My experience with Concierge Cleaners was awful. I found them to be incompetent, dishonest and…read moreunwilling to reimburse for clothes they ruined. Here is why: Our home was damaged in the Eaton Fire. Our clothes were smoke damaged and had to be professionally cleaned. Our remediation company recommended Concierge Cleaners. In hindsight, I suspect they got a kickback "Shane," (as he calls himself, is apparently the owner of Concierge Cleaners) picked up the hundreds of items to be cleaned. We were unable to live in our house for months, so the transfer of clothes was chaotic. After numerous requests, "Shane" finally gave an estimate which was far less than the amount ($2,533) that they ultimately billed. Among the clothes Concierge took were several expensive coats and suits. We obviously expected them to by dry cleaned. Instead, Concierge threw them in the wash with the underwear and t-shirts. Literally, they were put in a washing machine which ruined the fine wool, then put in a dryer which shrank them. Then they were tightly folded and wrapped with the laundry. The suits and coats were obviously ruined. When we informed "Shane" what happened we assumed he would act professionally and offer to compensate for the damage. When mistakes happen people with integrity take responsibility. But integrity is not "Shane's" strong suit. First he denied ever having the suits and coats. Then he claimed they could be fixed by dry cleaning them. That did not work since the fabric was already ruined and the suits shrunk two sizes. I told "Shane" we would be satisfied if Concierge paid just a fraction of the cost of replacing the suits. We have a lot going on trying to make our house habitable after the fire and don't have time to mess with an incompetent and dishonest dry cleaner. Unfortunately, Shane stopped responding and is now unreachable. So now we have to haul this clown into small claims court to get him to pay for the damage he caused. I have lived in the Pasadena area a long time and know there are good and reputable dry cleaners. Concierge is not one of them. If you want someone who does not know that fine wool suits have to be dry cleaned, lies about what happened to your clothes, and refuses to compensate you when he ruins your best clothes, then you will love "Shane" and Concierge Cleaners.

Has this ever happened to you: you have a work trip and you're regretting not getting your suit…read morecleaned earlier in the week. You need it by tomorrow! You call a few dry cleaners in the area and the best day can do it 2 days. If you have ever been in this situation, do I have a gem for you. I was able to get my suit cleaned in less than 24 hours for $19! And it wasn't a quick clean, my suit had a few food stains on it. Greats service, great staff, and quality work at an affordable price. A true 5 out of 5 review.

Awful execution. Sarcastic owner. I needed one patch added to my son's karate robe. A's had at…read moreleast half a dozen sewing machines and a wall covered in alteration gear so I assumed they knew what they were doing. Initial interaction was perfect. When I picked up the robe, however, the patch was a little off-center and askew, despite telling the owner exactly how to line it up with the other patches, and suggesting they use the sleeve crease as a guide. But I thought it was passable for $12. Great price, I'm good. But when I got home I looked at the actual stitching. It looks like it was done by someone that had no clue how to attach a patch compared to the other patches on the robe (performed by another shop). I brought it back and explained that I was concerned about the huge gaps between stitches, since my son competes in grappling competitions with this robe. It looks like the patch could easily get ripped off if a finger got in there. They offered to fix it this weekend, but that's too late for me. The owner offered to take the patch off and give me my money back, which I greatly appreciated. That's all I wanted. At this point, I was fine with the situation, happy to take it somewhere else, despite the huge inconvenience. I wouldn't have even posted this... but the owner just couldn't help herself. As she was walking away with the robe, she said sarcastically, and I quote, "I didn't know they wore these inside-out" referring to my comments about how ugly the stitching was. At this point, I told her to give it back to me. Her first instinct was to refuse. So I had to sternly tell her to give it back to me right now, and that I will be posting this on Yelp and Google. Instead of apologizing, she said, "I have your license plate number." What? Is she threatening me too? Is this story over? I certainly hope so. Again, I wouldn't be writing this if she hadn't been sarcastic, obviously trying to make me feel stupid for my concern about the stitches. But my experience was that A's Cleaners was completely unprofessional and offered terrible service. Look at the pics and judge for yourself. I they didn't have the equipment to do it right, they should've told me. I wish I had never walked in to this place.

My husband waited more than 15 mins. Turns out there is only one person who works there. They don't actually dry clean the clothes there. It gets picked up or delivered to the main location in South Pas (I think that's the location.) Two days later, I go to pick up the clothing. Same sign but my thoughts are, "15 mins from what time? 15 mins from 5 mins ago, 10 mins ago?" I waited almost an hour!! There were a couple cars that drove off and a couple more that waited like I did. I called the phone number listed TWICE but it's forwarded to the other location. They have no idea where there employee is. I knock several time on the glass door and window. Finally, employee shows up, unlocks the door and we all go in. I was first, so I told him I waited for almost an hour when stupid sign said be back in 15 mins. Told him that was a poor way to handle business. So unprofessional and disappointing for a company that has had a presence in Pasadena for so long. He blamed his coworker that put up the sign and left. Doesn't matter. The sign should say what time someone was going to be back. This was the first and last time. The dry cleaning itself was good. Maybe try a different location that doesn't close their doors during business hours. Who has time to wait an hour for someone to show up for work?!? I certainly didn't. I just didn't want to have to drive back again and risk them having that sign up again.
