    VooDoo Brew - yummy!
    Angie D.

Went Sunday morning with another couple and enjoyed it. It's a small space, very casual with a few tables outside. We sat outside and were served promptly. I had the voodoo coffee with chocolate milk, to gulp it all down quickly because it was delicious! I had eggs, bacon, hash and biscuit. Eggs were perfectly scrambled and the bacon was sooo good. We are happy to have discovered a new breakfast place.

I really enjoyed my visit to Wakin' Bakin! I've been eyeing this place for a while and finally got my chance to swing by. There are a lot of great brunch places in New Orleans, but their hours are usually from morning to early afternoon so you have to plan to come here earlier in your day. It being a Saturday I fully expected to have to wait to get seated but I was fortunate and was able to get seated right away. I even got a larger table because the tables for smaller groups were already occupied. This gave me lots of space to spread out. I got a cup of coffee (HEY Coffee Co. brand) which had unlimited refills (my favorite kind!) and a breakfast burrito. I originally asked to have the bacon put on the side but the server was so wonderful and offered me options! I ended up getting Tofu in my burrito! It was very yummy! The service was great! The team there were very attentive, kept my coffee full (even filled my to go cup!), and accommodated my dietary requests. The ambience was nice- it's limited seating inside but they do have sitting space outside too. Drinks: Lots of breakfast drink options! Service: Very good and attentive! Outdoor Seating: Yes! Parking: Street Parking Pets: Definitely allowed outside.

Wakin Bakin is one of my favorite breakfast spots. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. A perfect place to start the day.

A quaint restaurant to stop and get breakfast. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and it was packed both inside and out. The food came out relatively quick and the service was great. You truly felt the hospitality. As for the food it wasn't anything extraordinary but your standard breakfast. The hash browns were interesting as I've never seen it like that. I heard the cheesy grits were phenomenal.

This was the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time! I've heard so many rave reviews about this place, I was thinking it would be packed on a Saturday morning. I think we beat the rush. We were seated immediately and waited on by the nicest staff ever. They were super attentive. I will definitely be back, even if it's just for a to go order. I got the Sourdough King and my mom got the breakfast burrito. Both were very good.

Amazing place to eat. Fresh fruit and amazing breakfast dishes. This is a tucked away treasure. Atmosphere is enjoyable, sunny and bright. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Nice friendly atmosphere. The waiter ( I didn't get his name)was very sweet and gave great customer service.

Breakfast of the champions. Hash browns are the best I've ever had. Very small intimate place, but service was absolutely great!!! Highly recommend.

I had the tofu scramble, it was delish! Service was very slow and not worth mentioning. The fresh OJ was delicious as well. The grits were pretty good. Biscuit was good but wish they had a non sausage version of the gravy. Pancakes/eggs were just ok. Coffee/chocolate milk combo drink was a NO.

Small place, AMAZING breakfast! Love the Cajun smashed hash and the options for "The Usual" breakfast.

The staff kept things moving and were attentive throughout our meal. Taste: The menu is concise, which I liked, and there's truly something for everyone. I ordered the BBQ shrimp and grits, and it was hands down the best I've ever had. It was savory, flavorful, and very filling. My friend had the grits and egg bowl, which was also really good. The fresh juices were delicious and paired perfectly with brunch. Ambiance: The café has a lively brunch vibe and feels like a staple spot. It's casual, welcoming, and perfect for catching up with friends while enjoying a great meal. Overall Review: Two Chicks Café is affordable and absolutely worth the visit. We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and drinks at Luzianne. Minor things noted, mainly on the cook of the eggs, but nothing awful. It his the spot and checked the boxes!
