Over priced $8.75 a load for medium machines and the small machine is $4.75 a load it's over priced. If you forget to add something to your laundry and need to stop the machine it legitimately makes you pay for a wash all over again. My fist and only time I'd ever go here. I have come here a few times and have always had a good experience. This laundromat is clean and pretty self explanatory; they have so many machines and almost-free drying, which is awesome if you're in a rush. This past visit, I was using one of the bigger machines to wash my bedspread and the woman working, Denise, was very helpful when I needed assistance with the machine. Thank you again Denise! Wow same horrible customer service. Went in today because I was in a rush and I hoped I'd see the nice lady who did my laundry before. She was there and I said hello, no issues at all. I told her I was happy she was there and if she could do my laundry for me whenever she had time. Was about to pay when this other woman walked up and said did I remember leaving a bad review before. Interior: The workers who are there keep the place really well kept. There are multiple carts around. They even have nice seating areas where you can wait while your clothes washes/dries. Also, they have massage chairs where you pay $1 for every 2.50 minutes. They use a laundry card system. You purchase a card for $1 (or refill the current one you already have), and use your debit/credit card to load up your card. Min is $5 and Max is $24. read more

I live about two blocks away from this laundromat. I recently tried to wash a large blanket in my home washer, and it couldn't handle it. So I decided to bring it to this laundromat. I could've brought 10 comforters, the machines are so huge and capable. The attendant was very helpful in getting me situated and explaining how the whole process works. Facilities are clean, brightly lit and very active. While it's convenient to have a laundry in my home, there's something to be said about the time saved in doing all of your laundry at the same time in one load. I probably won't frequent this place often, but it's a nice option when I have a lot of laundry and not a lot of time, or my super large blankets. read more

It is very convenient, water prices are good. There is staff on site. Sometimes they shutdown early 9:40PM on Friday and won't even let you get water. I understand not starting a load of laundry but why close at 9:40 when it states your open? If you need to wash and dry this place makes it fast. A lot of room for improvement. Start with cleanliness. Cash or credit card accepted. Either way you need to "buy" their special card for $1.00. It is supposed to be for frequent users. Take that card, once loaded with money, to your washer and dryer. Supposedly your $1.00 is refundable. There is no way the owner cares about keeping this place wiped down or clean. Why would you? The whole point is "clean laundry". They have food vending, a video game, laundry services and fresh water (think 5 gallon) for purchase. I would avoid unless in the area and using once like myself. I have been coming here for about two years, ever since I moved to Altadena. It used to be great, but little by little this laundry mat has been getting worse and worse. I have been contemplating on going somewhere else for a while, and today I've had it. -There is often the smell of cigarette smoke that comes from somewhere even though nobody is smoking nearby. -There are post-it note signs everywhere, because nothing seems to work (out of order). -Even the restroom has no toilet paper (no, they didn't run out, there's literally no toilet paper roller) Lastly, today I looked through a dozen or more machines, for one that doesn't have a dirty detergent feeder. they were all GROSS. not dust or left over detergent, i'm talking GLOBS of what doesn't look like soap. Anyway, I finally found one that was usable. turned out, that machine ended up washing my cloths with no water, so i had to re-wash my cloths... this almost doubled my time when we all know we just want to go home... The cleanest laundry mat I've been too. It's card based and they take credit card. There are tables and free WiFi to do your work. During this stay at home measure, their hours right now are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. One time my load never drained and the girl that worked there helped me load it into another washer and it was taken care of. I really appreciate it. I had been coming here regularly, spacious, plenty of room to fold and such. Watch out for broken machines bc i lost laundry detergent that way. Well, maybe you don't have a mountain of dirty clothes in your room waiting to be cleaned, but if you don't have a lot of time to waste this place is great to get in and out in a snap! (well maybe not a snap, especially depending on the amount of clothes you have) It took me 2 hours to wash, dry and fold about 8 loads of clothes and it was cheap! This place has industrial sized washers and dryers that really get the job done. There are 2 load, 5 load, 7 load and even 9 load washing machines ( all prices vary). You have to purchase a laundry card, but each time you use your card to wash and dry you get points on your card that reward you with free money after you accumulate a number of points (I think 300). Who doesn't like free? Drying a couple loads of clothes cost $.35 for 8 minutes (insert your card again for an additional 8 minutes). I suggest when washing clothes, select the delicate cycle, the machines can be a bit aggressive and you don't want them ruined. I listen to music or read while waiting for my clothes to be done. Beware of kids!!! Lots of families use this facility and they do bring their kids with them, unfortunately haha. Some of them behave, most run amuck, but if you have headphones in, you sort of tune them out....gotta take the good with the bad. read more

This is the cleanest and safest laundry mat ever! They are never too packed, and there is parking in the front which is really convenient while loading and unloading :) The workers are always really nice and make sure to help if the machines ever give you problems (which has happened, but is rare.) the only thing that sucks is that you have to pay to use the restroom (I believe). There is a slot for your laundry card to open the door. The laundry cards they provide offer you free money when you reach a certain amount of points. (300) got mine today! Woohoo! Since I moved to Pasadena, CA I've been going here to do my laundry. I love that they have so many washers. Some washers can hold up to 7 loads! That's crazy. The dryers also come in different sizes. A 2 load only costs $2.25 and to dry for 12 minutes costs $0.40. Those are some great prices. And if you check in you get one load free! True to its word; just ask the sweet attendant walking around in an apron and she'll help you. The place could use routine maintenance. You will occasionally encounter some messy, loud people. This used to be a good establishment clean and reasonably priced. My niece was washing her clothes today and eas going back and forth to her car, on one trip back into the laundry, there was a young lady standing in the walkway blocking the entrance. In order to get in my niece had to move a trashcan out of the way so that she could get by. When she did that the young lady began to berate her using all kinds of racial slurs. She accused my niece of staring at her and then threatened to kick her ass and said that "you people" are always doing something. My niece asked her what are you talking about I'm trying to do my laundry, and the young lady replied why are you going in and out. My niece said it's none of your business I'm doing my laundry and then the girl threatened again to want to fight my niece. Apparently this young lady is the daughter of one of the people that maintain the laundromat. She came in and she joined her daughter in the racial slurs. My sister had to come down so that she could help her daughter my niece and this whole melee. It's unacceptable this establishment was shut down once before because of racial slurs and the miss treatment of African-Americans. First and foremost the young lady if she wasn't working there should not have been just there hanging out with her mom and if she is just hanging out she needs to be quiet and sit over in a corner and mind her business. As a tax paying citizens and an upstanding member of this community I find this offensive and it needs to be shut down an address immediately. I plan on sending several emails until I get a response from the owner and I may even take this to the paper because this is ridiculous. Don't go here because they're rude and racist. read more

Roaches and mouse droppings. My dryer went out had to use this place to finish one load, many roaches and mouse droppings in the parking lot and inside as well, I don't feel safe using their equipment as it's COVID-19 season and if they don't clean up after mouse droppings I hardly think they sanitize anything. I never had any issues with facility, service, etc until I had to have assistance from my husband as we are both disabled & can do much together that we can't alone. We were told by female attendant that only of us could be inside even after explained it takes us both so unless she was volontering then please let us finish our business. She said she would call the owner & I told her denying disability access is illegal so I too would be calling, after the BBB, Ch. 2,4,5&7, & City of Pasadena. She left us alone, no hassles since. The washers are tiny for the price and the machines don't say the length of wash nor let you choose the soil level of each wash. the dryer did not ! I've been coming here the last couple weeks while I wait on a washing machine repair at home. Have found this place clean and the machines in good working order. The reason I'm writing a review is because I accidentally left a load of laundry in a washing machine and didn't realize it until the next day when I was looking for my favorite pants. I immediately drove back and asked one of the staff members if they had any left laundry and after asking me for a description of what was in the load she took me over to a cart with my clothes that they'd kept behind their desk. Not only did they keep the clothes but they also hung up the pants so they wouldn't be all wrinkled as they dried. I so appreciate the thoughtfulness. So thank you! read more

I have been going to Fair Oaks Laundromat for the past 3yrs for several reasons. They are clean, friendly and affordable. Zaira (manager) is always available to assist customers with any concerns. She is pleasantly helpful when customers need assistance with loading their cards. She keeps this facility clean and opens on time in the mornings. This location takes drop offs for when you are busy to wash yourself. Since I am a regular customer and use my laundry card each visit I always win a free wash from all the points I earn. I have several locations close by but they don't meet expectations at all. Oh! And they have free wifi and air conditioning for those hot days! read more

They refused to reimburse me then they chastise me when I actually gave them the price of replacing my clothes in which they lost. This review is JUST for their FLUFF & FOLD Service. One phrase: Very Poor Customer Service. I drop my clothes for fluff and fold on Saturday around 3PM. They say it should be done in 24 hours. So you can come and pick up any time after 24 hours. So when I went there on Sunday around 6 PM, at time already 27 hours passed since I drop off. My clothes was not ready. The lady who works there told me my clothes in dryer and she need at least 30 mins to fold them. Unfortunately I live 25 minuets far from the location. So I can not go back and come again. What's the point to give your clothes for fluff and fold when you have to wait at location for 30 minuets. I could have done laundry by my own if I had time in first place. Also they don't tell you that it's ready or not. They don't notify you like other laundromat. The other laundromat which I was using before, they always notify me by text messages and they always keep it ready in 24 hours (even before that). Since they increased they price little bit, I came here. But now I know that where to go. I would spend little more bucks for good and perfect services. (The lady work there was nice to me but I guess the laundromat itself follows poor system yo run the business). Not worth it to save couple of bucks for visit.
