They damaged my wool vest. I noticed a dime-size hole in the back of the vest just under the shoulder. It was fairly noticeable and not done by a simple small snag, but appeared to have gotten caught on something in the cleaning process. When I brought it to the woman's attention, she shrugged it off and blamed it on me. She said it probably had a hole when I brought it in. She was clearly not telling the truth because she personally inspected every garment when I dropped off the clothes. I watched her unfold and look them over. She didn't offer to repair it or compensate me for it. It was pretty new and rarely worn. I was very disappointed in her lack of concern and willingness to stand behind their service. They lost a good customer. I will be taking my dry cleaning elsewhere. read more

The local dry cleaners that I bring my clothes to. I don't have many things to dry clean these days. Diana does an excellent job of explaining things and her prices are reasonable. I have tried several other cleaners in the area and I like Magic Cleaners the best. Although sometimes I can't understand what Diana is saying since she has a bit of an accent (very nice woman though). The last item I had dry cleaned was a black cashmere jacket I had custom tailor made in Shanghai. I had to get it cleaned because a woman at a party spilled red wine on it. I just got my bridesmaid's dress hemmed for $25. This was my first time ever getting a dress hemmed; it was way too long (but now it's perfect!) It looks professionally done. I changed in the bathroom and came back out, then she pinned the dress at several points. The whole process took about 15 minutes. I brought it in on 8/1 & got it back on 8/8. When I went to pick it up, I forgot to bring in the shoes I was going to wear with the dress; so, the lady there said that if it's still too long, I can bring it in the next day to get it hemmed shorter and get it the same day. She's so nice. :) Luckily, it doesn't need to get hemmed a second time because she got it right the first time around. The lady there speaks English and Cantonese from what I know. read more

Pretty straight forward when it comes to dry cleaning with some really affordable prices. I have been coming here for about a year and i really enjoyed the service. Im not sure what that last review was about but they spoke english here. Really enjoyed the fact that they took a lot of time to go through each garment to remove any lint or speckle. Also it is up to the consumer to understand what should be dry cleaned and to plan ahead when it comes to dropping clothes off. I really would like to thank the lady who worked there as she really went above and beyond a few times for me as she took a lot of time to make sure my clothes were clean and lint free. The extra attention was fantastic and she really worked super hard. Amazing family owned store, support your local business! I would also like to add that if you want your pants hemmed, try bringing a spare pair of pants as a sample or even measuring it to begin with. They have alterations but its best to come prepared for the sake of others. read more

I brought in my mom's expensive jacket to get repaired because even the store wouldn't fix it for her. Magic Cleaners came as a recommendation from a good friend. And I'm so glad because mom is so happy! :) The prices for cleanings and alterations are pretty average, but they provide a great service. It is not a big production, but a small customer centered business. Very service savvy. Dry cleaned 10 items, altered 1 pants, and fixed the jacket for about $50. Not bad! Brought my Jiu Jitsu gi's in to get some patches put on them on Sat. They were ready today, price was great. The woman (Diane I presume) was very friendly, and did an absolutely amazing, very detailed job, matching the patch colors to the stitching inside and out and placing the patches exactly where I wanted them. This is the best patch work I've ever gotten. Couldn't be happier. A tip for Karen K. If you weren't happy with the service you received, that doesn't give you the right to refer to whoever was working there that day as "snaggle tooth". Have some respect and dignity. My bf had to get his suit pants tailored and I was searching high and low for a place that was trustworthy. Several other places had about 4.5 stars out of 7 reviews. I read the reviews and most of them were about the workmanship not being on par. I read the reviews about Magic Cleaners and about the fiesty Asian owner, Diana. I took my bf's pants and drove over to meet Diana. She explained that she can adjust the pants, however, it is best to get an exact measurement rather than "guesstimating". She asked me if it this was going to be a rush order. I said yes, I need it by tomorrow for a wedding we're attending. She told me to go home and measure my honey's waist and inseam so I can give her the exact measurement. As long as I go back on Saturday before 11am, she can rush the order for us! She also gave me a lot of pointers as to how to shop for a suit and what to look for, etc. I loved the fact that she was honest. She asked me questions about an older pair of suit pants that my bf wanted to get adjusted. (We had to loosen the waistband) She said that the furthest she can expand was 33.5 inches and if his waist is wider than that, then it's best to get a new pair. It wasn't that she didn't want to adjust it, she said it would be a waste of our money. The next day we came back at 11am, but this time I let her measure his waistline. She gave us a quick version of the explanation she had given me the day before and told us that she would have it ready by 3pm for us. We quickly said our goodbyes and we were on our way to run other errands. At 4pm, my bf went to pick up his pants, we didn't bother to try it on because we trusted her work. It was just a feeling we had :) At 6:30 pm, we showered and started to get ready for the wedding. He put his pants on and it fitted PERFECTLY! I was so happy with her work. My bf and I both agreed that we're going to go to her from now on for all our dry cleaning and alteration needs. She may be a bit out of our way, but she is worth every mile because she goes out of her way for her customers. read more

This is my official spot to get my jeans hemmed and bridesmaid dresses altered. The shop keeper's name is Diana and she is a feisty Chinese woman with a knack for precision tailoring. I've never had a problem with my jeans, and she's always done a beautiful job with my dresses. My sister also goes to her to have all of her designer dresses and outfits altered to petite sizing. Jeans/pants are $8, dresses are $20...depending on the difficulty of the alteration. Oh, and lastly, she'll give you great Chinese dieting tips as well. read more

The owner of this place knows how to take good care of your clothes! The zipper of my skirt was broken, and I took my skirt over to get it fixed. The result turned out to be perfect! Then I took my t-shirt and a dress over to this lady and get it tailored. After I talked to the lady about how I wanted the clothes to be tailored, the lady recommended that I should not spend $$ on having her tailored my clothes. She was very genuine! read more

I'm insanely protective about all my things, especially my clothes, so it took a lot--and I mean A LOT--of searching on Yelp before I finally settled on this place since it has nice reviews (the main complaint appears to be "flexible" business hours, and since I planned on dropping off and picking up around noon, this was not a factor in my decision) and is near work. Dropped off a suit dress for dry cleaning on Friday. The man quoted me $7.75 and said it'd be ready Wednesday, unless I needed it earlier. Came back on Wednesday, and pickup was quick and hassle-free. The lady tailor came in as I was paying and gave me a very cheerful greeting. Dress was clean with no damage. Will come back. read more

Saw all the good reviews and I was in need of a new cleaners. Was disappointed when I arrived after work at 6:30pm to find that they were closed already. Business hours posted on the window say weekday hours are 9-7pm. I may give this place another shot if I don't find another place to go to. read more
