Very nice laundromat! It's very clean and the staff are very particular in keeping it clean (one lady was cleaning up a storm when I arrived). Speaking of staff, the lady that was cleaning offered to help me with anything I needed. I told her it was my first time being at the laundromat so she offered to help me. While everything was pretty self-explanatory, I just wanted to point out the amazing customer service. I wasn't there very long and I'm very impressed with the laundromat. The music selection is pretty amazing (it was early 2000s R&B music when I went), and I just really like the whole ambiance. Parking is a little tricky; it is in a small shopping center with other businesses so you can park on the street if there is no parking inside. UPDATE- 0 Stars- Immediately after leaving my review below this one, the owner pulls up to the laundromat and yells out "who is Jacqueline S?!" She began to yell at me and scold me in front of my toddler for a good 5 minutes. I was super uncomfortable and my son was scared. What a weird "business professional" to feel comfortable yelling at a customer in front of her child. My previous review stated facts, let's make it a more positive experience for customers instead of trying to scare people into leaving a good review. PREVIOUS REVIEW- 3 Stars - I like this laundromat but it's almost impossible to get laundry done here in a reasonable amount of time. The weekends are understandably busy but then during the week the employees who wash the drop off laundry take up all the washers and dryers. It's pretty frustrating. You end up being stuck here waiting for a washer, counter space to fold and a dryer (especially a dryer). They leave the clothes just sitting in the dryer or washer and get to it when they get to it. Even though they notice customers waiting. There has to be another system for drop off laundry, it's not fair to walk in customers. Or, this might as well be just a drop-a-load spot. read more

I have been in countless laundromats over the last 5 decades and Wild Swan Laundry is an oasis in that vast laundromat desert. Most of my past laundromat experiences have followed Louis Sullivan's "Form follows function." with cinder block walls, gouged and scratched drywall, or peeling paint. The function was present with requisite washers and dryers but the feeling was certainly something out of Terry Gilliam's 1985 dystopian classic Brazil. Walking into Wild Swan Laundry is a revelation. The decor is boutique-esque and welcoming. The colors are warm and inviting. The people associated with Wild Swan who we met were very friendly. There were, of course, the requisite washers and dryers. The washers ranged from traditional single load washers up to large heavy duty 10 load washers. The dryers were large and efficient in their drying power. The machines were set up to take either coins or credit cards. They were all exceedingly clean and well maintained. There was also an engaging music selection playing in the space to add an uplifting atmosphere to all the washing that was going on. We love Wild Swan Laundry which sets the standard for what all laundromats should aspire to. We left feeling refreshed with clean laundry (Yay!) and satisfied smiles on our faces. I hate having to pay for a card and load it with money or load money onto an app. This place has both quarter & card options for both washer & dryers! Staff is very friendly, music is good, environment is clean, nice indoor & outdoor seating area Extra points because they have a "free clothes" section for clothes that have been left unclaimed for weeks. Love the sustainability and resourcefulness. The only con I have is that the dryer is pricier than most places. As a previous review said, .75 to start then .25 extra after that. I've been coming to this laundromat regularly, but after how my sister was treated, I won't be returning and neither will my family. She left an honest review about her experience, and instead of responding professionally, the owner confronted her in person, yelled at her in front of my toddler nephew, and made her feel unsafe and humiliated. That's completely unacceptable and unprofessional. No customer should be intimidated or harassed for giving feedback. It's disappointing because we've supported this place for a long time, but we can't continue to give business to someone who treats people this way. Pros: -Clean (obvious highlight for a laundromat) -Takes credit/debit (only for washers, you'll need quarters for dryers. They have change machines onsite). -Quiet. I've never had to wait for a machine to be free and I've gone during peak times most days of the week. Cons: -The dryers are unreliable and expensive. The washers are a bit pricey too. You have to pay almost $1 just to start a dryer. Each $0.25 you spend thereafter only adds 3 mins from my memory, so be prepared to spend around $5 per dryer for a standard load at 50-ish minutes on medium temp. I've had their dryers die twice on me only a few mins in. This happened in the early evenings on a weekday and no one was available to help, so I've wasted about $10 here. I live close by. This place would be a 5/5 if they fix some of their dryers. I don't expect top-notch or readily available customer service at a laundromat. I just want to know I'm getting what I'm paying for, even if it's only a few bucks. read more

I am very disappointed with my experience today. I read the reviews and thought I might have finally found a laundromat in Pasadena. I was wrong. I used one of their top load machines to wash my small batch of whites and when it was done I grabbed my clothes and they were soaking wet still! I had to spend time wringing out all my whites before putting them to dry. I get it machines break what upsets me more was that there was no attendant on duty. I knocked on the door and window and nothing! Not only that but it turned my socks yellow! I do not use choline or bleach on my clothes. read more

A tad more expensive than other laundry mats but this one is clean and updated. Machines work great and driers work amazing- they dry really fast. Workers are friendly. Parking is shared with other businesses so parking might be difficult at times but other than that there's no complaints. It wasn't really busy when I went so there was ample space for me to fold. They also have laundry services, I forgot the price but a good option for people who do not have time to wash and have the extra $ to spend. Definitely a good place to check out for your washing needs :) read more

Found the best little laundromat in our new area - needed to wash all of our pet beds & blankets! It's on the south-west corner of Washington & Allen and had both card and coin methods of payments available. There is an attendant and everything is clean and repaired. They r next to a good Mexican place (El Matador) and a good dry cleaner too - also good vibes abound... read more

This was my first time using this laundromat because my washing machine at home was currently being repaired. I loved that all of the washers and dryers are huge and brand new. It was convenient that they accept credit/debit cards and even Apple Pay so that you don't have to collect a bunch of quarters to do laundry. My only gripe was that for some reason, the two washing machines that I chose to use during my visit were both giving me a hard time with my debit card. When I tapped my card, it kept declining the card, and it also declined my Apple Pay. I had already put detergent into both washers, so I couldn't move my clothes to a different machine because I would have wasted my detergent. After tapping/swiping my card about 5 times on each washer, it finally accepted my card and started to wash. I did not have this problem with the dryers. I was afraid that my card would be charged for all of the excessive times that I swiped/tapped it, but luckily after checking my bank account it seems that did not happen. Overall, I would use this laundromat again in the future, if necessary. I might actually come here to use the gigantic washers/dryers to wash my large comforters and blankets instead of washing them at home. read more

Came in to wash clothes and had terrible experience with the cleaning people. Normally a decent experience although machines could be cleaned better. However, the last time I couldn't find my hamper. One of the people threw it away and then dug it out of the dumpster and tried to give it back. I said I don't want my clean clothes going in a dumpster hamper and walked out. As I was leaving one of the ladies commented that I had a bad attitude (very unprofessional).You mean I wasn't happy to have my stuff thrown away for no reason? No kidding. Then she made a comment about my hamper looking like "$hit" anyway. My hamper works just fine for holding clothes even if one handle is broken. Absolutely infuriating to be berated after having my hamper thrown away for no reason. There were still clothes in the dryer so it's not like I left the hamper there overnight, it was there for 1.5 hours. read more

Best Laundrymat around Pasadena/Altadena area. I've been here since it was remodeled and they did a great job. The ladies that work there are amazing. Parking is a bit tricky because it's a small plaza with a few other businesses but I usually visit during the week and find parking. They have a self service and pay for service option. I haven't had any issues at all. I love that they don't just throw away clothing that was left behind for months; they put it out for free to anyone that can use it, that's amazing. read more

This place has great customer service! I was having trouble with a machine and a nice lady with long blond hair helped me out. The machine I had put my soap and clothes in was not accepting Apple Pay. After a few tries we just switched the clothes out to another machine. She then let me use some soap and fabric softener. This might not seem like a lot but I've been to other places and have been Sh*t out of luck and had to pay again to use a different machine.
