I came to CleanSpin in the middle of the day on a weekday. It was fairly busy but always a few free machines and it felt safe. The woman in charge was friendly and constantly on top of everything, wiping everything down. The space is clean. The wash cycles I used were between 24 and 28 minutes. The credit card readers worked well. If management is reading - I wish the machines were numbered. If you have loads scattered throughout the place because those are the machines that were available when you got there, it's hard to keep track of where your stuff is. There was one issue but I suspect it might be true for all laundromats - I hadn't used one since you could smoke in restaurants and back then no one had a sense of smell. Anyway, I use a strong but fragrance free detergent and when I wash at home, my clothes have no smell after. I did 6 loads at CleanSpin and when they were done they all smelled like perfume. I ran all of the machines again, dried my clothes, took them home, and every thing I washed there smells very strongly of harsh detergent with a strong fragrance that is not what I used. Some of my clothes also pilled in a way that happens with harsher detergents but not when I wash at home. Fingers crossed that it will only take me one wash at home to get the fragrance out. CleanSpin is in the same strip mall as York Kebab (formerly named U-Pick) which has great affordable food, lots of vegan options. read more

Good laundromat, located in a plaza there's good amount of parking, there's also street parking available. Price is not bad, have credit card option available (though I've never tried it). Also have wifi, bench, and TV. There's a lady there that always clean, so place is well maintained. read more

Clean facility and accepts credit cards. The parking lot is small so it fills up fast.

Machine stopped during wash. I called customer service and a machine answered. Three hours later I got a live person who took 45 additional minutes to address water on the floor and to provide a refund. The bathroom was locked since opening as well. The attendant must have had the day off she's great but this does not make up for bad customer service. Do better! read more

Very clean laundromat with new machines. The laundromat has Wi-Fi and charging stations. The Worker is always cleaning. The restroom is well-maintained. The only issue is sometimes it is hard to find parking. Also, you may find the restroom locked at times. read more

I have been here too many times. I thought it got the job done; but every other visit at least one of my t-shirts has a new rust stain from the machines. More than once there's been bleach left in the washers which ruined a few of my items. Not to mention the owners consistently smoke right outside the front doors. Nothing smells better than fresh clothes with fresh cigarette smoke in them. Will no be returning. read more

Another year, another price increase. $4 per wash now for standard machine. $5.50 for large machine

Great laundry mat. Clean, modern, and safe. The manager is very kind and hard working.

All the equipment is brand new, there's limited seating but there are modcons like wifi and power sockets. There's a vending machine too, and I think a toilet. This comes at a cost. The washes start at $2.50, but the dryers are $0.25 for 10 mins. So a wash is $3.00. You could probably find cheaper, but I like this place. There's staff on-site to keep things spic and span. read more

Very clean, a woman was actively cleaning the whole time I was there. Smells clean as well! Easy and safe location. Plenty of parking. Felt a bit pricey compared to other places in the area. read more

I got hurried to finish my laundry at 9:40 the lady said she wanted to close early. I told her I thought the places closes at 11 but she said she likes to close early read more

This place is super clean, the staff is very helpful, and most of the people in here also tend to be very friendly and from the neighborhood. Good vibes in here. Way better than my old place! Recommend. read more

Without a doubt the best laundromat I've been to in LA. The owner is there making sure everything is working well and is so nice. This is probably also the cleanest laundromat I've ever been in. You can tell that she cares about the upkeep of the business. I'll go out of my way to take my laundry here, 10/10. read more

Very clean, tidy, and plays current hits for music. I love the fact that the machines accept card and coins. The prices are fair for how the machines work. They are new, wash well, and fast! read more

super clean and well run! only problem is that telephone number doesn't work. Maria runs the place very well. she is very nice and takes care of all the customers read more

I showed up at 9:30 trying to do a load of laundry and a woman cleaning told me that they were closed even though it says they're open till 11 PM and they do not sell laundry soap or anything for you to do your laundry. read more

They charged me 15$ to dry instead of $.25 cents using the card swipe. I've read other reviews and say that the owner has told them it was a temporary hold. Why is this necessary? I will change this review once I see the money back. If not then it's worth 15$ for this shitty review of what could be a scammy business practice. And make sure to share it on social media. And it's been 3 days since I went and still haven't seen a change on my bank account. Also the lady that works there told me a previous time I was there they are closing at 9pm and turned me away when I found out later they close at 10. My dryer has been on the fritz in my building so I've been having to come here since it's close by. Never again. read more

It is a clean laundromat with a small parking lot but at the time I went, I could find parking. People seem to conscious of time and leave promptly. They have quite a few front load washers and dryers and only a row of top loading washers. They use quarters. read more

Very clean and well run service. The change making machine works, the washing machines are clean, the dryer does have excess fabric sheet smells. The atmosphere is not chaotic; TV with sound off and one radio channel playing. No small children running around screaming. read more

This is my go-to laundromat. The machines take card (although would recommend bringing quarters for the washers so you can do more than 5min at a time). Maria is the woman who services the business and she is there from open to close. She is so kind and helpful and treats everyone with respect. She is definitely the thing that keeps me coming back each time! read more

I have been doing my laundry in this laundry mat for over 3yrs now and the machines are good still till now and when I forgot my laundry last month, Maria just kept till i come back read more

I rarely go to the laundromat since I have onsite washer and dryer in my apartment complex. However, today I just wanted to get all the laundry done at once. Everything was great up until it was time to go. I had all my laundry ready to go but was at one point a bit distracted helping my son put the laundry in the car. Fast forward several hours later when I began putting laundry away at home and realized that I was missing one of my laundry bags. I clearly remember putting the last bag in the basket (how could I forget it was a bright hot pink laundry bag). This was around the time that I was back and forth helping my son and unfortunately left the basket unattended. So, to whoever took my laundry bag full of socks and underwear, I hope you enjoy them! It's disgusting to think that you can't step away for a moment because someone may take your stuff. Also, it would be nice if someone picked up the phone or was around when I went back to inquire on missing laundry. Never going back to this place as it's very clear that the people who frequent this establishment are thief's. read more

The $2.50 machines might not clean all your clothes. When I asked the attendant if it was normal for socks to be outside the spinner she replied "just squeeze the socks". Please fix this issue! read more

Clean. Nice attendant. Simple coin or credit card payment directly at the machine! Open until midnight.

Was waiting for this laundromat to open and came when it finally did. Pros: Nice and clean Friendly attendant Credit cards accepted Change machines Vending machines WiFi Tv's Free dyers during their grand opening (don't know when it ends) Cons: Parking could get crowded Not enough benches to sit No AC it can feel like a sauna, even with the "fans" on I continue coming because I like the atmosphere but the AC thing is a HUGE deal ! Also I like that their change machines will give you change, for example if you put a $20 it will give you $5's back instead of breaking the whole 20 bill!) also a heads up, I did use my card for 1 washer (4.75) and it "pre-authorized" my card for $15, called management and they communicated well, I had to wait for the charge to clear which was eventually correct but didn't like the $15 hold, if you're using your card for more washers than that could be worth it. read more

Im hoping the owner of this business see this and will reply back but I got charged $15 on my account when I only the used 2 of the small machine that charge $1.75. How do I get reimbused? I been trying to contact the business but no one answers and its been 2 days. Thank you for replying. read more

Been coming to this laundromat for years now. It's always super clean, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Plus, the machines are great quality and with the one time I had an issue, a staff member helped me with no problem. There's also free wifi which is really convenient. Highly recommend! read more

always incredibly clean in here, and the machines are kept in perfect condition. never had any issues, and the staff is incredibly friendly. been coming here for 3 years and I will be for many more! read more

Been using this laundromat since December. Excellent washers and dryers. The lady that works here does an exceptional job at keeping it clean. Parking sucks! read more

Clean and efficient but the card function is a scam. Each swipe charges $15.00 per load (should be $2.50). Warning: do not use cards here!

I've been coming to this laundry mat for over 3 years. We moved to the area and decided to give this place a try. We were astonished by how clean and well maintained the place was. Maria does an amazing job with keeping the place clean, organized, and welcoming. Maria is such a hard worker. She is the reason why we continue to come back. We love Maria!!! read more

Where do I begin!? I've been a customer at most of the laundromats in the Eagle Rock/Highland Park area and this gem outshines them all. Yes, the machines are all new with various sizes available. Yes, there is a well maintained bathroom available to customers. Yes, it is clean and well attended to. Yes, there are outlets and wifi available and of course vending & change machines. But what makes this business really stand out is Maria the attendant. She is very friendly, professional, kind and helpful. I had left a number of clothes there by accident overnight and after arriving first thing the next morning(6am) and calling the service number, Maria called me right back. She had found them and had safely kept them in the back. It was a huge relief and I am so thankful and grateful that CleanSpin is maintained by such an angel! Thank you. I most certainly will return! -When its not crowded ;) read more

good late hours and they take card. the lady who runs it is an OG. good walking distance from restaurants and cafes to wait at.

Normally very clean and easy to use, with a hard-working attendant keeping things organized. This time several machines were down - is the owner absent or uncaring? Used my card on the washing machine for a $2.50 wash, got home and found a $15 charge on my card. I will be pursuing this through the fraud unit of my bank. This has got to stop. You've been notified of this problem before; please correct this issue immediately. read more

I love this place. Especially when it's not busy. Maria is amazing & super sweet! She goes above & beyond keeping the place clean & running well. I never use credit cards when I wash here, though I have at other places & there's always a pending charge that falls off of 10-15 bucks per use. It's a bit excessive but I get the pending hold as some gas stations do it too. So bring your quarters if you don't want pending changes. The change machines will break a $20. And be respectful sometimes people leave clothes in machines for over an hour & other folks need to use the machines too. Don't leave it for Maria to tend to. read more

Neighborhood laundromat! Been coming here a few times and the place is always clean! They really take care of the place and value their customers! Would definitely recommend to family and friends read more

I would selfishly prefer not posting my review but I want the owners to understand how much Maria's work at the laundromat is appreciated. I have been washing at this laundromat for a little over a month & I was stunned to learn at my last visit that Maria, the woman who cleans & maintains the store so immaculately, is not the owner! The care & attention to detail that she gives to cleaning & maintaining the laundtomat is unmatched! I can only hope that the owner reads these reviews & is s mb art enough to appreciate & compensate Maria for the outstanding job she does in maintaining the laundromat in such impeccable & immaculate order! read more

DISCLAIMER. Im going to write this review and then Im going to hope I never see yall mofos in there. So lets just get into it. (Also the first time I went, that this review it based on, was on a Friday between 3pm and 5pm.) BEST LAUNDRY MAT Ive ever been in while living in LA. Its clean (oh so clean), no riff raff, prices are fair, lots of available machines. I think most of the machines have the option of quarters and card slot. The only minor gripes I had that lead me into the 4 stars rather than 5 was that they had a small sink but no paper towels and the laundry clerk there wasnt hospitalitable, atleast to me. Probably due to the fact that I dont speak or look Spanish bc she was talking to the Spanish speakers in there. Just a simple "HI"or "can I help u" would suffice. You know, good customer service or atleast present your self to be approachable. She ignored the shyt out of me. But that wont hinder me from goin back. So you know; if u live around there dont go there. Just kidding. But seriously its great, lets keep it clean and nice, and hopefully no homeless will come in there and get buck naked just to wash the clothes on their back. read more

I love CleanSpin - the primary staff woman is always friendly and keeps the facility clean. There is almost always parking. The card swipes are easy to use and I never have to worry about coming up with enough quarters. On that note: the card swipes show an initial 15 dollar hold on your bank statement. Once the charge clears, your statement will reflect the actual amount you spent. I had a question about this and wrote a letter to the facility. The owner called me back and kindly explained how this works. And this is exactly correct! read more

I love this laundromat since they replaced all the machines and dryers. The person that works there is just awesome her name is Maria! All she does is clean all the time and is a very sweet person! I don't think I would keep going back there if she left!!! Maria is a keeper that's for sure read more
