Had to knock one star off because the finished garments were not steamed or pressed. My previous tailors always did this. I even told her I needed the garment for an event the evening I was picking the item up and when I picked up they were hung up with cleaners plastic over them so I assumed (my bad!) they were ready to go -- not. Ms. Kim has done marvelous alterations for me over the years covering suits, jackets, pants, shirts, etc. Her prices are more than reasonable and her work(wo)manship is top notch. She always delivers on time for me. She's friendly and kind, too. She gives good advice and will tell you if the alterations you want done aren't worth the money. That's real honesty! I tried this place in part because it's very close to home and has flexible hours, so it's easy to make it in on a Saturday afternoon. I've been three times, and had them do basic alterations and one that was more complicated, on a designer dress. They didn't take an obvious short cut in fitting the dress. If they had, the dress would have hung weird. They spent the extra time to take out the original seam and resew it from scratch; they did it right. This has always been a one-woman shop when I've visited, and the lady here is super nice and caring. The quality is what I'd expect from a higher-end place. But the prices are super low. If you need something altered, Angie is the best choice. She altered some clothes for me right before a trip, and got everything done so quickly! She didn't even charge extra for the short timeframe, so I made sure to add it in as a tip. The fitting process is very quick, and she's nothing but courteous the entire time. Prices are excellent-- I am having 3 skirts, 2 pairs of pants and one pair of shorts altered all for $125 (and these are extensive alterations with waistline and hemming included). She is a miracle worker! If you need jeans altered this is the place to go. I'm sure most guys in general have many pairs of old out of style jeans. Ie straight leg jeans from 5-10 years ago. Not wanting to be wasteful, we with keep it hidden out of the way in our closet or wear them when we run out of or "in style" skinny jeans. You can't sell those old jeans even to second hand stores because they are not in style. I decided to give it a shot and have Paris tailors turn my out of style jeans to in style skinny/skinnier jeans. To my surprise she did an amazing job on all my old favorite jeans.
