I was shocked when I learned the charge to clean my linen tablecloth! I was not given a price ahead of time. (My tablecloth was lightly soiled with no stains.) They charged $132.00 for a 70" X 126" linen table cloth from William Sonoma that retails for $139.95! When I asked for a reduction after I discovered that other local cleaners charge around $30-$40 for the same service, they offered me a 10% discount. When pressed further, they offered me a 30% discount...still the charge would be $92! That's $50+ over other reputable cleaners! The icing on the cake is that when I said that I would post a negative review, they charged my card on file the full $132. I have been using this cleaner for around 15 years. They will no longer have my business - customer loyalty means nothing to them. read more

Shady business tactics. I went in asking for a rush job, because I'm a first responder, and I was called to stay for another couple weeks with only what I had brought for a few days, hoping that I could have my things laundered and folded while I was at the incident. For 12 pounds of clothes, I paid $88.75. To be fair, there was a surcharge for a "" rush job "" however, this is an astronomical price that was not relayed to me when I provided my clothing. As a first responder, this was absolutely disappointing, and Bryan's cleaners should be ashamed for their insane pricing. The clothing was returned to me clean, however, the folding was lackluster, and I have creases and wrinkles now in my slacks. read more

Definitely a fan of Brian's. Not the cheapest on the block, but the prices are still reasonable. I was really impressed when they were able to remove a giant beer stain from one of my off white dress shirts. I was pretty sure that the shirt was a gonner after some meathead at the bar bumped into me and spilled my stout down my front side. I figured, why not give it a chance and dropped the shirt off expecting the stain to still be somewhat visible. A few days later, the shirt was saved and gone was any evidence of spillage. Hey, you know what I like? Knowing how much I'm going to pay for something before I buy it. Most dry cleaners don't have prices posted, but Bryan's does - in the store and on their website. Plus, they do a great job and are always sewing on the buttons that fall off my clothes on a regular basis. (No fat jokes, please.) If I drop off my clothes by 11am, I can get them back by 4pm the same day. This works out great for someone who doesn't like to crawl out of bed before 9am. Oh, also, first time customers get two $5 off coupons! Or maybe they just gave those to me when I started using them because I'm so cute. read more

Man, I had high hopes for this place. It's a local's favorite, it's been there forever, and it's right by my house. Sadly, I've had some bad experiences here: Whenever I come in, there's no one in the front. I stand there shouting "Hello!" until someone finally hears me and comes up to help. They're always super polite, but it frustrates me having to wait 10 minutes just to get seen. They just don't do that good a job. I've brought dresses here, a coat, and a blouse that my husband washed with some brand new jeans, so it had blue all over it. I asked if they could try and get it out, and if not just to toss it. They said they probably could, and to pick my stuff up in a week. A week goes by, and I come in to see if my stuff is ready (I've given them my phone number every time, and ask if they can call me to tell me when my clothes are done, they always say they will then no one calls). They didn't have my blouse ready, it took the guy 30 minutes to find out they were trying to get the stain out still. I said if it was that much trouble just to toss it, and I'd pay for anything they've done on it up to that point. I grabbed my coat, and shelled out $30 total. A little disappointing since they couldn't clean my blouse. That day while wearing my coat out (a brand new one), three of the buttons fell off. That hadn't happened until after I had it cleaned at their place. I've since gone to dry cleaners on the west side, and found much better results. Too bad, these guys seemed nice. read more

Horrible experience. I had a ton of laundry I needed to get dry cleaned and dropped them all off to a lady. She (kind of?) processed the clothes but said I didn't need anything else and I could leave already. This was my first time at any dry cleaners but it was still my fault for not asking for a receipt or some piece of paper that showed how many items I dropped off. They only gave me a number without any other information. Anyways, when I came back I was missing my favorite jacket -I was also 100% certain that I had dropped it off. She merely said I hadn't brought it and was EXTREMELY rude about it. Long story short: they LOST my favorite jacket, refused to accept responsibility and continued to charge me an unbelievably high price for everything else. read more

With 2 days to spare, I had reached John Leano and asked him if I could have 3 costumes for the Moscow Ballet pressed and tidied up for a TV appearance on KTLA featuring one of our ballerinas. These costumes are handmade in Russia and they had to be handled with care. Not only John say it wouldn't be a problem but he asked me to speak to Eric when I arrived at Bryan's to help get this done on time. Eric was extremely helpful, as was John! I've had home delivery for about the last ten years. Their service is Fantastic. I read other reviews saying that they are expensive. I don't think they are the cheapest place in town, but not the most expensive either. What other cleaner picks up and delivers, AND sews buttons back on and repair hems and seams, at no cost? You get a little note attached to the garment that says something like, "we repaired your hem at no charge, thanks for being our customer". I have had to pick stuff up early and have rush jobs. Although this place is a little pricey, I appreciate the fact that small alterations, or fixings, are included in the dry cleaning price. I am sort of new to the dry cleaning habit since the boyfriend wears a suit every day, I am not sure what the turn around service is for cleaning since Bryan's takes at least two-three days. There is a small parking lot in back so we can drop off our clothes without worrying about the meters. The staff is friendly so we haven't had a bad experience at all. read more

Bryan's cleaners has been our family's cleaners for about 35 years. In that time they have gotten out every spot, sewed on countless missing buttons, never ruined or lost a single item. If you are in a rush, you can drop off your clothes by 11 am and pick them up the same day after 4 pm. They have delivery service. It's totally convenient and easy. Also, they have lollipops. Very handy if you get hypoglycemia while doing your errands. I am just hoping that they will go green soon, so that my conscience doesn't make my switch elsewhere. read more

I think the service, parking, and efficiency are great, but just a little bit too expensive. Took all my dry cleaning here for close to 15 years and it bums me out that the quality control has slipped. My last visit here I gave them a coat with a loose button. The attendant brushed off my comment with "oh we always check the buttons" (and in my previous experience they always had). When I picked it up the loose button was completely gone, but I was assured they would find it and sew it back on. When I come to pick it up the second time they've replaced the missing button with a completely different color button. Shortly after that I'm having stern words with the manager, and to her credit she did find my original button or an exact replacement. Really though, I still can't believe they lost the button at all, and then thought it would be ok to replace a black button with a brown one. read more

They overcharged for my cleaning and when I asked for the price they charged, I have been told because it was special, so I checked my older receipt which has way less price for the same clothes same service; now they told me it was a mistake and when I asked for refund, they told me only give me store credit instead. read more

My family has an account with them and has been on their delivery route for years. They trusted them to handle all of their items and rarely looked at their bills. Recently I started handling the errands around the house. I was SHOCKED to see the outcome of six orders I personally dropped off and then had delivered to the house (trying to get used to having such a service). #1. I dropped off A brand new $600.00 Dress that had a moth hole in the front- I asked the person at the counter if they could fix this and for how much. They said sure and put it in the pile. I got it back on our doorstep with a LARGER HOLE in it and a bill for cleaning it for an odd amount $19.48ish. #2. I reviewed the bills attached to the items dropped off (the receipts on the front). One Dress was $65.00 to CLEAN. Um, $65.00? I wore it once and quite frankly paid about that price for the dress to begin with! #3 The other items (woman's skirt suit) were about $25.00 to clean. #4 They charged $1.98 to CLEAN a belt that was cloth and attached to one of the dresses. Shocked I called and spoke to a manager. Despite our long record of business with them they didn't seem overly concerned. Instead they credited us $35.00 for the DRESS that was marked as leather (um it was not leather- pleather...). Not even the full cleaning fee. Okay... And I was like um if something is so much money can you call ahead to warn us? They were like um sure I'll make a note. I mentioned the new dress that was cleaned and not fixed for the moth hole. I mentioned the moth hole was larger. Guess what? They credited me for the fee to clean the dress. NOT the belt attached to it though. No they kept that 1.98 fee on there. SORRY but this place is a HUGE ripoff. I am pulling our account and will not be sending any more business their way. Try again on customer service people. Our family has spent thousands and thousands at your establishment for years and years. That ends now. read more

I'd rate them a 2.5 stars if I could. The actual cleaning and laundering services are fine, and I love the pick-up and delivery (and I'd like to give a shout-out to Victor, the gentleman who handles our pick-up and delivery service; he is unfailingly courteous and helpful). But they've now lost 3 clothing items in 2 years, and they have yet to offer any kind of discount or credit to acknowledge and apologize for that inconvenience. I understand that they handle a huge volume of clothing, but for the prices they charge, I'd expect better customer service. They also are not prompt about returning phone calls when I've left a message. Not sure I'll be sticking with them. Update 6/29/18: We did stick with Bryan's, and I'm so glad we did. They've been helpful and responsive to my concerns, the cleaning and shirt service have been great, and they've done some wonderful repair work and tailoring for us, too. Subject: My sweater I had second thoughts about sending my Ralph Lauren black cashmere cardigan with rhinestone buttons to Bryan's because of things that have happened in the past. It seems like any designer outfit I send in ends up having a problem. They lost the medallion on the zipper of my $1,200 St John jacket, which I can now no longer wear. They lost the fabric corsage on a designer sweater set that I bought at Neiman Marcus and now this!!!!! Did they try to find these items?? Didn't seem like it. What does that say about them? This black cardigan was my favorite sweater!! I should NEVER have sent it in. Like I said, I just knew something would happen!! Very polite customer service. However, they cannot deliver on time when they say they will. I dropped off a shirt to be dry cleaned and pressed on a Tuesday afternoon. They said it would be ready any time after 4:00 p.m. the next day. I came at 5:00 the next day and they said the shirt was not ready. They said they could deliver it to my office free of charge the next day before noon. I called at 11:45 the next day and they said the computer showed that the shirt was not ready. After three more phone calls I was told that the shirt was on a delivery truck and that it would be delivered later in the day. Now I still don't have the shirt. Ordinarily, I wouldn't care about a day or two delay, but this shirt is for my engagement party. I will never use Bryan's Cleaners and Laundry ever again. read more
