1 star because even though this place is amazing for SELF service. I decided to get my laundry done here and I was in a rush. When I came back home I checked some of my clothes is missing and a big red blanket. I'm pregnant 35 weeks and I live super close so I thought I rather pay for them to do it instead and they also returned my basket broken. I would rather hire someone else who's more responsible I paid $70 to lose clothing Oh and to add to that my bath mat they couldn't even dry it properly I just opened it to put on the floor there's water drops and it's wet lol You can see from my ring camera I gave them a white basket with stuff and a large green bag that had my red blanket in it. I only have two big blankets. Also I checked my cameras you can see how it doesn't make sense to put a giant big green bag with the blanket on top of a little plastic bin. The lady claims there was a crack in it no there wasn't it's a flexible plastic one. Now that I see the camera how he's putting all that weight there it makes sense and you can see why I handed him two separate but that's what he did when I closed the door. She said the only issue was the wet clothing. Yeah .... Sure she's mad because of my review. Saying she's checking the camera there's way too many issues here for it to be something like this. I lived in DTLA and used to have a constant laundry service with Gator laundry and only once did I have a problem with them bleaching something out of using them 20 plus times. She didn't even offer any sort of compensation just being pissy about the review. The fact I called earlier today at 10:30am wondering if they would deliver my clothes she blamed the drivers had been busy. Really? Because the clothes is wet. Obviously they don't care how they handle anyone's clothing. She offered nothing but just being defensive as if I haven't gone to this laundry countless of times and you can clearly see in the photos how much stuff they took and how much was brought back. I didn't have time to check it all because I was trying to leave my home I was honestly hoping they would look for my blanket and offer a wash card. Because yeah my blanket did cost me some money and the basket while it's not expensive it's obvious he shouldn't have put all that weight on there. There was so many ways they could have handled this situation but it's cool. read more

Great new modern laundromat! The place is spotless, has nice lighting, and they have a ton of washers and dryers. Everything is super easy - just download an app, put in the store number and unit number, and you can pay with Apple Pay or credit card. The app even shows you the progress of your cycle so you know when it will be done. You can also pay with quarters if needed. The units all look new, the waiting area is nice, there is a restroom, and also ample parking out front. I'm definitely coming back. read more

It's a laundromat, but it's a very, very pleasant one! It's clean and well maintained. I started doing the wash and fold service and it's very affordable - I pay $30 on average for about 20 lbs of laundry give or take. Laundry King, one of a kind laundromat in the heart of Highland Park. Since day one that I've come to this laundromat I've always been welcomed by the young lady that works the evening shift. Helpful and always keeping everything spotless. I make my way from North Hollywood to wash because of the hospitality and cleanliness. I highly recommend this laundromat to anyone who's looking for peaceful welcoming experiences. The washer machines are all new including dryer machines. The convenient of being able to use an app on both android and iPhone with the option of putting coins in the machine is convenient when you do not have cash. I've been coming here for three months now and it's always a great experience. This is my neighborhood laundromat. Not long ago it was completely remodeled and it is always very clean. I like that a lot. My complaint is that, today, for the second time in less than one month, I unable to pay using their "Dexter Pay-Laundry Made Easy" phone app (which is promoted on signs throughout the laundromat). This app is very unreliable. When the app works, things are just great -- the washers & dryers do their job and the charges are applied to my card. But when the app isn't functioning, I just have to leave with my big basket of unlaundered clothes. The nice person working there was apologetic... Do I really have to hoard quarters or deal with a dumb dollar-to-quarters change machine? Are we still living in the 1950s? Why is the Dexter app so unreliable? As apps go, it doesn't seem like it's particularly complex. Hire a computer nerd & get it fixed already! read more

This laundromat is a full service and the employees and owners are so so nice. For people like me who are always on the go and don't always have time to sit at the laundromat waiting around, you can request a pickup and they also deliver too. But if you wait, there's a lot of areas to fold your clothes, more baskets than any other laundromat I've seen and you can watch the many TV's there. You can also buy your soap here too. It's literally a full service. I've had phenomenal experiences every time and I highly recommend this laundromat for all your laundry needs. read more

The only reason I'm leaving a review is because the lady with the curly hair is literally breathing on customers neck. She hears a noise and she assumes you are breaking something. She's very rude! Continuously comes to me and ask if I'm Still washing. Very annoying! Please give her the feedback to learn how to respect customers space. read more

This place is clean and well kept. Every machine is new and they have an option to pay through their app. The machines also take quarters. They have 8x to 2x load washers. Blankets and sheets fit with no issues. While washing, I had to go down the street to take care of some business and the employee told that he'd move my blankets to the dryer while I was gone. He even added some quarters in there for me. Love this place. They're going above and beyond for the neighborhood. read more

i am in the parking lot right now. it's 10:45p on saturday 3/21. the window is painted with a sign saying the last wash is at 11p and they close at 12a. when i opened my trunk, the hispanic lady who works there looked at me, whispered to another woman who was washing her clothes, and started the lock the doors and would not let me wash my clothes. i've never felt so disrespected and judged to be frank. wouldn't even give 1 star if it wasn't a requirement to leave a review. doesn't deserve your business. go somewhere else, avoid the bad service and disrespect if you have other options. what in the actual f**k read more

I used their Fluff and Fold service for sheets. Easy drop off and very quick service. My sheets were crisp and folded beautifully. However, I am very sensitive to smells and they use very fragrant detergent. I neglected to ask if they offer unscented detergent so it is not their fault. I will certainly use them again in the future if they do offer an unscented product. read more

I came to do my wash at 5:30 am and didn't feel safe because there was a man inside, going around the laundromat, not doing any wash. He was intimidating. Lucy, the lady who was maintaining the laundromat was outside when I got there because she also didn't feel safe. Please have better security, especially in the early hours of operation. read more
