Mi do bien kho (dry seafood egg noodle) 4/5
    Amy H.

Service 10/10 ! Very accommodating and made sure all our orders were correct and attentive. Friendly as well! Mi hoanh thanh 3.5/5 Fresh plentiful plump shrimps. Soup is light perfect for mixing sauces. Mi kho do bien 4/5 Some flavor definitely need the sauces. Lots of seafood such as octopus, squid, and shrimp in a sweet soy-sauce. Soup is on the side...tasted clean almost bland. Add the sauces!!! Bone marrow (xi quach) 2.5/5.. One bowl gave us 4 bones!! The soup was GREAT BUT the actual bone was dry and not flavorful/tender... Rating is based on the food. Loved the service. I think if you like clean/bland tasting food or easily complain about food being too salty then you will like this place.

We were here for lunch on a Sunday and surprised to find the place is empty so we're skeptical on the food. Turned out to be good. The server is very friendly and surely know how to upsale their products. Ambiance was cute. Price range is not cheap I have to admit but they are generous on their ingredients so it made up for the price which is about $15 and more on a noodle bowl

I am absolutely amazed with this place! The food was incredibly delicious and the service was extremely nice. When you walk in, you literally feel like you are walking into a small town in Vietnam. Never mind the traditional Vietnamese dresses that the servers wear, the whole place is so freaking cute. But the star of the show really is the food. So when I tell you that this is where you want to go, do it. I got the glass noodles with a pork belly and a pork belly snob, 10 out of 10. Also, as a Vietnamese girl that has been to Vietnam a few times, this is probably one of the most authentic I have ever tried.

Mì by Night is the most beautiful, authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Houston, TX. The restaurant's internal design is absolutely breathtaking and stunning. I have traveled throughout America and have dined at all kinds of Vietnamese restaurants in America, but Mì by Night is absolutely beautiful. They posted different state license plates at the main restaurant entrance. They used Hội An paper lamps for decoration, making the restaurant's scenery so charming and cozy. Their mì noodle soup is so tasty without using MSG or any artificial ingredients. Their mì broth is absolutely delicious. They use beef bones to make fresh broth. I also like their sugarcane juice. The restaurant is extremely clean, and the service exceeded my expectations. The staff is professional and friendly. Beautiful Vietnamese waitresses are wearing traditional Áo bà ba while serving the customers. The owner is very nice and always greets customers with a warm welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This small quaint restaurant definitely deserves more acknowledgment. server made many methodical honest recommendations. i tht the mi kho with the ca mam was weird but they allowed me to taste. i ended with that bowl. it's just seasoned small fish with a nice crispy bite and not the mam nem i was assuming (which i also love but just not with egg noodles). the chewy egg noodle texture with a bit of bounce was perfect. the organ meats also cooked perfectly and not dry at all. here's the other rly amazing thing, these folks are soooo darn attentive it's like they breathe hospitality. give this place a try, you won't be disappointed

The service is great. Foods are good.. They played soft music therefore you feel chill and relaxing. The price is decent. Large portion.

Came on a slow day before lunch and half the restaurant was already full. They seemed understaffed but were pushing out orders quickly. Tried the heo quay side order and it was delicious, crispy and fatty. I ordered the nui thap cam and the broth was flavorful. Not the best I've had but indeed the best in Houston. It's a very large serving, and honestly one person can share one bowl. The inside decor is nice and cute. Very nice staff and quick service.

After passing by this place many times, we finally decided to give it a try. The decor is beautiful and makes you feel like you're back in the motherland. We were served by an older gentleman who was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious; we ordered their specialty dry clear chewy and egg noodles, and the soup was very tasty. We'll definitely be

Was looking for some noodle soup after 10pm and yelped into this place . It was old Pho Bingh By Night location. The combination pho, seafood egg noodle soup and special dry egg noodle are all very good. Service was great too . We will definitely return .

The got nice wall art too, depicting the popular dishes from the north so I had my expectation and hopes up. Service is ordinary, she speaks little English but can get by ordering, we order first at the counter the sit anywhere. Braised egg is 2 for $3.50, salty but expected since it's marinated. Came out steaming hot, and yolk was not overly cooked and dry, not bad. Starting with the Chinese hamburger I felt sad and know not to expect too much from the other dishes we ordered. First the meat look different than what others have posted before, and it was kinda dry and too salty to eat. There was no other spice, only the meat juice flavor. The bun they use was stale to eat. Traditional way of making this should be the flaky oily pancake, or at least make the buns softer to eat. The mutton stew was clear and very heartwarming to drink on a cold day. But the portion is super small for the price. The glass noodles were gone in literally two bites. I had none to share with my boyfriend. This dish come with the burger bun too that you can soak them in the soup so I guess this is the extra carb make up for the less noodles. Oil splash noodle is their specialty? It was good but didn't wowed me. Noodles are chewy and well cooked, came with lots of bean sprouts. The sauce is flavorful and actually not too oily which I enjoyed more. You can add the beef for an extra charge, it's the regular braised beef, was just ok. I find it funny that their all food arts on the wall look nothing like the actual way they serve it.

On my most recent visit we ordered mapo tofu with pork intestines off the specials menu - a hybrid of two of my favorite Sichuan-style dishes. The blend of bouncy, savory morsels amidst tender, saucy tofu was at once revolutionary and so obvious; why hadn't I yet seen this at any other restaurant? And sure, innards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's important for you to know that none of my past orders from the 50+ item menu have ever failed me, whether enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Maybe you'd prefer the aromatic, classic, perfectly balanced three-cup chicken? Or the sweet-skinned duck, glazed so delicately that specks of sugar crystal threaten to jump off onto the plate as you pick up a juicy slice with your chopsticks? And if you're vegetarian, might you consider the punchy garlic eggplant or the wok-kissed string beans? I could go on. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself, though I'd recommend parallel parking on the neighborhood streets behind the restaurant rather than the rocky parking lot, to save you some trouble. Bring friends and chow down family style - you'll need help covering as much of the menu as you can, but you'll definitely have to come back to try everything.

On the table was a holder with chopsticks, soup spoons and napkins. It was a chilly, blustery day - I so enjoyed the Henan-style lamb with noodles soup! Three kinds of noodles: wide, hand-pulled with a nice chew; thin, textured tofu; crystal. Happy with the two quail eggs. There was a nice amount of wood ear fungus, kelp? and fresh cilantro. The lamb was tender and the broth flavorful. I saved half of the soup for dinner and chowed down on the pork bun. It was hot and toasty from the bun being grilled. She immediately asked what we wanted in a rude tone, which set an uncomfortable atmosphere from the start. There was a sign on the table advertising a "free appetizer" if you take a photo and tag the restaurant on social media. I followed the instructions exactly as stated, but when I mentioned it, the server initially refused to honor the promotion. After I pointed out the sign, she appeared upset and walked away. I saw she went to speak to another employee and cracked a smiled and looked over. She later returned and offered a small discount instead. The issue wasn't about the money or the discount, it was the principle. The promotion was clearly advertised, and I simply followed the restaurant's own policy. It was disappointing to feel like the restaurant was reluctant to honor something they were actively promoting. I hope management addresses this because customer service and consistency with advertised promotions make a big difference in the overall dining experience.
