Fixed straps, tighter buttons for bustle, and steamed it so it wasn't wrinkly.

Recommend 100%! My wedding dress needed alterations ASAP, I called one Saturday morning and they took me same day, the person I spoke to on the phone was so nice. When I arrived, Anoosh greeted me, told me how bad the previous seamstress 'fixed' my dress and said she was able to fix it. Final product, a great fitting dress and a customer who will definitely return !!

Navy Blue Dress done by Anoosh! Exceptional work!

Came here for a bridesmaid dress disaster and found Anoosh who did an absolute exceptional job on my alterations. We had to go down two sizes in the dress and she made the dress look as if I never altered it.i truly appreciate people in business who genuinely enjoy the work and actually put pride in their workmanship.not a doubt would I go to anyone else for alterations! Fantastic work :)

I don't usually do reviews, but I feel very compelled to share my experience... last weekend I dropped off my wedding dress, just over two years have passed since we got married. I was completely heartbroken when I opened my gown bag to find that my dress had a huge stain that I didn't recall seeing when I packed it up two years ago. Seda, the owner, could not promise that they would be able to remove the stain, but she was willing to try! Seda called me personally and sent pictures of my dress, stains completely removed! A while back I had a bridesmaid dress altered and they went above and beyond with that as well! I will continue to bring all of my business here!

The back of my dress on Tuesday, June 14th, before the tear. No 12" platform, large pins holding up the top 2 layers of material.

I debated writing this review, as it pains me to say anything negative about anyone, but my fiancé urged me to write it so that no other bride has this experience. In May, I brought my brand new designer wedding gown into Tip Top Cleaners to have it altered. I had previously used them for dry cleaning many times. The dress needed to be shortened and the bustle needed to be sewed. Our wedding is in July and Anoosh, the seamstress, told me we had plenty of time. She had me put on the dress and she cut it to my length. She said she would call me when it was done, then I could come back and we could finish the bustle. I asked if she needed my information and she said not to worry, because I was in the computer. Four weeks later I had not heard anything from her, so I decided to call. Anoosh apologized and said they could not find my information because they did not know my name, even though she called me by my name in my appointment that day and on the phone. No harm, we still have plenty of time before the wedding, and I should come back in to do the bustle. I go back in that week and the hem has not been sewed, so over the four weeks nothing had been done to the dress. She has me put it on again that day, but does not do the bustle, saying she needs to sew it first. She says to come back in the next week, and I say ok. I return the next week, the dress has been hemmed, and she starts pinning the bustle up in back. I did not like the way that she pinned it the first time (one big pickup in one line), and she re-did the pinning in multiple places and I approved. This is where alarms started going off for me -- she was using very large pins and the material is very delicate, so I was concerned, but I am not a seamstress and assumed she knew what she was doing. She kept absentmindedly stepping on the dress with her shoes, but trying not to be rude, I didn't say anything. I carefully take off the dress, stepping out of it and hanging it up, and giving it to her. She said she would call me again when it was ready, and that she planned to sew small jewels in the places the bustle stitches are. She said it would be $400 total for my alterations and I agreed that was acceptable. She called me the next week and said to come in and try on the dress with the bustle. I went in and put on my dress. The bustle had been sewed differently than she pinned it, so not what I agreed to. The damage is done at this point though, taking out the stitches and re-doing them with how delicate the fabric is would destroy it. Surprisingly, this is not the reason for my one-star review. As she is un-bustling the dress to show me how to do it, she hands me a bit of the fabric to hold, and I notice a 2-inch wide square-shaped rip in the middle of the back of my wedding dress. I immediately called her attention to it. She said that I must have done it when I was "taking it off over my head" in my last fitting. I told her that was impossible, as I literally cannot take off my dress that way -- I step out of it every time. She said "yes, I was going to tell you, but don't worry, I'm going to fix it, I can sew it over so that it won't show." I felt absolutely sick, but told myself she was the seamstress and mistakes happen, she knew best, and it probably wouldn't show. I took the dress off and she said she would fix the tear and sew the jewels on the bustle and then call me. I thought about it overnight, and came to the conclusion I was not comfortable letting her keep the dress any longer. The next morning, I found another seamstress who could take it, and went to Tip Top Cleaners to pick it up. Seda was there when I arrived with a friend of mine. I told her I was not comfortable paying the full price for the alterations as Anoosh had not finished sewing the jewels. On top of that, now I had to pay someone else to fix the damage to the dress. I asked her for $100 off the total bill which I thought was fair, as it would cost me to have the dress fixed by someone else and put the jewels on. She would only take $50 off the total saying that Anoosh had agreed to fix the dress and we could have it fixed there (which I was obviously not comfortable with). That's when Seda told me that the dress had been ripped WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN. Thankfully my friend, who had been with me the day the dress arrived in the mail, was there. She affirmed that the dress was perfect when it went in to Tip Top. Seda would not adjust the price any more, so I paid the $350 just to get my dress out, then took it to another seamstress who said it would be $60 to fix it. The second seamstress would not take the dress without my acknowledgement that the hem was dirty -- probably because Anoosh had stepped on it. Since it takes quite a while to clean a wedding dress (on top of another week for the second seamstress to fix the rip), I don't have time to have it professionally cleaned before the ceremony. I hope any bride who reads this listens to his/her gut.

Nice place with good quality of job they do. Never had the problems with them, the staff is competent and polite. I consider it a little overpriced, but it's good enough to keep use their service.

I went in to have my bridesmaids dress expanded and Tip Top's tailor, Anoosh did such a beautiful job altering the back zipper into a corset! It fit perfectly and looked amazing throughout the entire wedding. I was so happy that the bride and other bridesmaids also loved it's new look! These wonderful ladies are so sweet and are fairly priced for the incredible work that they do! Thank you so much!! I highly recommend them for alterations!

From too small to perfect fit! Thank you!

I wasn't expecting so many, but these did clear up in a few days, as advertised. This place is a bit on the pricey side (there are cheaper laundromats nearby in Alhambra), but I appreciated that the machines were all working, the convenience of the card readers, and that the facility itself was clean and orderly. I will likely be back.

Rude Staff and Horrible Customer Service…read more I've been coming here for years, but the service from two of the employees--both heavy-set Latina women--is completely unacceptable. Today, I asked a simple question about when the dryers would be fixed. One employee responded short, hostile, and full of attitude, insisting "there is nothing wrong with the dryers," even though it was obvious they weren't working, and added the gas was off. When I asked for an update, she shrugged me off and acted like I was bothering her. It was extremely uncomfortable because there were other customers there, and she made a big deal out of it. She even went to the other girl on staff and seemed to talk negatively about me behind my back, giggling like she didn't have to treat customers properly. When I tried to clarify I wasn't being confrontational, she repeated "there is nothing wrong with the dryers." When I pointed out that more dryers keep going out over time, she shockingly said, "Well, if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else!" On another occasion, I left pants in a dryer and tried calling during business hours. Nobody answered, and when I came in, one employee was on her personal phone and seemed to be looking at social media or TikTok, I called in to observe if she would answer the phone while I was onsite and it just seemed like she was ignoring it. When I confronted her to tell her that I was trying to call to ask someone to please put my expensive pants aside she seemed defensive and dismissive. I understand they may not be highly paid, but that doesn't excuse rude, disrespectful behavior toward paying customers. I can understand if I was hostile or rude but I just simply asked and there attitude was uncalled for on both occasions. I hope management or the owner sees this review--and it would be great if they provided a direct phone number or email so I know it's actually getting to them. Until this behavior is addressed, I cannot recommend this location.

He presents unfinished work as "savings" while attempting to charge more than the full work order. Read on for the rant if you like, or just go next door. I brought six curtain panels to be cleaned and re-hemmed, he would not quote a price. A week later when I pickup the same man greets me with "great news, we saved you money, the hem on two were intact, we only did 4." With my savings: $250 for 6 curtain panels. I express that this isn't an acceptable price without a quote. He remembers not giving me a quote, but refuses to compromise. He's holding the pickup receipt. His volume increases, he immediately gets personal by asking if I have "ever been to a cleaner before." My volume admittedly increases now too. I asked him to show me this price documented on the pickup receipt, he keeps it from me. Shouting back and forth, directly mocking me to other customers. He is still holding the receipt. A woman employee steps in. She wants to go to the cleaner next door to validate their price of $25 a panel, I call my old cleaner and get a price over speakerphone, an unprompted $15. We compromise on $150. $60 (their tailor's price) for the hem, $90 (my cleaner's price) for the cleaning. Great deescalation, I feel better. As I leave she says "you pay $60 more than expected, we lose $60, it's okay." Quick math: this doesn't make sense, they compromised $100. I'm not going to argue. I admit it's to my benefit, and the card has been swiped anyway. I want to get out. I just looked at my pickup receipt a week later. The man refused to show it when I asked to see a the price, but the woman returned it with my credit card receipt. There was a price on it after all: $210 for 6 cleanings and 6 alterations. The man was charging me $250 after my "savings" of only requiring 4 alterations. Their business model: don't complete the work, jack up the price.
