She told me to come today at 3pm to pick up my item. It's currently 3:30pm I've been waiting here for 15 min but I think she's not coming back. And I needed my outfit for tomorrows concert. They close tomorrow. Please respond back here.

V shaped black stitching in the MIDDLE of the jacket sleeve. ‍‍‍‍

Let's start off with a positive. It's affordable - I only paid $5, however the jacket is now completely ruined. There's a black v shaped stitch in the middle of the jacket sleeve. Vintage Galanos designer jacket from the 70s. The picture says it all. I wish she would've just told me it couldn't be done. I feel really bad leaving one star but that's kind of what this deserves sadly but I'll settle on 2 because I do have a soft spot for small businesses BUT they really need to step up their game. Edit: I was so frustrated about the jacket that I completely forgot to look at the top that needed restitching near the collar. For reasons I'll never understand, she decided to repair the tiny hole that was near the seam by adding a big black patch to the back. It looks worse X100 I should've just left the hole. All I can do is cry laugh at this point since both pieces are now ruined. This is just terrible work all around.

I've been to a few other more expensive tailors in Pasadena but always end up coming back to this place because I can always count on them for reliable and quick service.

I went to fashion cleaners bc I got a coupon in the mail for 20% off, but after going I feel like their prices are over inflated to offset the coupons they mail / what's on their website. Coupons are great when they actually lead to savings lol. But yes I came in because of the targeted marketing so good for them. It worked. Overall the experience was nice. Decent parking even though the lot can get packed I never had an issue finding a spot. The people who took my clothes and gave them back when my clothes were ready were nice enough. There's nothing amazing about this location to me and the price leaves more to be desired tbh. $26/dress for dry cleaning feels like highway robbery... but maybe idk current dry clean prices and I'm being a cheapskate?! Idk. But for now I've no reason to go back.

I think it's time to find another dry cleaner because I spent $40 on two jackets but I noticed stains that should have easily been removed were on the sleeve. When I looked at the other jacket it did not smell clean at all. It looked pressed. If the jackets were cleaned using actual dry cleaning products they did a lousy job.

My experience with Concierge Cleaners was awful. I found them to be incompetent, dishonest and…read moreunwilling to reimburse for clothes they ruined. Here is why: Our home was damaged in the Eaton Fire. Our clothes were smoke damaged and had to be professionally cleaned. Our remediation company recommended Concierge Cleaners. In hindsight, I suspect they got a kickback "Shane," (as he calls himself, is apparently the owner of Concierge Cleaners) picked up the hundreds of items to be cleaned. We were unable to live in our house for months, so the transfer of clothes was chaotic. After numerous requests, "Shane" finally gave an estimate which was far less than the amount ($2,533) that they ultimately billed. Among the clothes Concierge took were several expensive coats and suits. We obviously expected them to by dry cleaned. Instead, Concierge threw them in the wash with the underwear and t-shirts. Literally, they were put in a washing machine which ruined the fine wool, then put in a dryer which shrank them. Then they were tightly folded and wrapped with the laundry. The suits and coats were obviously ruined. When we informed "Shane" what happened we assumed he would act professionally and offer to compensate for the damage. When mistakes happen people with integrity take responsibility. But integrity is not "Shane's" strong suit. First he denied ever having the suits and coats. Then he claimed they could be fixed by dry cleaning them. That did not work since the fabric was already ruined and the suits shrunk two sizes. I told "Shane" we would be satisfied if Concierge paid just a fraction of the cost of replacing the suits. We have a lot going on trying to make our house habitable after the fire and don't have time to mess with an incompetent and dishonest dry cleaner. Unfortunately, Shane stopped responding and is now unreachable. So now we have to haul this clown into small claims court to get him to pay for the damage he caused. I have lived in the Pasadena area a long time and know there are good and reputable dry cleaners. Concierge is not one of them. If you want someone who does not know that fine wool suits have to be dry cleaned, lies about what happened to your clothes, and refuses to compensate you when he ruins your best clothes, then you will love "Shane" and Concierge Cleaners.

I decided to give Concierge Cleaners a shot after reading some of the reviews, as well as…read morecontacting other dry cleaning services in the area. First of all, the prices are pretty reasonable, being much lower than some of the other options in the Pasadena / Altadena area. When I called Concierge to inquire about prices, the man on the phone told me Men's Suits were $17 and dress shirts were $5. It sounded like a pretty good deal compared to other cleaners, so I dropped off two suits and two dress shirts on a Tuesday afternoon. The woman at the counter was very friendly and gave me a receipt ticket in which she instructed me to "ignore the date on the ticket" and that I "would receive a text when my items were ready for pickup." A few other women were in the small storefront having alterations done, should you choose to utilize that service offering. Two days later, on Thursday, I received the text that my clothes were ready. I headed over to pick up my clothing and inspected everything. The dress shirts looked fine, pressed and hung neatly. One of my suits had a small white powder stain on the front sleeve, but it came off quickly with a moist towel. The other suit looked great and everything seemed to be fine with the rest of my order. However, the final bill was $49 plus tax ($50.72 all in), which didn't match up precisely with what the gentlemen quoted me over the phone. However, it was close enough so I decided to pay the bill and not make a fuss. Obviously, there is some discrepancy with the pricing, as it wasn't listed online. I could have been a stickler for the extra $5, but I decided not to make a big deal of it as one of the other dry cleaners nearby quoted a price of over $40 for a suit cleaning. Parking is sometimes difficult in the small strip mall, with Fluffy Puppy and Captain Tobacco customers. However, there is a dedicated two spaces directly in front of the store for a quick in-and-out visit to the Concierge. A good option for dry cleaning in the area for a first visit.

Armeene's Tailoring & Alterations

Armeene saved my wedding day!…read more I originally bought my dress from a local bridal shop that promised many customizations. They phoned it in for all of them. Sloppy work for everything. Some of it was ignorable or blended in enough to ignore, but specifically a belted area around the waist ended up noticeably sloppy and wider than I wanted. They made a bunch of excuses and shooed me out the door. I couldn't even look at the dress without being mad - not a great wedding day vibe. Armeene came to my rescue with only two weeks left until the wedding! She was clear with me that it would be difficult to pull off - the dress was constructed in a way that made the customization difficult (why did the dress shop even promise it?? Ugh). Not only did she and her assistant understand exactly what I wanted and pull it off nearly perfectly, they did it in only two days for a price that I found to be more than fair!! I will forever be grateful to her. The next time I need some pants hemmed or altered I'm heading her way again! I've attached some before and after pictures to show the magic!

I was very comfortable and had an overall pleasant experience. Armeene did a wonderful job and had it ready at the time we agreed. Because the big day was for January 2025 in Pasadena, the fires had us postpone our date to the Fall. Fast forward to 3 days before the wedding, I noticed my dress was loose on the side due to a little weight loss. I reached out to Armeene and she asked if I could stop by that night. I picked up my dress the day before the wedding and the fit was perfect. My fiance also reached out to Armeene last minute with only a month before the wedding due to my recommendation. She purchased her dress through David's Bridal and had her dress altered in-house. Ever since she brought the dress home, she was not 100% happy with the fit and considering buying another ($!). But after her experience with Armeene, she felt so much better about her dress! Armeene mentioned that the tailoring from David's wasn't done right. Honestly, the fit can make or break how a dress feels and looks. You can tell Armeene loves what she does and it shows with her care and attention to detail. My wife and I are so appreciative of how our dresses turned out and especially touched by how supportive and open Armeene was through the whole process. We felt so comfortable and beautiful on our big day. Thank you, Armeene!
