this would be my favorite laundromat if it weren't for the dryers... almost every dryer i've used stops during the cycle because of an error message. the staff (who are very nice) will say it's because you over filled the machine but that's not true because it stops with small loads. it makes drying take 10x longer and hearing other customers yell at the staff cause they're frustrated the dryers keep stopping makes the experience miserable. please fix the the dryers read more

Hey there guys, I have been to this laundry mat twice! The first time I experienced no problems but the second time I went, I had a issue with one washer and several dryers! The laundry staff refused to issue a refund and directed me to call a number laminated on the wall. I still haven't heard back since I called a couple of weeks ago. I tried them for the first time today. I needed to wash a couple of comforters so I decided to give this place a try. Overall it is a decent place with plenty of washing machines and dryers. The place was well kept and maintained. It was clean and there were two attendants present when I came in. One was wearing a white shirt and was actively washing/drying/folding I assume customers' orders and the other attendant wearing an orange shirt who was maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment. I saw him going around wiping the machines. Parking can be a little small and tight during peak times. The time I came in today was slow and I did not have any issue finding parking. I was using their fluff and fold every week for a couple of months. It was costing between $35 and $50 per week for my and my kid's clothes. There's one shared coin washer/dryer where I live, so this is just a convenience I was willing to pay for. I had previously been using a different laundromat, but this one felt a bit more organized by having the sheet to complete. However, it stopped being convenient and organized after a while. Firstly, it's almost impossible to find parking in there. And it's not like I could just pull up with my flashers on to just quickly drop off or pick up because the driving area is so narrow but MORE IMPORTANTLY, and this is the actual reason I stopped going, there was no way of knowing how long it would take for me to drop off or pick up the laundry. I have no idea if it's just me or the nature of how they are trained, but there is ZERO sense of efficiency with the guys taking care of the fluff and fold. Something that honestly should have never taken more than 5 minutes has taken me up to 30 minutes before. Once, he was trying to sort something over the phone, but was clearly on hold at the time, and had me just waiting. They almost seem annoyed having to get your laundry. Again, I'm not sure if it's me or just how they treat everyone, but I can just go somewhere else. The straw that broke the proverbial camel's back was when I showed up after a long day and they said I needed to pay in cash, their own ATM was down, and they didn't seem to care how much of an inconvenience it was to send me elsewhere. Mind you, they had three different forms of contact information for me to let me know before I even got there. I also had to replace socks and got pieces of other people's laundry a couple of times. I know it seems small, and my $200 isn't going to make or break their business, but LA is annoyingly complicated, especially as a single mom with a young kid, so I'm paying for fluff and fold to not have drama. read more

The men who hang out in front of the place actually always look out for me lol when I'm by myself . Good prices on the vending machines and soaps . Okay, I was a bit sketch driving into the area, and I feel like Yelp sometimes can be a little off, so I was hesitant about coming here. But once I got inside and did a walk about, I realized that this place deserves five stars. It's clean, has ample seating, and there are SO many machines. They offer parking right out front. The service is nice. The owners are EVEN nicer. It's family owned and you can see the son repairing and cleaning and assisting. Even the people who come here are pleasant. They have two of the huge speed queens! there is WiFi available, albeit a little slow, but it's free! I definitely will come back and highly recommend this place. read more

Oasis laundry had been my go to laundry for over 6 years now. The well-maintained machines and the high standards of cleanliness in the laundry were key factors that attracted me. Unfortunately it seems as though these standards have declined lately. There has been an increase of individuals loitering in the area. I chose to overlook the situation and continued utilizing this facility for my laundry needs. However, my last straw was a couple weeks ago when I walked into the laundry to the strong smell of tobacco - there was a man smoking a cigarette in the children's area. The laundry only had a handful of people in there, & luckily, no kids but who's to say there wasn't a pregnant person, someone with asthma attacks, or someone like me who gets tobacco induced migraines. The employee exchanged friendly words with him so I'm assuming friends of employees get to do whatever they please at this business! Very unfortunate as I really liked this laundromat but this situation forced me to look for a different place. read more

Amazing customer service! The place itself is pretty big and clean. The reason for amazing customer service is because one of our dolls popped in the washer and stuffing exploded inside. One of the guys working there was super kind and gave us tips on how to get the stuffing off of the rest of the items in the same washer. He kept checking up on us to see if everything was okay and once his shift was over he told us to tell another staff to start up the washer for us for free! They have giant washers and dryers for a great price too! I would definitely recommend going here if you need a place to wash sheets or a lot of laundry. read more

I used other washers for different loads and those ones came out much cleaner. He wouldn't listen to me, said it was probably my fault, refused to refund the washing cost nor would let me rewash them for free. He couldn't have cared less or been more unhelpful. Upon entering I wasn't initially impressed but I figured I'm here now so may as well stay. I appreciate that they don't use laundry cards as I have several from laundromat I can't remember. When I went to get my change I noticed little paper trays they had to hold your change. That literally made my day. It really is the simple things. The laundromat was busy (Sunday 8am) but it didn't feel over crowed. There was plenty room to spread out. The machines require you to select your wash cycle and water temp before you deposit all the money so don't forget that or you will be stuck washing cold that was meant to be hot. I yelped for a laundromat in my area and came across Oasis Laundry's 5 stars! I live in mid-city and decided to drive a couple of miles to give this place a shot. I'm EXTREMELY pleased with Oasis Laundry. The environment is very warm and friendly. I approached the mini mart/drop off center and I was greatly with a friendly hello and smile, by the owner, Arthur. I did not know he was the owner at that time. Arthur is very knowledgeable about all of the machine and products that he carries. Gave me a mini tour and told me that if I needed assistance with anything else, he or another one of his employees is more than happy to help. I have never been to a laundromat that has provided such great customer service. Oasis Laundry also has a variety of vending machines, coin dispensers, and the restroom is very well kept, which is a super plus! Recently moved to Jefferson Park and was looking for a place to do my laundry as my rental unit doesn't have a washer dryer. This place is great! The machines, washers and dryers both, are high quality and the dryers are great for small, medium and large loads alike. Every time I've stopped by, there have been open machines and little crowding. Vending machines offer drinks and snacks, and there is a convenience store a few storefronts away if you need to get cash and prefer not to use the ATM inside. Ever since I found this place, I only wash here! I love the different variety of washers and the quality of them! From single load to 8 loads they've got it all. I love that the dryers are so spacious and it's a quarter to start! The space itself is big, but it does get busy and with the parking lot only fitting about 10 cars it can be hectic if you show up on a busy day. There's always staff walking around cleaning and checking up on machines and they're really friendly and helpful! Also, I love how it's not a regular boring laundry mat, it's so bright and colorful and it feels so alive and entertaining. This has to be the nicest laundromat I've ever been to. It's seriously nothing like your typical laundromat and you realize that the second you step foot inside. The staff here is always beyond helpful when it comes to service. They also sell drinks and ice cream which is nice, and the location is very clean. I come here every week for wash and fold service and not once have I ever received bad service or had any problems.
