One of the cafes on my list to try. Small, cozy neighborhood cafe with a unique old bar still in there. The staff were all friendly. We got there at noon so we missed the breakfast. I really wanted to try the biscuit with sausage gravy but will have to go back. We went with the Club Sandwich and debris fries. The debris fries were some of the best I've ever had. So cheesy with real roast beef debris and gravy. The one thing I'd change was taking off the parsley on top. The club sandwich was crispy and tasted perfectly. If you're in the neighborhood, it's a nice place to stop in. read more

This is a little spot that you would never know is there. It is located in the middle of a strip mall. It only has a few tables. We were welcomed immediately. We ordered the eggplant appetizer because they were out of gumbo. I am kind of glad they were out because I loved the eggplant. The marinara was also very good, The chicken Parmesan and shrimp remoulade wrap were delicious. I loved the fries! Everything was hot and made to order. The waitress was super sweet and the kitchen was a one man operation. We will definitely come back. read more

Service was horrible. Only one girl and I guess what you would call an assistant working the floor. Waited for food for an hour. Asked for an update on our food and they said four tabled were ahead of us. There wasn't even one table that had been there before us so she lied right to our face. This place is very hole in the wall breakfast cafe but it's so good and perfect! I love it! Delicious and cheap breakfast. Nothing fancy but sometimes you don't need all that! Typically not the type to point out bad service but I've never left a place feeling so dissatisfied about the service. Took 15-20 minutes to even put in our food order. Then we waited 30+ minutes for our food, an omelet and the big breakfast. After getting our food we were still waiting on the pancakes to be served that came with the big breakfast, we already finished our plates and just asked for them to be packed to go. Well one of the pancakes is burnt, the other was relatively undercooked. While the servers create a welcoming environment, I do not feel a desire to return in fear of feeling ignored again. read more

We opted to check out a new place for breakfast. I think we needed to stop going to the chain restaurants and start checking out more Mom & Pop style places. I found this place , simply because it was near the top of my search list. It said it was "Hot and New". Our experiences of late, with small diners havent been too spectacular. The cafe is located within a small strip plaza. Which means shared parking. But still, it was easy to get to. The exterior is like most strip plaza businesses. Not much flash, just the basic "here we are"!. Our greeting was super friendly and the interior was simple but pleasant. We picked our table and our server (the only server) was there in a flash. Coffee and water. That's our breakfast normal. My lady ordered a meat omelet. I got chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs. Her omelet looked very good and wasn't saturated with butter and nary a burned spot on it. All omelets can take a lesson from the omelet here. My chicken fried steak was good, your run of the mill. Me, I say when you had 3 you've had me all. The hashbrowns were your frozen shredded kind. I think they should be outlawed or sold as hay. I didn't care for them. What ever happened to fresh home fries or roasted potatoes. Overall, this place is good, I didn't really see any reason to consider this a 1 time visit. Did I mention they boast "home of the 12.00 ribeye , every day?". May have to check that out. They did seem popular with the older crowd. We will return read more

Not a bad mom and pop hole in the wall joint. Of was standard breakfast. My biggest issue was where my table was you could see the kitchen and the grill/stove. I am not sure when the last time the side was cleaned or scrubbed but the grease and funk build up was absolutely disgusting. It was what turned me off for the place. They were very kind and friendly, but the cleanliness of the kitchen was not up to restaurant standards. I would give a higher review if it were cleaner in the kitchen. read more

It appears to be a former 'dive' bar. This local breakfast spot is okay. Food, okay. Atmosphere, okay. Service okay. The restaurant caters to the local senior crowd/community. So you'll find very basic breakfast options. Nothing that will WOW you. I can't say there was enough of anything to bring me back. The food quality was below my standard. That's not to say it was cooked poorly. Think Denny's food quality. It's hard to complain too much when my breakfast was only $13 including 20% gratuity. My family and I needed breakfast before traveling back to texas this morning. We had just made it in right before the breakfast ended at 10:30. The price of the food was great and the server was nice -1 star from 5 stars because the food was fine but not great -1 star because it took about an hour for us to receive all of our food. -1 star because the server seemed to be as social with the customers as our tables service. The server took the order of the people that sat down after us. They received their food within 10 minutes of ordering but had to walk to the waitress to get their check. My table ordered right when we sat down and didn't get part of our food till 40 minutes later. By the time all the food came, it had been over an hour. I noticed that the kitchen changed cooks about 30 mins after we ordered but we never got any indication from the server. I think the community feel of this place is the reason many seniors go but I would not recommend this place for anybody needing food in a timely manner. read more

I tried this place for the first time yesterday. I had an omelette with home fries and a coffee. The restaurant is a quaint size and it was a bit crowded so I sat at the bar. The staff - all of them - were very nice and attentive to me. During a bush rush that's a sign of great customer service. The coffee is very good.
