After my wedding, I was amazed to see how beautifully they restored it; it genuinely looked brand new again. Every detail was handled with such care, and the preservation was done beautifully. What impressed me most was how quickly they were able to complete everything within such a short timeframe without compromising the quality of their work. My dress is such a sentimental piece, and knowing it was carefully cleaned and preserved so beautifully means so much to me. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my wedding dress and preserving such a special part of my wedding day. I am beyond happy with the results!

I've been going to this laundromat for about 3 years. I go very early in the morning when the…read moremanager is there. The place is immaculately clean which is no wonder as he works hard at it. Daily he vacuums the lint out of all the driers, as well as some of the washers where soap powder has been to used instead of liquid. He checks all the washers for lost items that can become stuck between the door and the rubber. He cleans all of the machines, and at least once a week I've seen him wash the windows. He does advise which machine is best to use because some are meant for heavy items while top loaders are not. He can be a bit forceful at times if you aren't listening, but he means well. Most importantly the place is immaculate, and the prices are similar to other places in the area.

We are all scientists, they say. And there comes a moment in everyone's life when the formula E =…read moremc2 has much less relative meaning than m is greater than E. m greater than E, you say? (Yelp has forbidden greater-than signs, fyi.) Yes. That moment when the mass represented by your laundry is waaaaaaay greater than the energy you have to do it at home. That moment when you realize that if you actually wash every sleeping bag, comforter, pillow, piles and piles of gym clothes, not to mention unmentionables, you will not be leaving your home for over 48 hours. Coin Laundry to the rescue. First of all, kudos on the form-follows-function name of this business. It is what it is. And no irony. What a relief. Second of all, they just completely remodeled the place. Bitchin' gigantic German washers to completely TERMINATE those piles of laundry (and, yes, I know he's Austrian). New counters for folding those T-shirts. Great wi-fi (only hitch? You have to actually call someone for the code, which feels awkward at 6:00 am.....) Third of all, they appreciate history. They have kept the fabulous old dryers that blast your wet laundry, Yes, you have to keep an eye out 'cause they require a quarter every 8 minutes or so. But it's worth it. Two Starbucks nearby. Free parking. Change machine. I'll be back.

I finally got the chance to utilize this facility. The credit card option is very convenient! The space is very clean and there's always an attendant on site. All the machines are maintained well and there's always ratio of out of service machines vs the working ones are minuscule. They have 2-load machines, 3-load machines, larger ones for linens and sheets, and the jumbo one if you're the type who prefers to stuff all their laundry together to save time! There are plenty of dryer machines you won't need to wait long to get one. The quarter machines are still in effect and who doesn't like the nostalgia? The only feedback I have is that (1) Tap option on the machines do not work at all. I prefer to use my Apple Watch to pay but since it only takes card swipes, I opt for the quarters instead. (2) some of the machines need a clean out as they're starting to smell like mildew. I have to increase my laundry booster to make sure my clothes won't smell like mildew when it's done. Hopefully that's in the works. Otherwise, it's a laundry facility i highly recommend!

Because of that, I…read moredecided to start saving money and wash my comforter myself, which led me to Star Coin Laundry -- and I'm glad it did. The facility is clean, modern, and well maintained. There are customer-only bathrooms, plenty of seating and folding areas, and both self-service and drop-off laundry options available. While I was there, attendants were continuously cleaning -- wiping machines, sweeping, and even cleaning inside the washers and dryer vents. The space stayed quiet, but the staff was friendly, said hello, and were helpful to anyone who had questions. The machines are modern, in great condition, and clearly well cared for. They also have several newer machines, including large-capacity dryers that can handle huge comforters -- even multiple at once, which is exactly why I came. There are two vending machines on site as well. Parking is another big plus: free, plentiful, and easy. Prices are reasonable too, with machines ranging from $3.00, $4.00, and $6.00, depending on size. Overall, Star Coin Laundry was clean, efficient, and surprisingly pleasant.

Some updates have been done like newer washer machines, but they still have some of the older machines which load from the top which I prefer if you need to do some prewash scrubbing. Many of the hampers were also changed which is great because they now move much smoother when you push the hamper. They pulled off the old flooring, but I hope they are planning to place new flooring because the "floor" looks horrible! The dryers are ok if they clean out the traps which I think they don't do often enough because often I've had to use another quarter after putting $0.75. Depending which dryer you use, three quarters can last up to 15 minutes vs 24 minutes. Even with that amount of time, I usually end up adding another quarter in order to complete the drying process. Only one out of two TVs work and sometimes you can hear the sound. There's a small sink to wash your hands. Thin paper towels are available next to the sink. Plenty of tables to fold your laundry. Plenty of free parking in front of this establishment. Open till midnight.

My visit had a few bumps but overall it was a pleasant stay. Positive: Pay by phone. It's been so long since I've done this, so (of course) there's an app. It was very easy and convenient. It even tells you how much time is left. Negative: The calibration was off by 7 minutes. No biggie, but I expected technology to be better than that. Huge Negative: The machine locked up on me and I couldn't get my wash out. (That could happen anywhere, but seriously, I'd like it not to do that on my first time out) Huge Positive: The friendly staff got right on it and fixed it in under 10 minutes. Bonus: The difference in time made folding my clothes easier. I didn't have to rush to get it all done at once. Would I use them again? Absolutely! (If I have to. I want my washing machine back!)
