Wanted to try Macrina bakery & Cafe since long. The vibes for the place is really nice with comfortable seating and a good music in background Service was not that great they didn't even warmed the food and there were no plates so I had to take on paper bags even though I was dine in.

I never really like any sandwiches from cafes. But that changed when I tried Macrina bakery in Kent. So I have a very high expectation from Macrina any location. However this place I didn't like very much unfortunately. I ordered a cup of americano, a cup of tomato soup and a croissant. Their croissant that was warmed was very soft and great buttery flavor. The soup was not strong more vegetables soup with some tomatoes to me. It came with a wheat bread and butter. The 12 oz americano was bland. The bakery was full of customers that we had to share the window seats with another person. Still it was a good environment that we were able to stay for a while.

This was not the place for me. I found no flavor in the cookie and my coffee had lots of grainy coffee bits. I may give it another chance in the future. They do have lots of pastry options and sitting area if you wanna meet up with from or for work.

What a nice treat for the neighborhood. We went there after a walk on a weekday afternoon and it was still a pleasant crowd with many options left in the bakery section. Their matcha was refreshing. Their walnut bread was yummy and fresh. The cafe is pretty big with spacious seating for the family to enjoy. There is a nice ramp inside for the mom's with strollers like I was. The staff was sweet and quick. Street parking.

Cute little neighborhood cafe that's walking distance to where I was staying. Love their selection of pastries and breads. Coffee is good and I love the interior decorations. This location seemed quite busy with "remote" workers or students so I'd say it would be a good place to bring your laptop and get some work done!

Ambiance and service always top notch. Food, sure it was good. Biscuit, sausage, and egg breakfast sandwich was good on the dry side, it could take it to the next level if they had added gravy on the side. Brioche bread, with ham and egg was good but an added arugula or avocado slices would be better.

I stopped by to pick up a baguette and a few bagels this morning. I've had great bread from Macrina before at other locations but perhaps bread is made differently at this one. I was most disappointed. Both the bread and bagels tasted stale and dry. As well, their crusts were thin and rubbery, not like you'd expect from artisan breads - more like day-old supermarket breads. I don't know whether they were baked fresh but they certainly didn't live up to what I expected. While the other offerings looked delicious, I would strongly advise against this location for breads.

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!

As soon as you walk in, you're immersed in a cute café filled with greenery and plants everywhere, which adds to the fun, cozy vibe. It does get pretty packed on the weekends. I went around 10 a.m. and it was pretty busy. Although, we didn't have to wait in a long line as the service is efficient. You order at the counter, and they have a good selection of pastries, sandwiches, and other brunch items. I ordered a vanilla latte, the raspberry cloud matcha, a quiche, and the croque monsieur. The coffee was perfectly creamy and smooth without being too sweet. The food was good, nothing that particularly stood out but I'd still come back. Next time I'd probably try the breakfast board since that seems to be a favorite. I ordered the Pork N' Bitch, which came with biscuits as the base, smothered in sausage gravy and topped with plenty of shredded cheese and bacon bits. The portion was huge and enough to feed two people. I only managed to eat half, and it kept me full for about eight hours. This is definitely a heavy and hearty meal. As for the taste, it was delicious and very savory. The biscuit was soft, and the bacon bits added a nice crispy texture. My only complaint is that I wish there had been more gravy. I also didn't really taste any sausage in the gravy. I was expecting more of a traditional Southern-style sausage gravy, but the flavor was a bit different from what I'm used to. This is more of a take out spot, as there isn't any indoor dining. Fortunately, it's located near the Pike's Marketplace, so I recommend taking your food for a walk toward the waterfront and finding a nice place to enjoy your meal. One funny thing was that I was expecting the person taking my order to greet me with, "Good morning, bitch! What can I get you?" Instead, he called me "sweetheart." LOL. Maybe he could tell I wasn't a local.
