My boyfriend and I just moved to Oceanside and we're trying to find a new pedicure place! After reading reviews we came to luxe! We called at 1230 and we're able to get 2 appointments at 1pm and one with Tina! It was my boyfriends first time so he got Tina and she was BEYOND amazing! She asked me which pedicures we wanted and I asked for the best one for the both of us. She was extremely friendly and explained what she was doing to my boyfriend. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the person I had... I got benyo I wish I had the experience my boyfriend did, he didn't ask which pedicure I wanted so I assumed Tina told him. He ended up doing a basic pedicure which is not what I wanted and then put on gel polish without asking if I wanted gel or regular polish so I told him no gel I wanted regular. I felt the pedicure was very rushed from him and couldn't really relax which is what I was really looking forward to. I will be coming back to try it again but will not be returning to benyo. Overall this place was great! Very clean and friendly staff, it wasn't super busy for a Saturday either! I would recommend this place! read more

I thought I'd try a new nail salon, but this was probably one of the worst acrylic sets I've ever had. I showed the nail tech a picture of the set of nails with the exact shape and design I wanted and he said he could do it. When he started to get to work on the acrylic his work was super sloppy and he kept getting it on my skin around the nail and the shaping of the nails were super bulky and not the almond shape I showed him. Then we get to the heart design I wanted for valentines and he couldn't do it, he had to have another tech come in and finish it for him. Overall it was such a poor experience from start to finish and not only did I pay a lot to get such a bad set, but no less than 5 days after all my nails have lifted and fallen off. read more
