Not sure why this was the first list that pops up on Yelp for breakfast... We tried... Not open! Down the street to McAdoo's. Looks like McAdoos will be perfect! Can't really give these stars but looks like I can't post unless I give stars..... read more

Very disappointed Salad is just cut lettuce and brown at the edges to boot. Eggplant lasagna 3 layers with second being two slices of eggplant and it was cool/ wondering how they heated it up: not in the oven I'm guessing Will not recommend or be back And they want a 15% and higher tip.. outrageous read more

Enjoyed the Caprese salad last evening. An interesting touch was the addition of avocado. I also had the crab cakes paired the Conundrum white blend. The cakes were rich and wonderful. The service was very attentive. I will return. F read more

Unbelievable! This was my FAVORITE restaurant in Elko...hence the on point previous review. However, came for a reserved 12 person birthday party and it was ... unbelievable. Understanding that covid has restrictions on sitting more than 6 to a table, we asked that we used the empty room, that could also seat 2 tables of 6 so we weren't loud and disruptive to other guest. The waitress was incredibly rude and it, unfortunately, was not the first time I've witnessed her have a tantrum while dining there. She preceded to back and caused a huge issue that could have easily been prevented. Owner came out and was definitely not in deescalate mode. He did not want to hear a single word from myself nor anyone else at the table, repeating the covid restrictions which I am very well informed of and understanding of. I get it,, people have bad days, especially during these trying times but as a small business owner it might be wise to set an example to your staff regarding POSITIVE customer service not condone bad business. read more

Just passing through Elko and came across this restaurant. Victoria is probably the hardest working bartender in town. Good cocktails and the food is very nice. I had the salmon salad. Nicely done salmon (just a bit of crunch but not over or undercooked.). Good mix of ingredients including candies walnuts and generous avocado slices. Tasty dressing on the side. The calamari is also just right. I finished with the dark chocolate mousse. Wow. A chocolate explosion with a secret dark chocolate heart. Yum. It's large so some is coming home with me. They are also very accommodating. My bar mate wanted the creme brûlée but with chocolate on top. No problem! It was delicious and came with a drizzle of chocolate on top. If I pass through Elko again, I will stop here. read more

Ended up eating here twice over Cowboy Poetry. Excellent food, good service, great prices. The first time we waited about five minutes at the bar and had a glass of Zin and a Picon. Super friendly young hostess sat us. Bread and water arrive quickly, friendly server. Asked for a wine list, ordered Sausage and Prosciutto Spicy Arrabiatta over Farfalle ($14) and Parsley-Garlic Crusted Rack of lamb over a risotto and greens ($20). Added two Field Greens salads ($3). The salads were good, but they were basically romaine and not the "Fresh Mixed Baby Greens" as described. I prefer romaine so I was fine. Pasta was spicy and generous, and there were two four-bone racks for the lamb - we'd have been OK with one rack for the price. Meat was good and moist, risotto also good. Next time we had to wait a bit longer. Again we asked for a wine list and ordered the Jumbo Beef Ravioli ($14) and a special, beef tips with spinach over garlic mashed potatoes ($17?). Started with a salad and an order of mini-meatballs ($6) to grade the marinara. Tomato flavor was good, not sweet, and the meatballs were good too. Both entrees were good. Generous meat in the raviolis and the sauce, beef tips were moist and flavorful. Server not quite a good as prior server but more than capable. The people are good, the pacing of the meal is good, and the food is very good and really reasonable. Knocking off a star because we had to ask for a wine list each night, no veal dishes, and they don't have a beef carpaccio appetizer. read more

Came on a Saturday night ~7:15 PM and the place was packed, so we were glad that we made a reservation. We still had to wait... Ordered the calamari and 1885 rib-eye with Gorgonzola sauce and french-fries. Calamari was nicely breaded and tender, but the marinara sauce was a bit of a let down/ The steak was super thin and not great quality - more like something you'd expect from Applebee's for $12.99 than for $28 at a decent restaurant. That said, the service was top notch! We left at 8:30 PM, and the bar area was empty. The feeling of the "streets rolling up at 9:00 PM" was starting to set in, so we headed back to the hotel read more

The Crispy Chicken Cobb salad was fresh and full of tender fried chicken strips. The Balsamic dressing was very good. The owners are great people. They kept the restaurant open for us for a late lunch. We were traveling on I 80 west. This was our second trip and will come again. read more

We found the food quite good. My partner ordered the lamb chop and was treated with a generous portion of what looked like three chops. He cannot eat mashed potatoes so was nicely accommodated with angel hair pasta with extra mushroom sauce. I had the spinach ricotta ravioli with marinara and loved the lightness of it, however the sauce was likely canned tomatoes. The dinner Caesar is also very well done. We were pleased to have chosen Luciano's for our single night in Elko. read more

Luciano's - Lamb chop with asparagus. - Italian Near Me - Elko, Nevada

Pleasant surprise! Took a few minutes to seat us and a little slow to take orders, but everything else was excellent! Comfortable family-friendly ambiance, cheerful staff, and excellent tasting food. We had garlic shrimp appetizer, ribeye steak, eggplant parmigiana, and lobster ravioli. Delicious and well-worth it! My husband was intrigued by the bordello down the street. We did not stop. read more

I Yelped Elko's finest restaurants and found Luciano to be #1. After a 5 hour trip, we were so ready for a fine cooked meal. However, when we got to Luciano we were denied service because there was a big reception that night. Moral of the story, call! read more

First time in Elko and decided to have lunch here! Amazing lobster ravioli! Our waitress was a dream and took great care. Amazing experience read more

I was quite disappointed with the food! I had the Alfredo With no chicken which they charged the full price Of the dinner. The Alfredo tasted like paste. I asked for extra garlic and there hardly any garlic. My husband had the lasagna and said it was good! The bartender was friendly! However I will not be back! read more

This restaurant is a real little gem to find in the middle of the Nevada desert. I had the caprese salad and special flatbread and both were very tasty. The sparkling brut was a bit disappointing as it was a tad sweet. The service was really good though they seemed understaffed. Portions are large! read more

I am an Italian food snob, having spent 40 years in San Francisco and eaten my way through North Beach many times. Wasn't expecting too much in Elko, NV. Luciano's was delightful. Very good bruschetta and mushroom ravioli & chocolate mousse, good service, would definitely recommend. read more

Love, love, love this place! Excellent food. Excellent customer service. Wonderful atmosphere. The owners, Luc and Erin Gerber go out of their way to make sure everything's great. From cooking to serving, they always strive to add their personal touch. I love that Luc not only prepares many of the spectacular dishes, but he, quite often, also serves the dishes to his guests. Erin always makes one feel like they've come home. I've tried several of the items on the menu, as well as several specials, and I can say I've never been disappointed. Whether you're looking for a great place for a romantic dinner for two or having dinner with friends, Luciano's never disappoints! read more

This place was recommended by owner of Esquire motel. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the lobster ravioli was, after all it's no where near an ocean!! The place was quite busy, even so the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Our server Scarlet was wonderful. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs with gluten free pasta. The chef informed me the meatballs had gluten and offered to make sausage and pancetta in place of the meatballs. My husband took one bite of my dish and loved it as much as I did. Scarlet even toasted some gluten-free bread for me. This was one of the first times I didn't feel out of place eating out. Thank you Chef and Scarlet for an amazing and memorable evening!! read more

Spent a few days in Elko, and did my research on the restaurants to try. This was on the top five list, and I would agree! Had the open-faced mushroom and avocado sandwich with fries. Service was lovely, food was delicious. read more

We went there for our 20yr anniversary...first time & last to go there. Price-high, atmosphere- cramped & dirty, service- bad. I noticed first thing that my arms stuck to the table. Not just a spot or two; the whole top was sticky. The steak had a little flavor but the potatoes were very good. The drinks were not refilled for 20 minutes after being emptied- the waitress did not check on us for 20 minutes plus It was not busy. The waitress did not offer butter with the bread; the other table was offered. It took 15 minutes to get the check. Go to Coffee Mug instead...much better! read more

Driving through Elko we saw a restaurant that appeared busy. Without checking Yelp reviews, we decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did! We enjoyed our dinners very much. I had an appetizer as an entree with a house salad. The Shrimp Pizzaiola was Delicious! My husband had the Linguini del Mare and even though it was a large portion, he ate every single bite. Along with our dinners we enjoyed the house Cabernet and an 805. The food was good, but the service was excellent. Our server, Shawna, was obviously busy and working hard. Even though the restaurant was busy, Shawna still answered all of our questions with a lot of patience and cheerfulness and made sure we had everything we needed. Her excellent service and friendly attitude made us enjoy our experience at Luciano's all the more. The one down side was that it was very loud in the main room and sometimes difficult to have a conversation. The next time we visit (and we will!) we will try to be seated in the smaller room or at one of the tables in front of the bar. read more

What an amazing place. I have a gluten allergy and the options they had for me were beyond my expectations. The zoodle (zucchini noodles) dish I had with shrimp and sausage was fantastic and they even had gluten free bread AND dessert. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about what I could order and how items could be modified for my allergy. I will definitely back next time I'm in town. In fact, now I can't wait to come back to Elko!! Thanks, Luciano's! read more

The first truly 5 star meal I've had in quite a while, and I was surprised to find it in Elko, a small town in which I haven't had the best culinary experiences so far. The bread that came with the meal was warm, fresh out of the oven, and delicious. My date and I ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were rich and delicious as well. My date ordered the surf and turf and he was very happy with his meal. I had a bite of his steak and it was perfectly cooked and clearly a high quality piece of meat. I ordered the linguine del mare and my only (minor) complaint was that a single half-scallop on the plate was a bit rubbery and grainy. The rest of the plate was delicious with well-cooked seafood and a delicious sauce. We also ordered the molten chocolate cake for dessert and all I can say is wow! It was one of the best desserts I've eaten in quite a long time: truly hot from the oven, rich, and satisfying. I also have to give credit to our server Maddie (hopefully I'm spelling that right) who was beyond excellent all night and extremely attentive. The ambience was great and my only complaint about the layout of the restaurant is a rather odd observation that the women's bathroom stall door was too short for comfort. Absolutely excellent experience. I will definitely be back before I leave Elko. read more

Great food! I am not a fan of Italian food, but Luciano's is wonderful. They have delicious baby clams, an amazing duck, and a creme brulee cheesecake that will knock your sweet tooth's socks off. I have eaten Italian from Los Angeles to New York, and this place can contend with any of them. Service is always amazing too. You can go casual or dress up for a celebration, all are welcome here. If you're in the area, make the trip over to this little Italian eatery. read more

My husband and I were driving through Elko and stumbled upon Luciano's. I'm so glad we did! Such a hidden gem and some of the best Italian food we've ever had. We ordered calamari, chicken Alfredo, and the veal sandwich, and the lemon shortcake for dessert. Everything was divine. Pricing was fair, quaint atmosphere, and excellent service. We may come back to Elko at some point just to eat here again. read more

Woweewow. What a great meal. Service was well enough, the waterboy was more attentive than the waitress-who seemed new to service, but suggested a great wine for the lamb chops. Coconut Margarita was well balanced, but oversalted. Herbed clams were chewy, but delicious thanks to the sauce. Lamb chops and polenta cakes were stellar. Chocolate lava cake was good, nice bitter chocolate, needed creme fraiche not just whipped cream for balance. They need to remove the parchment from the tables immediately. It's not a kids restaurant, not for the price per plate they're asking, spring for laundry service and expose the tablecloths. read more

We stopped in on our way through town. Luciano's was the perfect choice. The food was fresh and tasty. The turn around by the service staff was fantastic, and everyone was really friendly. Our dinners fell into the standard Italian fare category: stuffed shells, and mushroom ravioli. Both were well prepared, had great flavor, and were exactly what we were hoping for. read more

Who would have guessed that we'd find a delicious Italian meal all the way out here in Elko! But, we did. And if it wasn't 4+ hours from home, we'd probably be regulars! We're on the last night of a 6+ week road trip, and rather than drive the last four hours and get home at midnight, we decided to stay on the road one more night - in Elko- and are glad we did! We shared the crab cake appetizer, which my husband said is the best he's ever had, anywhere! We then shared the Linguine del Mare - a split plate was more than enough for us, and the flavors were perfect. I wish I had room for dessert as they had some delicious looking options - but maybe next time. read more

This place was "ok" . Upon walking in making eye contact with the bar tender , I had to practically help myself to a menu because standing there at 5'9 almost isn't enough for a simple greeting ... maybe it's being from CA where were greeted upon entering a establishment (regardless of where your about to sit). The food was ok again, not some "amazing " Italian authentic place as their kids pizza was a basic Flat bread with a can of Tomato sauce and white cheese thrown on , not even given a nice spread lol my kids were like wth is this LOL (so don't Order a kids pizza ) It's a nice try for Small town but I wouldn't say this place was Amazing as the reviews suggested . Maybe for a drink and appetizers and a clean bathroom if your passing thru town . Definitely not a place I'd return to because they seemed to know who the regular customers were. Which makes me giggle as this place is nothing compared to any high end places in Sac or the (SF ) Bay Area. But who am I ... read more

The peppered duck is fantastic! The food was well prepared and the other items that came with it, diced potatoes and broccoli, compliments the duck perfectly. Absolutely fabulous authentic Italian food. Great staff and good prices. Good well priced wine list. A must stop in Elko.

Luciano's was magnificent! Friendly and welcoming: and our dinner caprese salad was delicious. Herbs in the greens, with the mozzarella, tomatoes and perfectly ripe avocado, and the drizzle of balsamic came together into a wonderful dish. So much so, on our way back during our road trip, we stopped in again -- and it was just as excellent! I'd give it six stars if I could! read more

Very nice restaurant. Service was very good, friendly and efficient. Good food. Fair price.

Bloody loved it. Warm sourdough bread. EVOO & Balsamic @ table. Most hospitable staff, greeted us like old friends. Now onto the 'grinds'....a very good Caesar Salad, crispy with quality Parmesan. And we split the Wild Mushroom Ravioli w cream sauce, my word was it terrific, al dente, and homemade pasta, wow. And rich. 3 glasses of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc, $5 each!!! All in w 20% gratuity $40. Evidently the lobster Ravioli is also excellent, be advised yelpers. read more
