While everything was pretty self-explanatory, I just wanted to point out the amazing customer service. I wasn't there very long and I'm very impressed with the laundromat. The music selection is pretty amazing (it was early 2000s R&B music when I went), and I just really like the whole ambiance. Parking is a little tricky; it is in a small shopping center with other businesses so you can park on the street if there is no parking inside. I came on a weekday so there was plenty of parking for me.

It's nice that they have a large parking lot in front of the location so that you can kind of see whether or not they are busy. They have coin machines for change or you can purchase a laundry card. There is also a machine that has laundry soap softener etc. they also have specialized services available for diapers and large items such as comforters. This location is just as friendly as the location on Colorado Boulevard, near the intersection of Colorado and Allen Avenue. This location also has some nice boutique food establishments nearby. Not just the machines -- I mean everything. The walls, the tops and sides of the machines, inside the machines, even the detergent compartments were spotless. Nothing was dusty, no residue, no water left behind -- they clean the machines right after use. Even the trash cans, windows, and seating areas were spotless. That alone made such a difference. The space is also really cute and comfortable. The air conditioning felt amazing, and they offer Wi-Fi which is a huge plus if you're there for a bit. You have options to pay with quarters or through an app, which actually gives you credits when you sign up -- and I noticed it even accepts EBT, which is great accessibility. There's also a bathroom, vending machines for drinks, detergent available for purchase, a quarter machine, and even a pinball machine. They also offer a fluff and fold service, which is a huge convenience if you don't want to do everything yourself. Another bonus -- you can grab coffee and pastries at Bevel just around the corner while your laundry is going, which makes the whole experience even better. The owner was very kind and personally thanked me for my business, and the staff member working there was just as friendly. I did about 16 loads of laundry and was in and out -- fully done and folded -- in under 3.5 hours. It cost me around $50, which is about $20 more than doing it at home, but honestly, at home that would've taken me all day. The time saved alone made it completely worth it. Overall, one of the cleanest, most efficient, and most welcoming laundromats I've been to. I'll definitely be back.

Dryers are super expensive at $.75 for a mere 12 minutes. I spent about $3.75-$4.50 for each dryer, and spent around $25 just for drying-way more than I'm used to spending. There's NO air conditioning. I chose this laundry because of another review boasting the a/c. There are lots of fans, but when it's almost 100* outside the fans are blowing hot air. It was real sweaty in there. It seems to be a popular spot. When I arrived there was only one other person there, but very soon after I arrived a lot of people showed up and had to wait for the washers. No restroom and no attendant. But there is a market that shares the parking lot blasting air conditioning and has a restroom! They have vending machines with very expensive supplies.

Catching up on older reviews, it's clear others on Yelp! have mentioned this woman and there has been ZERO improvement. Business owners: please retrain her in customer service or transfer her to a back office somewhere where she won't interact with the public. We never want anyone to lose their jobs. This is a horrific economy and small businesses are crucial to the functioning of our great little town in South Pasadena. But, next time, if we see she is on duty, we'll back right on out and spend our money supporting another small business nearby who recognize customers deserve respect. Rude Staff and Horrible Customer Service…read more I've been coming here for years, but the service from two of the employees--both heavy-set Latina women--is completely unacceptable. Today, I asked a simple question about when the dryers would be fixed. One employee responded short, hostile, and full of attitude, insisting "there is nothing wrong with the dryers," even though it was obvious they weren't working, and added the gas was off. When I asked for an update, she shrugged me off and acted like I was bothering her. It was extremely uncomfortable because there were other customers there, and she made a big deal out of it. She even went to the other girl on staff and seemed to talk negatively about me behind my back, giggling like she didn't have to treat customers properly. When I tried to clarify I wasn't being confrontational, she repeated "there is nothing wrong with the dryers." When I pointed out that more dryers keep going out over time, she shockingly said, "Well, if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else!" On another occasion, I left pants in a dryer and tried calling during business hours. Nobody answered, and when I came in, one employee was on her personal phone and seemed to be looking at social media or TikTok, I called in to observe if she would answer the phone while I was onsite and it just seemed like she was ignoring it. When I confronted her to tell her that I was trying to call to ask someone to please put my expensive pants aside she seemed defensive and dismissive. I understand they may not be highly paid, but that doesn't excuse rude, disrespectful behavior toward paying customers. I can understand if I was hostile or rude but I just simply asked and there attitude was uncalled for on both occasions. I hope management or the owner sees this review--and it would be great if they provided a direct phone number or email so I know it's actually getting to them. Until this behavior is addressed, I cannot recommend this location.
