We met there for a business call and had coffee and some light breakfast items. Oatmeal, Eggs and hash Browns and their croissant beignets! I enjoyed my coffee and relaxed while waiting for my guests. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We placed our orders and were served fairly quick. Definitely a neat diner with a history!

Great experience as always, if you have any issues just call or speak up. They will resolve.

The beignets were great very airy, not too sweet make sure to eat them fresh. The omelette was create your own but good ingredients overall. The French toast had a very prominent vanilla flavor and was very sweet but very good. The burrito chimichanga style was amazing. The burrito was very greasy should come with some salsa on the side too to cut through that. The side of hash browns was the real star in all honesty so airy and crispy the best I've ever had. The service was quick and constant attention. The tables are weirdly close together which is interesting.

This place is so good. Feels like your at your friends house getting a bite to eat with your crew. I sat at the bar and loved seeing how the employees interacted with all the customers. The place has a great diner vibe. It's perfect for feeling welcome. Now for the food.... I had the chicken and sausage gumbo two days in a row I enjoyed it so much. The first night I had red Beans and Rice which was really good especially paired with the Gator Sausage. The second day I had the shrimp and angel hair pasta in a really good cream sauce. I almost licked the plate clean.... While I didn't have a lot of time to try several places I would say this is the place to eat in the area hands down!!!

    Onion rings

The onions rings here are amazing! The servers are pretty good they're nice and friendly. They have a long bar to sit at and a few booths I think and tables. We sat in a corner where the walls were pretty nasty, like they never clean this place at all. The garlic cheese bread was good but the "marinara" that it came with didn't quite taste like any marinara sauce I've ever had. Almost tasted Mexican like- it was strange but it wasn't bad. I got the crazy Cajun poboy which is hot sausage and fried shrimp...not a fan. I don't think those 2 things combine together too well in one, but the shrimp was good, and the sausage was ok. They definitely have some very unique menu items, combining foods together like I've never heard. I encourage others to go get their own opinion but I wasn't crazy for this spot

I've been having to cut back on fried/greasy/fatty foods lately, so I was excited to see that this place offers grilled and blacked options for some entries. I placed my to-go order over the phone easily enough, and has only a brief wait when I arrived before my food was ready. I got the blackened catfish with corn and rice & gravy, plus bread pudding for dessert. The fish was well cooked, nicely seasoned, and refreshing for not being fried. The bread pudding was very tasty too, with strawberries, blueberries, and white chocolate. If you're looking for seafood but don't want it fried (or boiled), give this place a try.

This is the perfect spot to come here with the family for some breakfast. You can tell a lot of the locals love this place. We had a 30 minute wait for breakfast and everyone was willing to wait because the food is that good. The grits here are pretty good too!

    I got a handful of fries ...

I've only gotten takeout i've never actually dined in so i can't say anything abt the customer service & personally the food is really good but the prices for what you're getting are unreal. Here i got 2 BLT Sandwiches with a side of fries & it was 19.45$ . Both my Sandwiches looked like that picture & a handful of fries ... Really. All for a good price of 19.45$ Unbelievable. This whole meal is maybe 12$ at best.

    Chicken and waffles

The chicken had a maple with bacon taste with outside being nice and crispy. Comes with a side of 2 eggs. Serving size is big enough for 2 people.

Chicken fried chicken meal - enough to feed 2 people!

I regret I didn't find this place till my last day here! Busy with locals, fantastic food, large portions, good prices, and classic dinner vibe! Went around 1030 and got their chicken fried chicken. Well cooked, crispy coating, Cajun gravy that wasn't too much or too spicy. Came with 3 eggs, grits and a biscuit. For &20 I have breakfast and lunch. Looking forward to making my way back here to try some of their other items, for sure!!

Service was less than mediocre, the food was bland. They were out of chicken, even though that's what their menu mainly consisted of.

From the minute we walked in we felt so welcome. Everyone was friendly and our server, Daniela, was awesome! She called us "baby" and I'm here for all of that! The restaurant is colorful and happy inside which was so nice and comfortable. Our coffee cups were never empty. Food was delicious! I had the fried catfish with eggs and grits and my fiancé had the fried crawfish breakfast. Biscuits were wonderful and the Aebelskivers (pancake fried dough) they have were incredible!! Highly recommended! Yes we ordered too much food and we were not mad about it! There was a casual, welcoming, as well as comfortable atmosphere to the place. Bacon Praline. Chef's kiss. This was the best bacon I have ever had! It was satisfyingly crispy, absolutely mouthwatering, expertly candied, topped with a generous dusting of praline, giving it an additional sweet taste and adding another layer of deliciousness to it. For my brunch meal, I ordered the Smothered Smoked Pork Chops with potatoes, eggs, and biscuit. The Pork Chops were tender with great smoky flavor, while the accompanying white, savory sauce was tasty and well seasoned with bits of meat. It was just a bit too fatty for me. Potatoes were also yummy, cooked perfectly, and slightly crispy. I requested the eggs to be fried over hard, and it was a bit weird, because the yolk seemed to be mixed in. It was also a little bland. Biscuit was too dry. Overall, this was a nice place to have brunch. Service was solid. The waitress was super friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. I would consider returning just to get the Bacon Praline again! I was also intrigued by the Waffle and Duck Hash with sweet potato, so want to try that dish.

Check-in was a little chaotic...the hostess seemed overwhelmed and kept insisting that our whole group needed to be present, even though we were all there, just browsing the thrift shop across the street while waiting for our table. We ended up waiting about 15-20 minutes past our reservation time, but given how busy it was, we were grateful to have a reservation at all! To start, I ordered a Bloody Mary, which was so tasty and even came with a piece of delicious chicharrón which was such a great touch. My boyfriend and I shared the lox and the Alma breakfast. The salmon on the lox was fresh, but the portion was a little small for the price. The Alma breakfast, on the other hand, was great especially the beans. Wow! So much flavor. Easily the best part of the meal. My boyfriend and I were literally fighting over the last bites! Before leaving, we decided to try the tres leches cake. This version was a bit different from others I've had since it was on the drier side, served in a bowl of milk. An interesting take, and I really enjoyed it! Perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. While it wasn't my favorite tres leches ever, it was still a solid dessert. Overall, I definitely recommend this place!
