Visited for the first time this weekend and no joke the shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had! Their iced lattes are wonderful too, I really enjoyed my s'mores latte that was topped with a marshmallow cold foam. The place is a cozy shop rooted in uptown, it's always a pleasure supporting small businesses. There is tons of out door seating outside too! The service was great, and my to-go order took no time to come out! I will absolutely be back on my next Nola trip!

Found this cute spot nestled away in the heart of Uptown when I was looking for a quick lunch sandwich. I love that they have pressed, warm sandwich options and I went for the pesto turkey (no Gouda). The ingredients were fresh with a robust flavor profile..I only wish there were something acidic in there to balance out the super savory bacon (maybe something pickled or a dipping sauce). It would've been WAY too overpowering if I had gotten the gouda. Both inside and outside have ample seating..it would be a great spot to sit out on a nice day. I have to give 4 stars and not 5 because the spot is much too expensive for the quantity of food provided. I can appreciate that they use great ingredients, but over $17 for a small sandwich just isn't doable in 2025, lol. And, the housemade chips were cold and sort of stale..they had no crunch to them (they just bent in half). I may visit again for a one-off experience but unfortunately, Luca will not be in my regular lunch rotation.

Cute, casual, eclectic place! Loved the vibe. The food was delicious. It's a great place for breakfast, coffee, sandwiches, and salads. Their homemade rosemary chips are delicious as well! Can't wait to go back.

Luca Eats is a great neighborhood eatery. It's small so plan to eat outside but the food is easy and simple and the staff is very friendly.

I found this place thanks to a construction detour that brought me through blocks I wasn't familiar with. I was intrigued when I passed this little gem and promised myself I'd swing by at lunchtime to give it a try. I placed an order by phone for a steak sandwich for myself and a Cubano for my honey. Both were EXCELLENT! Everything about these pressed sandwiches was perfect! I will definitely be back, and soon. They serve tons of different coffees, and there was one made with Nutella that I'm planning to try next week. My only negative feedback is that the space is small and indoor seating is very limited. This seems fine on a nice day because there is some seating outside, but if the weather isn't cooperating you'll want to take your order to go.I won't remove a star from my rating, because quite honestly, I found this space charming. In conclusion, I loved my sandwich and the service was excellent.

The place nice, food is quick, I ordered a bowl of gumbo it was mostly juice, there was one piece of sausage and less than a spoon of rice not much flavor. I also tried the turkey avocado pesto not much to it- the bread was good and so were the chips Too pricey.

Luca Eats is a New Orleans coffee shop and café located in New Orleans near Tulane University and across from St. Mary's Cemetery at 7329 Cohn Street which is about 18 minutes and 5 miles away from the New Orleans French Quarter. This looks like a very cool place from the exterior and most of the seating is outside while the inside is a very small space with limited seating. Luca Eats was established back in 2016 and has become noted for their breakfast and lunch options where they serve locally roasted premium coffee and homemade hand-pressed sandwiches. It is on the more expensive side and I don't really find their sandwiches very filling. Overall I would personally prefer a poboy somewhere else. My video review of LUCA Eats is here: https://youtu.be/5SAhYsJPmIA

Perfect spot to catch a light and healthy breakfast or a bit of grease. Good coffee and OJ.

Chicken panini with a watermelon lemonade.

Everything about this place is a 5 star. Food, service, and ambience is top tier. Prices were a bit higher than expected, but overall still great food.

Just had the best time ever at Luca Eats. Amazing people, delicious food, 11/10!!! Decided to walk here because it's such a beautiful day, ordered a waffle and two drinks, sat outside to enjoy the great weather. About 10 minutes after ordering, they came out to tell us our order had gotten stuck in the computer (we weren't even wondering where anything was). 2 minutes later, our drinks come out with a complimentary piece of THE BEST banana bread ive ever tasted. Followed by our delicious waffle and great conversations with the lovely owners and staff!

My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.

This bread, crackling crust and airy, sour-sweet, Is more than sustenance; it is a prayer For all who gather, breaking bread to greet The morning light, and taste the love baked there; A grace that rises softly through the air. We arrived sans reservation, but were whisked straight into the courtyard -- arguably the best seat in the house on a pleasant Louisiana evening. Between the soft night air and the glow of the courtyard, the atmosphere alone deserved applause. The cocktails arrived first and immediately set a dangerously high standard: beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, and the kind of drinks that make you consider canceling your plans afterward. Fortunately, the food rose to the occasion. The edamame and roasted Brussels sprouts disappeared with alarming speed, and the Amelie Salad was a standout -- generously portioned, fresh, vibrant, and substantial enough to be an entrée or ideal for sharing if you're pretending to be civilized. A special nod to Liz, who elevated the entire experience with spot-on recommendations, warm hospitality, and the rare ability to be both attentive and effortlessly relaxed. In a city famous for memorable dining, this meal still managed to feel special -- equal parts elegant, welcoming, and unmistakably New Orleans.

The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. Our server and helpers were over quickly to drop off waters and greet us. I ended up ordered the salmon. With it being so early and only one or 2 other tables besides my friend and me, the food did take longer to come out than I expected it to. Both of us did thoroughly enjoy what we got. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing. We got there around 5:30p and had to leave by 7:15p so an almost 2 hours experience that probably could have been 1 hour.
