Usually, I really like the spot. They have a good quality service, but I just had a really bad experience with the old man that I was working there. He had a horrible attitude and tried to rush me out of the establishment when I was checking my clothes for pick up. He had an absolutely horrible attitude. It was horrible customer service he should be replaced. Seems like he's been there too long and doesn't like his job. I'm sorry to say that this isn't a good representation of the rest of the people that work there. When I asked his name, "he said that he doesn't have a name." I brought a dress to this cleaner to repair two rips: one along the hip and another near a ruffle. I was quoted $10 for the repair. Upon pickup, only the hip rip was corrected. When I pointed out the small rip behind the ruffle, they apologized and asked me to return the next day. On my third visit, they charged an additional $5 for that small rip. I was surprised by this 50% price increase, as they had two prior opportunities to inform me of the total cost. I had initially chosen this cleaner, despite a larger, busier one nearby, to give a new business a chance. I will not be returning. read more

For the 2nd time in less than a year, this cleaners has permanently damaged clothing that I brought into their store. The first was a blazer; when I got it back, it had a rip in it near the left wrist. They agreed to fix it, but that fix was poorly done. Stevie Wonder could've done a better job. Then, in 2nd week of December 2020, I got another order back from them. This time it's a black blouse (my favorite, see pic below) with 3 rips in it. I take care of my clothes, but Around Clock does not. I only went back after the blazer incident to try and support a local business, but I cannot do that as this cost. Can you give 0 stars? Very disappointed in this establishment. I came here because they were the only cleaner open for drop off on a Sunday and they would do next day availability. Ready for a long story? Sunday: Waited in the parking lot for ten minutes for the store to open (even though they're hours said they should have been open). Dropped off and revived a discount through Yelp (that was cool). The lady that took my items was courteous and said to come back Monday for pick up. Monday: parked in the first parking space, opened my door and WAHHHHMMM!!! There is some sort of rail in the parking space, which you would not be able to see when parking. Now I have a scratch/dent on my door. Walked I. Told the gentleman and he said it was some sort of pillar for the building roof, they placed it there for now. There was NO apology or collection of information whatsoever. Wow! I took my blazers and then took photos of the marks and item (will post) then I left in anger and disbelief. Tuesday: THE WORST! I put a blazer on and..... It wasn't even cleaned!!! Idk about you but when I'm running around outside in a full length (sleeve) blazer I sweat. The blazer smells of last weeks wear!! Come on!!! I thought thy may have ACCIDENTALLY forgot to wash this one because it wasn't in the bad try provided, this one was on the outside. So I let it go until TODAY. PRESENT DAY: I am getting ready for another big work week for of executive visits and client meetings and guess what I come across with the other TWO blazers? THEY TOO WERE NOT CLEANED! I am highly disappointed and I don't have time to get them cleaned before tomorrow at this point. I should have been able to trust the dry cleaners and not had to check them before leaving. Even if I did check them it probably wouldn't be wise to allow them to clean anything. I give it a star because I can't give it zero! I left my clothes and a big bag to put them inside when I went to press them. They told me to go on monday and when Iarrived they told me to go to afternoon. When I went in the afternoon my bag was not there and the clothes were many (9 pieces) so I politely asked the girl for a bag and she gave me a very small one, it was impossible to put them all. He gives me another equally small bag. I leave with 9 wrinkled clothes in two ridiculous bags. When I picked up the cleaning, the girl that helped me was NOT wearing a mask. I felt very uncomfortable. Also, the charge was $1 more for white shirts. I'm just stunned at how bad this place is. We fell for signing up for their discount card program so we were stuck with them for months (when they regularly "forgot" to apply the discount). Their work is the worst I've ever seen. Clothes regularly come back wrinkled. Shirts are hung with only a single button fastened so the front panels fall open and two deep wrinkles get folded into each side. And now a pair of pants that clearly wasn't actually cleaned or pressed, because the deep wrinkles in the front were left in the pants. I'm done! read more

I live close by and gave this place a chance a couple times. last time I went there was about 6 months ago.. I gave them a shirt with a few stains.. picked up the next day on a Sunday and the stains were ALL there. I told the guy apparently they just pressed the shirt and gave it back to me!! He said we're sorry we can give you credit since all machines are off on Sundays and we can't do anything at the moment. I was pissed but not much could be done since the machines were off and I needed the shirt that night. I didn't want to write a review at the time because I figured people make mistakes and it wouldn't be fair for me to write a negative review on someone's business based on ONE mistake.... So I went back there yesterday to give them another chance this time with my suit and pants. Told them the suit really needs to be pressed and was told to pick items up the next day. Stopped by today to pick up and the suit was NOT EVEN TOUCHED! The same wrinkles at the same exact spots with the shoulders all effed up!! Told the girl this is the second time they're doing this and that I need my suit for a wedding! She apologized and offered to give me store credit!! Store credit wouldn't do me any good this time around since I'll never be going back. Do what people pay you to do; Being lazy, taking shortcuts and returning items almost untouched is not how you do this business. I have had garments cleaned here many times and they always come out great! Very clean and fresh in their eco-friendly solvents. One word...AVOID!!! I wish I could give this place of business even less then 1 star!! I was trying to use a cleaners a little closer to my home and went in blind...I'll NEVER do that again! I should've known after my first visit when I received my cleaning and they had left their "notes" tag on my blazer explaining how they were to clean and press it and under those instructions they had the word "Picky". Photo posted! I've been called worse but since that was my FIRST time using this particular cleaners, I'd expect a little higher standard first impression. The second time I used this cleaners they LOST A SUIT I had dropped off and when contacted, not only did they deny losing it, they blamed us!!! Really?!? So we picked up over $400 in dry cleaning and you blame US for losing the suit!! Worse then them losing the suit, their defensive and confrontational response proved to me that, not only HAVE they lost items in the past but that they don't really care about the client. Hmmm....brought a bunch of stuff in here recently, because it was the closest place to my house....I think this will tell you all you need to know: (1) I brought in a skirt to be hemmed and they hemmed only HALF of the lining...leaving the other half a full inch longer (?!) (2) I asked them to hem and dry clean a pair of pants...they only hemmed them. (3) I asked them to hem a pair of jeans and leave the original hem on (move it up...its not that complicated). They hemmed them, giving them a New hem...and the line of sewing around the hem is uneven! Really? You can't match up One Line of stitching? I brought all these things in to be fixed, so lets see if they redeem themselves.... UPDATE! Do Not Go Here! So I call to see if I can get my things done by Wednesday night instead of Thursday morning. First they say NO, not even an attempt to assist me. Ok, first impressions shouldn't scare you away. Although the facility isn't air conditioned and there's not free coffee and stuff to nosh on, there's always a smile (Andrew's the friendliest), and brisk service. I regret that other people have been having such a hard time with this place. Every time I've gone, the service has been good. The prices are alright, and I like the discount card part. I've been to other cleaners, like Milt & Edie's in Burbank: People who think RTC is expensive should check out M&E's. I haven't had alterations done there, so I can't comment on that. read more

I am new to the area and I first started going to Magic Cleaners across the street since I found a coupon on Yelp. Today, I went there to get a zipper replaced and they said it would cost $18. Given that I will probably wear this $21.95 bustier top just once, I decided not to do it. So I walked across the street to Round the Clock to see what they would quote me. The lady in the front was extremely generous and charged me nothing for it!! She gave it to the seamstress and she was honest to say that it didn't need to be replaced, just needed a little oil or something. She spent no more than 3 minutes on it but she could have easily asked me to come back the next day to pick it up and I wouldn't know the differnce. It's little gestures like this that makes you want to go back and be a paying customer in return. So that's what I intend to do. read more

I mostly love this place because it is so convenient to my office. But I also like it because the people there are nice and they always recognize me. I have had things cleaned, hemmed, fixed here and I have never been disappointed. The prices seem a tad high to me, but I know that they are a "green" cleaner, or that is at least what the sign says... They are also VERY fast! I recently had one issue with the handling of my favorite piece of clothing.. i pretty much thought after reading some reviews that it would be a lost cause but this was not the case at all. They professionally addressed my concerns .. rewashed my garment and when i came to pick it up I was fully expecting the problem to still be there but it was completely fixed. Had another issue with a missing hook when i picked up and they immediately fixed. Again .. with a positive professional attitude. This is the only dry cleaner I trust with all of my dry cleaning needs. I am a designer and we do a lot of Slipcovers for sofa's that costs thousands of dollars. I trust this place because they do their own in house cleaning and I feel comfortable that the items will not be ruined. John is the owner and he is very gracious. Cons: my suit and pants weren't starched and ironed as stiff and nice as the cleaner across the street. It still looks clean but just weren't as neat as it could be. My pants has a small fold as a result. complimentary water is not always in stock. Conclusion: u get what u paid for. Staff r friendly. It is really unprofessional and frustrating to have someone come in unscheduled to your work place and be so insistent about banal things like how many times you dry clean a week. I recently went here to shorten sleeves a few dress shirts. The customer service was great when I dropped off. After I picked up shirts I tried on at home to find that the work was not completed at ALL on 3 of the shirts and the 4th shirt was done so unprofessionally that I am going to have to go to another place and hopefully it is not ruined. I got a refund on the tailoring but they would not refund the extra 15 I had paid for dry cleaning my other shirts despite wasting my time and potentially damaging an expensive irreplaceable shirt.
