The gentleman here is very nice, organized, and efficient. I came in to have a pair of pants hemmed, they were lined and had a pattern along the bottom. They had a space so I could try it on, he measured and pinned, and added me to their system. I received a text message reminding me to come and pickup w the claim #. It's October which means it's homecoming season for high school. My son decided last minute to attend the dance. His suit needed alterations (waist and length of pants needed some adjustment). It took a few days to get the suit back and they did an excellent job! They even pressed the suit per my request and it look great! Father-Son duo that run the place along with their team and they do a wonderful job. The tailor also does quality work with reasonable timelines as well. This dry cleaning business is hidden at the corner of Del Mar and Arroyo Parkway. It's a gem! I have taken two sets of laundry and dry cleaning. Everything is done well, promptly, and at a reasonable price. The shop has an awesome new system to text when your items are ready to pick up--and they promise a day at drop off too. Seems like all the five star views may be fake. These guys don't do a very good job cleaning, even relatively simple stains. They still charge you a full amount even if there was minimal or no improvement in your stains. I tried them twice and both times they did a subpar job and refused to refund even a part or the price. Even when I said they'd lose a customer, they just shrugged their shoulders and gave me an "Mm, too bad". Do not recommend coming here, just a waste of time and money. Find another dry cleaning place, thankfully theres a ton of them in Pasadena. Based on their comment below, you can see that all you get is a mediocre cleaning job with no discount/refund, a bunch of excuses, and a polite and pretty message to get some new customers. read more

My brother in law recommended this place and I'm so glad he did. The people here are super nice and they are great with both dry cleaning and alterations. I brought my dad's suit here to be cleaned and get his pants altered since it was a bit snug for him at the calf area. When I picked it up, it looked brand new. I came back and brought my wedding dress and my moms dress to be shortened at the bottom. Then i took my husband back to get his suit altered. I've been taking my clothes here for 2+ years, mainly for dry cleaning work/dress clothes and the occasional tailoring needs. The owner and his sons do a good job with customer service and have always quickly resolved any minor issues I've had over the years. The only problem I've ever had is the parking lot which can get backed up esp. on Saturdays with the Performance Bike shop and Teri and Yaki crowd. Weekdays, no such problem. I feel particularly inspired to write a 5-star review of this place b/c I had sent in my jeans which needed to be patched after too much wear and tear (and my 6th grade level sewing class technique... thank you Mrs. Nelson!!!) The tailor, a sweet lady who has been doing this for many years, did an IMPECCABLE job of patching my jeans for around $7. In fact, they came back looking better than when I first bought them (color matched patch, custom sewing, the works!!!). Can you say haute couture?!! Okay, call me what you want for getting excited about tailoring men's jeans, but the overall consistency and customer service of this place with dry cleaning, and yes an expert tailor has earned my business for years. I will no longer support this business. I have been bringing my clothes here for sewing services for over 2 years now. I have always had the same 2 patches sewn on my BJJ gi's. One is a circle patch, about 3 1/2 inches wide and the other is a rectangle patch, 12 inches wide, 3 inches tall. Simple work... but I do not have a sewing machine. I have paid $10 for the SAME rectangle patch to be sewn on 6 of my gi's... they always charged me $10, and I've always waited about 4-5 days for it to be done. The last time I went there they charged me $20... for a SIMPLE rectangle patch to be sewn on. I questioned the cashier who then asked the manager or owner about it, and he claimed they charged me $10 for the circular patch. However, I keep very good records... and I paid $8 for the small circular patches. As someone who is a repeat customer who gets the same work done, why would you DOUBLE your price? The work was done, and I needed my gi top back... so I paid the $20, but felt 100% ripped off. I will never visit this place again. read more

A bride has enough to worry about and the last thing you want to be fretting over is whether your dress is clean and wrinkle free on the big day. Swan Cleaners cleaned my Monique Lhuillier dress by hand and it was flawless for all of the photos. Post-wedding, I brought it back to Swan Cleaners and they erased all evidence of a fun, crazy, outdoor wedding and packaged it for safe-keeping. Hopefully my daughter will consider getting married in my dress one day. I've been going to Swan Cleaners for over five years, even after I moved out of the neighborhood. I saw their eco-friendly signs and figured that if trout could swim in their cleaning solutions, then it would be good for my family's clothes. What a bad decision. Our first experience had a blouse come back with two bar pattern stains, and when I took it back they tried to convince me that they were pre-existing stains on the blouse. They tried to clean the top again, and on pick up claimed they were food stains (I guess from our high-tech feeding machine) and there was no way that there "new" machines could of damaged the fabric. How sad that they couldn't admit it was their fault. We're never taking our clothes there again, for any kind of cleaning, and would advise everyone thinking about using them to stop next door at Robeks, have a smoothie, and avoid Swan Cleaners at all costs. read more

These guys are great. Everyone who works here is super humble and really nice- no attitude, no drama. They have a true "yes to customers" attitude which is oddly refreshing these days. They also open early- 6:30! Perfect for dropping off on the way to work. I called one morning freaking out because a suit I needed for an interview was a lot wrinklier (is that a word?) than I thought! They promised they could have it pressed for me within four hours, and offered that they normally have same-day service possible if one drops off in the morning. (fairly standard, I guess, but helpful nonetheless). The lady was really nice when I walked in. She remembered my call and even offered to hold onto the garment bag and hanger I had brought in, and put the suit on them when it was finished. Yes please! Also fairly cheap for whole suit to get pressed- $6.50. Their prices are cheap compared to places like Fashion Cleaners. I also like that they have nontoxic cleaning. Wow, i'm surprised by the horrible review posted below. My experience was the complete opposite. I brought my cashmere dresses, sweaters, and hubby's sweaters to Swan's. I was blown away at the great job they did on them. I used to take my dry cleaning to Magic cleaners. (I went to Magic cleaners primarily so that I can use the coupons on the backs of my Ralph's receipts) I decided to give Swan Cleaners a try after one too many frustrating moments with the lady behind the counter. I got my clothes back and found that they had removed EVERY SINGLE ball of fuzz that had pilled on my cashmere (and I'm embarrassed to say that there was a lot). I've even had my pants altered and they turned out perfectly. And their solutions are eco-friendly to boot! I'm definitely taking all of my dry cleaning here from now on. read more
