not expect to get my shirts back dirtier than I turn them in. That alone warrants downgrading them to 1 star (I really should be reporting them to the BBB). Going here is a pain as well. I think one of the employees parks in the only assigned customer parking spot (I see the same car parked there whenever I go, Lexus ES), and the rest of the plaza is pretty busy so hard to get parking. Also there are hardly at the front counter, so when you enter, you need to wait for someone to notice you. read more

I brought my corset here to get clean after I trashed it and dirtied it at a Halloween party... black Halloween fave paint was smeared all on it.. I thought it would never be white again.. a couple days Later I come and it is sparkling brand new. Thank it to the owner who put all her hard work in it into cleaning it from a brown color to a bright white!!!! read more

I know that the cost of service is rising, but paying $12.00 for a dry cleaner to press a coat jacket and two cotton shirts is ridiculous. Not only are their services overpriced, heaven forbid that you request faster service...you know...being the customer and all. My wife had visited the cleaners several times before and had mentioned that they were overpriced. I was in a time constraints of sorts and decided ....What the heck...they are local. I dropped off my items with the hope of picking them up the next day before noon. The nice Asian lady assured my that they would be ready by noon but if I wanted I could even pick them up in the morning. I thought..Great... So I gave them some extra time and didn't show up until 1:00 PM. When I arrived, I quickly realized the quality of customer service and intent. The same nice Asian lady from the day before became the "Cleaner from Hell" She said that I was too early..to come back after five...that she couldn't find my clothes....that she never promised me anything...that I didn't understand (her poor broken English)....I finally came unglued and told her that I was going to sit and wait until she found my things. After about 20 mins of shuffling through dry cleaning, my items emerged...what a nightmare. I will never set foot in this business again....I suggest that you do the same. read more

This company is absolutely atrocious, do not use them! After arranging a cleaning appointment the cleaner came and spent half an hour on the phone and then left secretly without saying a word whilst I was in the other room. The company called and said that due to the 'state' of the kitchen they would not be able complete the work, after I had removed all of the items in the kitchen as requested and booked the time off work. They did not even try and negotiate or apologise for the inconvenience or disrespect shown by their cleaner. I can promise that the kitchen was in an appropriate condition and I hired them for four hours of deep cleaning so would they expect it to be in the perfect condiotion. If so why would I hire a cleaner? They have an extremely low standard of customer service and I would not recommend their services to my worst enemy. read more

Dropped off my coat and payed in full . I couldnt pick it up until a week after i dropped it off and when i did , they claimed to have lost my ticket and wanted me to pay AGAIN because they had no "record"! I had left my ticket at work (I work 30 minutes away) so i had to go back and return to the cleaners to show them because i needed my coat that night , waste of time and unprofessional. I dropped of my blouse to be hemmed 2 inches. Initially it seemed like I was bothering the women with a blouse to hem. She thought I would refuse if she charged me $15.00. I wasnt going to let this women ruin my "just got paid" mood. It was friday I have a new job and I just got paid. So she said since your a new customer i'll charge $12.00 my last cleaner was $6.00 but i moved on up to Alhambraaa. Lol from East L. A.. Hahaha The day came to pick up my top. The witch took my blouse off the hanger and handed it to me. She didnt hang my top in one of those fancy "no more wire hangers" with a plastic cover. I dont know if it was A. mexican thing (is there such such a thing as a prejudice Asian)? B. A bitter women that hate smiling women C. I hate pretty women with big breast D. I moved so I needed to find a new dry cleaners. I called to inquire about prices. For dress shirts, the korean lady said "$1.85." Then I asked her for the price to dry clean pants. She asked me "how much do you pay now?" I said "$3.00." She said "I cannot compete" then she hung up on me. I tried calling back but she didn't answer. Since the cost to dry clean shirts was low, I was willing to accept a higher price to clean slacks. I spend over $1000 on dry cleaning a year. Her loss. read more

This place won't earn my business anymore after the first time i ever done my business with the owner. Had 3 coats to clean, one of them got a few buttons losen, asked if she can help to reinforce it before she sends them out to clean, I'll pay for it, she answered with a little bit of attitude ok pay me 2 dollars I'll check all of them and do them all. But the day i picked up, it was only one coat that got reinforced. I didn't say a word just look at mybother coats, she stood by the counter and said to me with an atittitude again "oh it's worth more than the 2 dollars you pay me! " Did I complain anything?? And I need to mention that she's abit extra. She asked me if I'm still in school, i said no. Why? She goes, your mom was demanding you too much. She orders what to do and what to say! I'm like does it matter to you? Is it part of your business? She even said my face looks too serious that causing her to give me wrong change! WTH? Looking for a place where can i ask for a dry clean service for my coat ..... This is it , first time to be here ( 1/30/18) and the woman who assist me is kind and approachable , no down payment needed for the 2 coats and they can even give you a discount just follow a simple steps that they will tell you to do then boom 20% discount less from the total charge. They promise me that after 4 days my coat is ready for pick up it's a bit long but its ok because I'm not in a hurry. I say no star!!!This laundromat leaves much to be desired! I tried to get change for my wash only to be told the machines didn't have any money! Luckily I had enough quarters for two machines, then bought an iced tea at the 7-11 next door to get enough change for one more load. About 20 minutes after this, a guy walks in, tries to get change from the same exact machine and the woman HELPS him get change! WTF?!?! She helps men & not women?!?! I am not returning here and I will tell others to stay away! This woman was not nice, was not helpful and was more concerned with talking to a friend of hers than providing good customer service! I decided to use this place as it is close to home---I'm going elsewhere! read more
